Installation went smoothly. No issues with installation or workmanship. I would have preferred a drier install. There was some water that leaked as the pipes were being connected to the hot water tank that was not mopped up, and it soaked into the carpet. Overall I was pleased with the services rendered and I would use them again.

The work was completed in a timely manner and the quality and craftsmanship was good. That being said the clean up could have been better especially around the well and I think we were treated rudely. Any questions relevant to his work seams to irritate him. I was particularly annoyed when my wife called Lindsay to complain of not having hot water. The water heater was not very old at the time and I was at work. I suggested to my wife that perhaps the pilot light had gone out and to give Lindsay a call. He came and (lit the pilot light) and handed her a bill for $80.00. Sorry, that is not what I expect from a professional business man who had a well established and good paying customer. Never again!
Description of Work: We had our entire home's copper plumbing replaced. A water heater,well pump and a water conditioner installed this over a 10-12yr period. The follow up (maintenance), however was difficult to arrange as the contractor neglected to make contact. For example...when water conditioner required service we had to place a service call. there was never any follow up or suggestion on Lindsay's part. This unit cost us plenty of money and the contractor knew how important servicing the tank was going to be. We were promised a written warranty contract for the water heater, but it was like pulling teeth. I think it took about a year to get

He did the work...a decent job in awful weather in the middle of the night on a weekend ,,but I would not recommend him nor use him again
Description of Work: We called Mark Lindsay on a sunday night in bad weather and Mark came out on an awful night inthe middle of the night...to his credit. We had a frozen pipe that sprung a leak...we had water all over the place. He instructed us properly to turn the water off and he came as soon as he could and did a decent job, Thats the best I could say. He was rude and unprofessional. I like to ask as many questions as possible. He made it obvious that he did not want me following him as when he walked into the room where he was working he closed the door behind him even though I was walking right behind him. Even though I told him I lost my job he charged us a tremendous amount of money... I believe about $600,00 bucks, I could not recommend Him as a contractor.

In the past they have replaced a water softener and a boiler. They have been pretty reliable. Their prices are reasonable.

I bought a high end faucet from Home Depot. The attending plumber attempted to hook it up- upon hooking it up claimed it did not work as it only dribbled water. He stated that he never heard of the brand I had purchased and suggested I call the manufacturer for a replacement part. I did so and a part was sent out. Plumber returned only to report to me the same problem and again told me to call the manufacturer for another part. I did and once received, the plumber again could not make the faucet functional and suggested I return the faucet. I called Home Depot and spoke to a manager-as one of their employees had suggested the faucet. The manger called the CEO of the faucet company who in turn called me and had the state representative come to my house to look at this faucet. THE REPRESENTATIVE FIXED THE FAUCET IN ONE MINUTE BY TAKING OUT A WASHER THAT WAS TOO BIG - AND MADE BY THE PLUMBER. AMEX charged back what money I spent because of this botched job.
Description of Work: Plumber was called in to hook up new faucet, hot water dispenser etc. beneath the kitchen sink as we were having our kitchen redone. Mark Lindsay Inc. was the only plumber I called that could come out on short notice to perform this job. (THIS REPORT IS ONLY PART ONE OF MY EXPERIENCE WITH THIS PLUMBER- CHECK BACK FOR THE EXCITNG- AND FAR MORE COSTLY FUMBLES AND FOIBLES THAT HAD THE FIRE DEPARTMENT AT MY HOUSE AND MY THREE CHILDREN AND I (TWO MONTH OLD BABY INCLUDED) SITTING IN A CAR IN DECEMBER IN FEAR THAT MY HOUSE WAS GOING TO EXPLODE!!!!)
