The end product was perfect. I was happy that I was watching though. I have an odd shaped property and they were not going to put the fence at the angle we wanted at first. So, for any fencing contractor, make sure you dont look at just the drawing but walk around the yard and make sure that you have the same ideas on exact placement of the fence.

I had Fencemax install a fence on my property about three weeks ago. After two days, the fence has sunk in several locations and the gate no longer opens. Fencemax could care less. They cashed the check and are done with us!!Fencemax NEVER answers the phone, they very rarely call back, they are often rude when I get them on the phone, and they are COMPLETELY unhelpful and useless. I have been told that several issues will be taken care of and they were not. I tried to cancel before the fence was even ordered because I noticed a customer service problem but was told "we do not do that." They have no concern for me, as a customer, or the quality of their work. I even emailed the owner, Mark Amechi, at the email given to me by Flora and he never responded!! The employees even complain about one another and that is a huge indication that something is wrong. Fencemax should restructure their entire customer service department, or lack thereof. For me, I would have simply appreciated it if they would have just fixed my brand new fence and gate which should be in perfect condition after only two days.If you choose to work with this company, you'd better hope you never need them again after the install because you cease to exist once your check clears!! And you WILL need them because the quality of work is horrific. I have NEVER dealt with a company this bad in my entire life!!

The installers did not arrive till almost 10am which was later than we understood. The fence was installed. We had concerns about how some of the sections looked unlevel. They worked to fix them. They showed us how the SELF CLOSING gates worked and how to adjust the tension if needed. Everything seemed to be OK for a couple of months. I noticed that the gates no longer closed by themselves. The gates were dragging the ground and would not close by themselves. In May I talked personally with Mike at the Hainesport office with no action or phone call. I talked twice to Jan ( Customer Service ) and still no one came to fix the gates and no phone calls from any one. I talked with Kim in the Newfield office, who talked to Mark Amechi (the owner) directly. He said he was coming out to see for himself. He never came out. They sent out a guy named Tom on Friday, June 22,2012 to look at the gates. He told me what he might do to fix the gates. He said he didn't have the right tools and would return on Monday, June 25,2012. THAT NEVER HAPPENED. NO ONE EVER CAME BACK AND NO ONE HAS CALLED..... Out of frustration I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. They have forwarded my complaint to the company and I'm waiting for a response. I WOULD STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY !!!!!

The installers who worked for the company hit a sprinkler pipe and said they had fixed, however, months later it broke again and the fence company again did not give me a call back.

Fencemax charged $5500 for their fence and subcontracted the old fence removal and new installation. We had to pay the subcontractor $2,000 by check when he arrived(no credit cards). Although Fencemax promised that they would cut and stack the old fence at the curb and arrange for our township to haul it away...we called after a week to find out why our old fence was still in front of the house. The phone operator at Fencemax said we were responsible for calling the township for removal and that the salesman was "new." After several attempts to contact the salesman and Mark Amechi personally, all calls and emails were ignored. After checking with the township we learned that they do not haul away old fences. Now we are stuck with the job of hiring a private hauler at our own additional expense for approximately $650 to complete the job we already paid for.
