Chapelwood Services came out, provided a reasonable price for our job and most important of all called to schedule a time for the job and fulfilled the contract as written. ( Professional, ontime and Returned our property to excellent condition.) We would certainly use this company again & would not hesitate to recommend them.

He came out, he was excellent. I felt it was very fair and he did an excellent job. I was very surprised at how good it was, it really was very, very good. He also did some other work for me while he was there. I had a beam that was split, so he put a sister joint in it and I was very, very pleased with that. It supported the room above it. I didn?t know whether he did that type of work or not. I didn?t know if he whether he did just drywall, plastering or what not, but he also did that for me. I thought the price was very fair for that too. I don?t remember what I paid off hand, but it was very fair. It was in my cellar, but he treated it like he was doing my living room. He was so careful with everything he did. I was very impressed.

Went well. They did a good job of assessing and costing. Professional people who knew what they were doing.

Bob came out and surveyed my issue he was very professional and courteous and started to perform the work. A few hours go by and he calls me saying that I would be a perfect candidate for pipe sleeving and it would save me money. I was in the middle of 2 meetings and was having a crazy day I didn't really understand what he was saying since I didn't get a chance to do any research on this and they were at my house and felt pressured to answer him quickly. I halfheartedly agreed not knowing what I was going to be receiving. I was staying at a hotel for the 2 days while they were there and came back and saw what they did. I was under the impression that they were going to sleeve from the curb to the main but instead they sleeved from my clean out to the curb. At first my family were at odds with Matt and Chapelwood but through out the whole process he was very respectful, courteous and responsive to any and all questions that I had. We basically handled our differences like gentlemen and that spoke VOLUMES to me. Some contractors get down right aggressive and combative in regards to money discrepancies. Matthew's handling of the situation is a rare pleasure that you don't see often in the contractor world. I would highly recommend ChapleWood Home Services

They did not perform the services. They mentioned that they would come out and do an estimate and not the services I bought the coupon for.

The representative was courteous and professional. However, the offer on the Angie's website did not indicate that the company specializes in premolded units, which was not what I was interested in.

Trimmed windows in wood and stained. Also covered with vinyl siding and trimmed on the outside. Removed and disposed of wall air conditioner and blended knotty pine wall before installing stationary window. All debris was removed and any furniture put back in place. I could not have asked for a better job. Excellent work and very professional. Without a doubt, I would recommend them to anyone. You will not be disappointed. They do not leave until you are happy with the work and tell you if there are any problems with the work, just call.

The company is very professional. Matt was very responsive and answered all of my questions. It took a little bit longer than stated initially, but that was due to the soaker tub arriving damaged and they had to order another one. Found several high rated residential construction and roofing contractors through Angie's list. Called three different providers in the area to give estimates for replacement of our aged roof and possibly replace our skylight which was starting to leak. Matthew Miglin responded promptly by E-mail, phone and through messages on Angie's list. Matthew came out and surveyed our job and quickly provided a very detailed estimate which he E-mailed to us. After our review and some questions we decided to use Matthew and Chapelwood Home Services to replace our entire roof and the old leaking skylight. His estimate was much more in line with our budget than the other estimates we received for the work. This was great because our home was located just slightly out of Chapelwood's service area and so Matthew was going beyond his normal service area because we were Angie's list members. After signing our agreement and picking out the colors, Matthew fit us into his work schedule within a week. Wow. He estimated the work would take several days to complete. Matthew and his team showed up on time as scheduled and completely covered anything that could be damaged outside of the house during the removal of the old roof. The materials were what we wanted and the colors matched as expected. His crew was polite and they worked carefully. The finished job was great, everything was completed as expected, and they finished the entire job in one day ahead of schedule. Matthew was very careful and the clean up and removal of the debris was thorough. he even offered to replace a downspout that I damaged earlier this year with snow removal. We of course said that it was not their fault. They went around the entire property with a roller magnet to pick up all the nails that may have slipped through their cover material. We highly recommend Chapelwood Home Services and would definitely use Matthew again for future projects on our home. Thank you Matthew!

