Unfortunately, the unit began malfunctioning after approximately a year. They were kind enough to replace the compressor a few months ago (which made me hopeful that we could resolve the issue). After over six different service calls where they claimed to have fixed the unit, the unit is still malfunctioning. The unit is clearly a lemon, but when I requested that they replace the unit or give me my money back, the company's president threatened to charge me for items retroactively that I had not agreed to pay for and place a mechanic's lien on my property. It's too bad - they seemed like nice people initially.
Description of Work: The provider installed a split level HVAC unit.

Split system installed December 2011 w/1 year parts and labor and additional 4 year compressor part warranty. System functions for almost 2 years before a problem occurred. Evergreen has responded promptly without any payment even though the warranty period has expired. We even replaced the entire outdoor unit with a brand new one. Free of charge. During our last service visit the unit was operating as normal. 3 weeks later the customer threatened us with "bad review" if we would not replace the unit or refund his money. We have been more than reasonable with his service request. Now he is demanding a new until after 2 years of operation and no record of maintenance on the system. We are more than willing to help him resolve any issues he may be having but will need to be paid for our services.
