It was perfect large crew showed up and did the whole job in one day this is the 4th time I have used M lindsay and they are always great clean up afterwords pleasure to work with. I have some rooms that don't have the greatest insulation so they suggested bigger boiler (mine was already 26 years old) and larger base board units but strung every where against the outside walls and what a difference it has made in one day

The day I left for vacation my heat and hot water decided to fail, leaving me in Florida with a house in NJ that was quickly approaching pipe-freezing temperatures. ML&S was the only company that I could easily get on the phone at 9:00 at night and knew exactly what needed to be done. It was an expensive repair, and included an emergency fee, but was well worth it compared to the alternative of burst pipes. They were quick to respond, highly knowledable and used technology really well: confirmation text messages with the technician’s photo and info, highly communicative, had parts in stock, and accepted credit cards on the spot. Although I paid for it, they saved my *** in a difficult situation. Will definitely use them again.

Response time was fantastic as usual. Fortunately for me, this was not a major problem and only a couple of pipes had to be replaced, which was done quickly and professionally. I've used Mark Lindsay Plumbing for years and highly recommend them for big or small jobs.

pump and controller were installed in one day. Response to the situation was very fast. old pump started to fail on thursday and mark came out and got it running. scheduled replacement for the following friday. Pump gave up the ghost over weekend . Monday (holiday) the crew came out and replaced unit. Their service was very fast and all the employees were great. Came back Tuesday to check system and cleaned up as if they were never there

It went very well. Mike thoroughly cleaned boiler with brushes and vacuum. Performed required maintenance. Checked combustion characteristics. Answered all my questions. Expert and professional. Meticulous work, and even careful to not track in the snow that's falling today!

The were great and very responsive. We went with a lower bid tho. They were our second choice.

This company just finished converting my electric heat to gas heat and they did a fabulous job! Right from the onset, they were a pleasure to work with. From the proposal to installation to finishing up the project, they couldn't have been more professional or pleasant. The entire team was remarkable. Dean, Brett, Mike, Roy, Rick, Dan, Ron, and a few more names I can't remember, were absolutely fabulous. They worked very well together and took pride in their work. I felt very comfortable having them in my home and they took very good care of my home and treated it even better than if it were theirs. They explained everything to me and there were no surprises or hidden costs. The job was done neatly and on time, which was an absolute necessity with winter closing in. I would recommend them in a heartbeat for any heating or cooling needs. When the time comes to replace my central air, I won't hesitate to bring them back. Truly a cut above the rest!

Technician unclogged the drain and gave helpful suggestions of what to do to avoid further problems offering environmentally safe options. Very courteous. We have used this firm before and are still satisfied with their service.

I have used Mark Linsday and Sons several times in the past and needed some repairs to my gas boiler which is almost 60 years old, Mark himself came and determined what was needed to keep it going. He then noticed an accumulation of lint from our clothes dryer in the basement. He examined the entire system and found it to be quite dangerous as it had built up tons of lint which he explained could be a fire hazard. All the work was explained and Diane quickly set up an appointment for me. John and another Tech ( sorry I forgot his name), arrived on the scheduled time and went right to work. The boiler was repaired as well as the entire dryer venting system. We also had a non functioning sink which was removed and the water lines capped. The work was performed quickly and professionally. I had previously had PSE&G come and look at the boiler but was told our coverage with them did not include bleeding the boiler which he did at an additional charge!! Mark graciously gave me credit for the money I had paid PSE&G, that was an act of pure class and showed his appreciation an respect for his customers! I highly recommend Mark Lindsay and Sons to everyone needing any of their services.

Added a shutoff valve that was needed for continued operations and maintenance. Work was done efficiently and effectively.

The two guys that came- Jim and Ryan- were so helpful. They explained everything to me, answered all my questions, and were overall great. I couldn’t be happier!

I have used this company several times in the past and found them to be fantastic. We had a running toilet which was caused by a faulty water shut off valve and the entire workings of the bowl. We also had a stench of waste in several areas in the home. I called Mark Lindsey and the staff was very accomadating in scheduling. Erik arrived promptly and examined every sink, toilet bowl, showers and bath tubs. He quickly repaired the toilet bowl project and went on a hunt for the waste odor. He found a broken and leaking sink waste drain in the basement which he cut out and capped the end to prevent waste odors from escaping into our home. I highly recommend them to all requiring their services!