I am selling my 200+ year old house in Mendham Township, NJ and in order to meet the buyer's purchase conditions, it became necessary to repair/replace the roof and mitigate the occasional water seepage in the basement. I had use Chapelwood previously on another job and knew the quality and speed of their work so I called them first for consultation and cost estimates. They responded immediately and I quickly had their opinion on the scope and cost of the repair work which I found to be very reasonable and acceptable. Chapelwood excavated a corner of the basement where water leaked in, installed a sump pump basin and sump pump electric unit, a drain in front of the boiler at the lowest spot on the floor and fed it into the sump pump basin and installed a pvc drain pipe from the sump pump through the foundation wall to the outside yard. Outside the house, they redirected two downspouts away from the house. All work was completed in less than 2 days and within just 1 week of signing the Contractor Agreement. There was a heavy rain since then, but no seepage in the basement...I'm very happy with the results. I took their advice of fully replacing the 25+ year old roof rather than spot fixes here and there and that job was also done quickly and well. All work was done quickly and professionally by very competent workers and I found dealing with them to be a pleasure. This was all a "rush" job and Chapelwood was able to work me into their schedule in order to meet the closing date for the sale of the home. I would absolutely use these guys again.

Matthew was willing to do the job within a limited time frame. Other companies came here and told me the job was too big to handle. Matthew was willing to help us and was enthusiastic about it. He is on time and very professional. He neatly removed bathroom tiles, door threshold and kitchen tiles to get to the damp sub floor. Had to remove kitchen cabinet for more access to problem. Put everything back neatly. Performed very neat repair to floor. Installed new shower stall, tub and glass and made repairs to drywall behind shower. Cut new bathroom entry door to size and installed perfectly. He came back two times to fine tune his work. He also helped with repairing a pipe which I broke while changing a shower head...at no extra charge. He is very neat with his work, we were very impressed. We look forward to calling him again with our next project.

Matt and his helper arrived early on Monday morning, as promised and started work immediately.They laid out protective floor coverings before beginning their work. Moved some shelves out of their way and started the task at hand. I also asked Matt to check on a stain on my bathroom wall, thinking that it might be mold. He worked on it, and plastered over it after removing what was not mold. These guys worked tirelessly all day long, putting up the wall and ceiling boards, working around ceiling pipes and then applying many coats of spackling, allowing each coat to dry in between. If there was an A++++ rating, they would get it. Even their clean up was above and beyond what I would have expected. Would I use them again? In a heartbeat, with absolutely no reservations, whatsoever. Great job guys, fast and professional all the way. Thank you so much. And I will be calling again! - Jerry P.S. I would give them the highest grade possible, he was absolutely fantastic, no complaints or whatsoever, highly recommend them. I can't say enough good things about them, he checks with you about major decisions and he's thorough and he takes responsibility if there's a glitch that's his fault and he delivers on time, he's very timely, I mean, I just can say enough good things about him.He's probably the only one I'll use in the future.

Chapelwood was very responsive. I had called when Matthew was out of town, but the office called me to tell me the exact date he would be back. I received a call that day, and his quote was prompt, professional, and in-line with my expectations (which the other contractor did not initially provide), and he was ready with a professional contract, including start/end dates. On the day of the job, Matthew showed up on time, and ready to begin work (he did pre-work to cut all the PVC in his shop), and he said he would get it all done in one day (the other guy took 4 days up the street). Well, he was good on his word. The work was completed, it is beautiful, and he cleaned up the entire site. I have to say that I would recommend Chapelwood for any work on your home. Matthew is professional, knows what he is doing, provides detailed estimates, solid contracts, and completes the work on time and as agreed.

All work was very high quality and completed in a timely fashion. Excellent value, very professional. I cannot say enough good things about Chapelwood and I will only use Chapelwood Construction in the future for any work I need done.

Overall it went well. Chapelwood contracts out their chimney work which is fine, but the contractor that was used was not very prompt. There seemed to be a long time between start and finish. They did have to dig a footing for the chimney and pour the concrete so that may have taken some time to set. We also had some wet weather during this time so that held up things a bit. Unfortunately, that did cause some problems for us. The crew demolished the old chimney and then put up a tarp over the exposed area but it wasn't put up very securely. We had a rainstorm that completely blew the tarp off the roof and we ended up having some water damage in our kitchen as a result. We just had that repaired by another contractor. Aside from that, the new chimney looks great and we're very happy with the end result.

I purchased a big deal coupon for this company.That was good. I just used him one time, but they finished up the project that I was doing and everything went well. He came, it was pretty close to when I bought the deal, within a month or two. The price seemed reasonable. The guys were reasonable, the guys were very nice that came out and did the job. They came promptly and cleaned up after themselves.

Very professional and informative. Would definitely use in the future.
