UPDATE 5 Years Later... Originally I gave this company a 5 star rating. Little did I know my garage roof would totally collapse!!! I contacted Mr. Hernandez to discuss what could be done to resolve this issue. Mr. Hernandez agreed to meet with me on the next day...Mr. Hernandez never showed up. Well, 2 months later and after a few unanswered phone calls, text messages and voicemails...no response. Poor workmanship is the only reason a 5 year old garage roof would collapse. I would not recommend this company to anyone and I regret that I did in the first place. I wish that I was able to leave pictures.

The owner was prompt, confident and professional from first visit for estimate. Mr. Hernandez was complete with all of his credentials and even his own dumpster. Mr. Hernandez installed the storm door and front interior door, even working a full day on a Sunday. The job was quite complex as this is an older home and lots of modifications had to be done to complete this task. Once completed I was very impressed and felt reassured that any task given to Mr. Hernandez would be completed with integrity. After obtaining the permit the garage roof (4 car) was installed. This too took patience and time to demolish and then to install. His work crew was professional, never bothered the customer and performed professionally. He was sure to remove the trash every step of the way. He arrived everyday on time and they worked all day. I so love my new garage roof! Also installed was the power line that had to be run underground, this required digging. The digging had to done where gravel existed. the digging was done carefully and neatly, I can't even tell that the digging was done. I am also having this company remodel my kitchen and replace the basement doors I would highly recommend this company to anyone. Thank you

In the past two years I have done a tremendous amount of work on my 1919 colonial with a number of different contractors. Of all the contractors I've used, Jonathan and his team are top on my list! Our kitchen renovation was the last on our list of big projects after buying a an old house that, while well taken care of, was in need of updating. My wife and I spent about a year researching, planning, meeting with contractors, and re-planning how to renovate this kitchen. The kitchen was about 60 years old and starting to systematically fall apart. After meeting with three different sets of kitchen designers and contractors we finally settled on a kitchen designer who did an excellent job with the layouts and cabinets and Jonathan's team who did all of the demolition, construction/drywall, electrical, plumbing, cabinet installation, bay window installation, siding/roof repair, and painting. The biggest challenge in our kitchen was that it wasn't a huge space, roughly 12'x12'. So maximizing the layout was paramount and we wanted to also figure out a way to incorporate an eating area without sacrificing overall layout and work areas. Our solution ended up consisting of a number of smart solutions, but the biggest improvement was our idea to add a bay window on the back, exterior wall to create a built-in bench seat for the eating area. We had met with two other contractors prior to Jonathan and both shot down the idea, not because it was a bad idea, but because they wanted to sell us on doing an addition for may tens of thousands of dollars. Jonathan not only embraced the idea, but helped us think through some of the other considerations such as where and how we would need to move the radiator in order to make room for the new, giant bay window. Jonathan and his team worked very hard, were patient with me (who was an overly involved home owner!) and completed everything we asked for exactly as we asked for it to be done! Here is just one example of their patience and abilities: our home has a period architectural detail of arched doorways. In this renovation, we expanded the opening of the doorway to our dining room and asked Jonathan to match the archway style in the rest of the house. He spent three days meticulously building and shaping the arch to match the exact style of the rest of the house! If you are looking for a contractor who is up to any challenge, is a pleasure to work with and treats your home like his own, look no further than Jonathan!

I hired Jireh H. Home Improvement to remove a very old, large AC that was built into the wall of my 1919 colonial's family room. The room has old pine paneling, which we have painted to bring the room into a more modern aesthetic, however the paneling in this repair was the problem: unless I wanted to drywall the entire room, I would need to find a way to perfectly patch the old pine paneling. I had a few contractors look at the job prior to calling Jireh H. and each of them said it couldn't be done. Jonathan, the owner of Jirah H, was outstanding. He came in the evening and we discussed the repair. He told me that he would first need to do some research on the paneling to make sure that he could find a piece that would work and only if he could find a satisfactory piece would he attempt the repair. He took a lot of measurements and also discretely reviewed the thickness and structure of the panels by removing a light switch face plate. About a week later, Jonathan contacted me to let me know that he had found a 4'x8' replacement panel and also provided me a very reasonable price for the project. We scheduled the job and a week later he arrived on time and as promised. By the time I returned from work that evening, he had remove the AC, rebuilt the wall, seamlessly repaired by wood siding outside and was putting the final coat of paint on the new wall section. It looked perfect, like the AC unit had never been there! The following morning after the paint had dried, I noticed some minor buckling at one of the seams in the repair. I called Jonathan and he promised to come by that evening o have a look. Again, he came on time and explained that the new panel was thinner than the original paneling and the buckling was probably due to this difference. He said that he would be able to fix it easily in the morning, which is exactly what he did! We now have a perfectly repaired wall without an ugly through-the-wall AC.
