John did a very good job. Was prompt and accessible. Checked all what was accessible in the Condo apartment. Pointed to us right on the spot if something is not right and needs our attention. Did excellent report for all inspected items with explanations and photos. The price is fair for Condo Inspection.

John did a full inspection of the condo unit and produced a 16-page, highly detailed report. Ninety percent of the information in the report was something that I would have never thought to ask. I took his recommendations for repairs and submitted them to the seller with a request to fix the problems. John was very professional and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend his services.

I was referred to John from Hometech NJ by the first home inspector I called, who was going to be out of town on vacation the date we needed the inspection. I figured if a competitor was willing to recommend John, he must be great. He did not disappoint. John clearly loves his work and is happy to explain anything about the house you are purchasing in as much detail as you want. As first-time home buyers, my husband and I know next to nothing about home construction. His was extremely thorough, spending almost 5 hours inspecting our 2500 square foot house. John was also happy to point us towards qualified specialists where he thought we might want to get additional information about the condition of our home (ex: plumbing, chimney). He was very patient in walking us through the report (40+ pages with photos) and made excellent suggestions as to which items should be high priority for repair (very helpful in negotiating with the seller). Overall an excellent experience.

Needed a home inspection done on a fixer upper house we are considering buying. Called HomeTech NJ and spoke to John. He was very personable on the phone and was able to fit me in at short notice. He was quick to answer any questions I had and sent over the inspection paperwork right away. On Inspection day, I swear he found everything that was wrong and/ or needed fixing in the house. He even found the original knob and tube electrical panel that was hidden and still live! He emailed the report in about 3 business days. The HI report was very thorough,detailed and included pictures (~60 pgs). We wanted a fixer upper but John's report was a reality check and we are going to use the Hometech HI report as our road map and budget accordingly.

I called John after reading many of the positive reviews about his service on various websites. I am sure glad that I did. He was very helpful, even on the phone before he even got to the house. He arrived early and had already inspected and taken pictures of everything from the outside before I reached the there. He was very thorough and descriptive about his various findings. He answered all of my many questions and was very easy to understand. He is very friendly and I highly recommend him for your next Home Inspection.

John Gutierrez went above and beyond! My husband and I researched many home inspection companies, and HOMETECH NJ INSPECTION SERVICES came the most highly recommended. John really took his time inspecting our home, explaining to us what he saw a long the way. We actually followed him around the whole time, asking an endless amount of questions. John did not mind one bit, he was super patient and extremely easy to talk to. He is very professional, knowledgeable, and overall quite impressive. John also arranged for a sewer, chimney, radon, and oil tank specialist to come into our home. He was very organized, and the whole experience could not have gone smoother.