I am a new building owner, I bought a multi-family! When my tenant called to say the water smelled like rotten eggs, I was panicked - not only does that sound gross, it sounds dangerous! The first thing I appreciated is Mark Lindsay has a chat available on their website so while I was at work I was able to get started and confirm that they serviced my area. I then called the office to schedule service. The office staff was amazing, lots of contact and follow up - I wish I remembered everyone's name! There was a slight delay in being able to schedule because it wasn't clear if I needed someone to service the well or my system. Actually, I don't know if it was a delay - I've never scheduled service with a plumber before! I called on Monday and had someone there on Friday - they also let me know the smell was gross but harmless so I was relieved! On Friday, I met with Jonah Mazzuco and his helper and they were on time. An extra plus is that I received a text with Jonah's info and picture letting me know he was on the way. This is very convenient but also a great safety feature. Jonah went through everything with me, explained the issues that were causing and explained the water test that showed my softener wasn't working - I appreciated that because I don't know much about my system! He went over the solution - I needed a carbon aeration filter system and a new water softener. Again, Jonah went over everything with me. I signed the agreement to do the work and he said someone would call me for the down payment. Jonah and his helper were friendly and very professional. Price! Of course the price is always the hardest part! But I felt that Jonah recommended a system that was good for the building. The apartments have kind of fancy combi water heaters and problems with them would be much more expensive so I'm glad the system he chose will protect them from hard water. I paid the 50% deposit on Sunday - yes someone was in the office on Sunday 10/21/18! Scheduling service - again, I don't know how long is fast or slow in scheduling this type of work but when the office called to schedule and they said November 7, I was not happy - I couldn't have my tenant taking a shower in stinky water for another 2 weeks! Luckily, they were kind and scheduled it for 10/31/18. That was today and I'm writing this review the same day because I was so pleased. I again received a text when Jonah was on his way. Everything went so smoothly and Jonah did a great job. It took much less time than I expected and everything was neat and clean. I even think my system is kind of pretty so I included a picture! I'm afraid I might be spoiled from this experience after years of hearing horror stories about having work done on a home - this was amazingly easy, the communication was great and every person I dealt with was totally professional. I love that they have updated systems that allowed me to chat from the website to a real person, receive the texts about the plumber who was coming and pay the final balance from an Ipad - my credit card was even saved in the system. I highly recommend Mark Lindsay and Son and certainly understand why they have such a good rating. I will definitely exclusively use them for all the services they provide.

Inspected and tested the central heating unit and humidifier. Humidifier needed a valve replaced ($190). Added to the service, the final bill was ~$350...not cheap. But the technician gave me peace of mind once again, explaining how all the parts work, and also took a quick look at 2 totally unrelated issues: the water softener which intermittently leaks, and quickly inspected the air duct from the clothes dryer. I'd hire them again.

Jim was a highly qualified service tech. Jim took the time to explain things and worked as a true professional on my middle aged boiler.

The price estimate (quote) was too high, 1.5-2 times more than what I eventually got it done for.

It went fantastic. Mark Lindsay came out promptly to access my heating issue. Once the technician found my existing boiler and water heater not be safe to use, they quickly scheduled the replacement Monday the next week. Not only did they help move me in front of the list, but also brought over heaters for my family to use over the weekend. The technicians were very professional and the install was clean and well done. If anyone needs any plumbing needs, I recommend Mark Lindsay and son highly, thanks Mark for putting people first.

My hot water started to leak on the day we were leaving for vacation. I called Mark Lindsay hoping he could get to me ASAP. Mark Lindsay was able to have a crew at my house the same day. We were on our way to vacation by 5:00 p/m . I called Mark Lindsay because I know he has multiple trucks on the road and my past experiences have been great. Last month I decided to replace my 45 year old furnace, I again went with Mark Lindsay for the replacement. Mark's guys did the install in one day. Again, I was completely satisfied with the product and workmanship. When the inspector came to inspect the work on both units I was surprised how quickly the inspection was completed. When I told the inspector I was surprised he commented "when work is done by a professional team the inspection goes smooth". Great job again!!! I recommend Mark Lindsay and son to my friends and family.

This company is fantastic, I got a text message that the text was on the way with a picture and phone number in the event I need to get into contact. He was able to fix the issue in a timely manner as well as recommend future work to make sure this issue does not happen again.
