Diego is an artist, his work is perfection. He was really great and the tub looks like new. He was fast, efficient and clean as well.

They arrived on time the day after a major snow storm; which surprised us. They were very professional and cautious while working ensuring they did not damage anything while working. The quote was very reasonable; and the results were outstanding. This is one of the few times where I can say the rating truly matches the work. I plan on using them again in the future.

He was punctual. Diego taped off the room like a pro, very impressed. He meticulously cleaned the tub before spraying and cleaned before leaving. The tub came out great. Looks like a brand new white tub. He guarantees the work for 5 years and at $375, if I need a spray again in 5 years I'd be happy to give him my business. He is a gentleman and was sure to have my full satisfaction before leaving. Highly recommend his services to anyone.

Our experience with Diego was excellent! To start, to keep our home as clean as he could, he covered our tile floor with plastic sheeting and covered the hallway where he kept his tools with a tarp, Very careful and respectful of our home. On to the work -- our tub was very discolored and the bottom was flaking and peeling but after it was reglazed it really does look brand new. He recaulked the tub and even fixed some tiles that he noticed were loose at the base of the tub (he went above and beyond with that). He had said in our original conversation that he would have it done in three to four hours and he was finished and had everything cleaned up in three. Before he left he gave us detailed instructions on how to properly care for and clean our brand new tub. We are 100% satisfied with the job he did and we wish that he could clone himself and do every other job we want done in our home. Thank you, Diego.

Diego was extremely professional and very honest with his concerns about not being 100 percent how much he could repair it all if there was a lot of damage once he was able to see what was behind the liner walls. I was willing to take the chance with him because there was water in between the original tub and the liner and we urgently needed to get this fixed. Once the liner walls were removed, he was confident he could complete the job. He repaired the broken tiles, reglazed the shower tiles, tub and bathroom wall tiles white. The original colors were peach and green so to see his work completed in all white we were completely amazed!!! Diego was reasonably priced, professional, thorough, clean and prompt. The job took a total of two days with an extra day to dry. I am sooooo happy with the work he did. I wanted to give this review a few months after the work to make sure it wasnt too good to be true but my bathroom looks amazing!!!! Thank you so much, diego for helping us!!

Looked OK but called him back to fix "drips" that pooled up o the tub rim and to clean paint off window sections where exhaust fan had been installed. Drips were fixed and white paint removed from 75% of window sections. But worker didn't mask off areas outside the tub, so a fine paint glaze was found on faucets, mirrors, etc. in the bathroom. Only naphtha and/or Brillo will remove the film. Did not call the company to report that.

The service we received from D R Reglazing was absolutely top notch. Diego came on time and was a complete professional. He took his shoes off at the door and came in to survey the condition of our bathtub. Before starting the process Diego explained what he was going to do before starting to work. The job was completed in about 2 and a half hour and we were so exceedingly happy with all that was done to make our old bathtub look brand new. The team of DR Reglazing showed up on time, did a fabulous job and left everything looking sparkling. In addition to the reglazing they caulked everything and repaired some areas on the tile where the grout was chipped. The bathroom looks brand new again! We were very happy with the results

His price is comparable to others on Angie's List but ultimately we decided not to use him because he tagged on an additional $50 for travel expenses even though we were in his service area.

I have an old tub from the 1920-30's that had been poorly reglazed, had rust by the drain, and had been scratched up pretty bad by contractors that used it for storage. I'm in a former sponsor unit in a coop. Diego was professional and friendly on the phone, and was able to schedule my work with 2 weeks of my call. He said the work would be around $500. He showed up with his wife on time, and they both took off their shoes before entering. They worked quietly and were done in 4.5 hours. Everything was cleaned up before they left. The tub looks brand new and shiny. He was even able to get rid of some ridges on the side of the tub (who knows how that happened). It took two days to dry, and now looks beautiful. When he was done, the charge was $425. I would highly recommend him.

We have the original 1950's peach tile and original tub that are in decent shape, but desperately needed a good clean up and face lift. They did a really great job! It seriously looks like a new bathroom. The odor from the glaze lingered for a while, which we figured, but we just kept the bathroom door closed and had the window in there open. I really wish we had hired these guys a long time ago.

Diego did a fantastic job! He was able to schedule a date with me very quickly, arrived exactly on time, finished in 4 hours, and left the work area spotlessly clean. Best of all, my tub looks brand new! Even the super in my building couldn't believe how amazing it looks. Diego also re-glazed the walls surrounding the tub, so now they are also bright and shiny. Everything went just perfectly! I highly recommend Diego, and I would not hesitate to call him again for additional work. He's an absolute pro, and delightful to deal with. I couldn't be happier with his work.

It was very good. He was very professional. He came when he said he would. He cleaned up everything. He gave us instructions on what we should do to keep it in good condition when he left. He was done when he said he was gonna be done. If we needed to, we would use him again.

Diego came with another professional, worked for 3 hours, did the job superbly without too much noise or bad smell. Everything was done as well as I could ever have wanted.

Diego is worth every 5 star rave review. He represents the best in class and I can not recommend him more highly. I have spent over a year dealing with every kind of contractor and handyman and I don't have a good review for a single one of them. But this is not what you will find with Diego and his lovely co-worker. He responds timely (helpful if you provide a photo I'm sure) here on Angie's list. He is very booked but he will give you his first opening. It was worth the wait of a few weeks. He arrived about 15 minutes early which was great. Everything was perfectly masked off and protected in the bathroom. He did a few repairs to the enamel before working and he also had to remove left over silicone glue from when the shower doors were removed -- something that TWO contractors could not remove, nor could I. He gave me an option of reglazing with or without the drain cover attached. Being that I don't have anyone to replace that cover, I asked him to leave it intact. He gladly did so and the work was done perfectly. He worked for nearly three hours due to a thorough prep job. Afterwards, he additionally re-caulked the tub to make a clean line where the tub and new tiles met and he also kindly re-caulked for me my new sink area where (again) the previous contractor had done a crappy job....all for his originally quoted price of $375 which I believe was the best deal and worth every penny. I am very grateful to have found him here on Angie's. I learned he also works in Manhattan where I am pleased to recommend him. Just check the building's insurance demands. He carries the normal insurance coverage. The work is warranted for 5 years for original owners only and 2 years for rental properties - all for obvious reasons. Being that this is a guest bathroom and rarely used, the job should last a good long time. I highly recommend!

Diego was very prompt at getting back to me on my first call to him? he listened attentively and gave me a quote right over the phone. He offered a few dates he could come? all within about a week- two weeks. He gave me an approximate time he would be here. The day of, he called me to let me know he was an hour away and he was on his way? he arrived at exactly the time he originally told me. He was extremely professional, went right to work and got the job done within two hours. He cleaned up everything and disposed of his own garbage instead of adding it to mine like some companies do. He was even polite enough to remove his shoes! I would definitely work with Diego again?. it was such an easy process- I should have called him years ago!! Thank you Diego!!!!

Great transaction. We contacted Diego for an estimate. He asked us to send photos (by phone) of the tub and got back to us right away with an estimate. He scheduled a date for 11/4/14 at 8:30AM. He and his wife arrived a little early and they got right to work. They were very careful in protecting the floor outside the bathroom and used a box fan in the window to vent the fumes since my wife was watching our granddaughter and he didn't want the fumes to bother her or my wife. They were done in about four hours. The tub looks better than new. He instructed us not to use it for two days and advised that we not use a suction-type mat in the tub . He recommended a mat that would not affect the finish and gave us the phone number of a local supplier. The service and results were top notch. Another reason that we use Angie's List for all of our home repairs.
