I called at 5pm and got a callback within the hour from Lou (owner). Made an appointment for the next morning and at that time was given an estimate and explanation of the work to be done. Repairs were done the next morning. They removed debris (leaves, branches) to avoid future issues and went above & beyond, checking the various items going through the roof (chimneys, vents) and applying sealant.

Can't get a hold of the owner of the business. My wife has called and left couple of messages on their phone. Our roof was replaced in 2008 by this company with full warranty and now after 11 years are having a leak. We want them to come back and repair the leak. The longer we wait, and with current weather conditions, with more rain coming in the coming weeks, our ceiling and wood flooring will be completely ruined.

It did not go well. The skylights were a huge problem and we had to redo much of their work.

We had a small leak around a skylight, and needed the gutters cleaned, and some small flashing on the chimney. Mountainview installed the roof 6 years ago but Lou purchased the company 3 years ago so he claims no responsibility for any work done prior to 3 years ago. He told us he it would take an hour or two and he would take care of it within a week. After the first 4 weeks rolled past, he told us there were a few rain delays and then later told us he only was working on the jobs that pay the rent. After 7 weeks and several conversations, we hired someone else who fixed all the issues in 2 hours. The irony is that the improper flashing on the skylight and chimney was done while Lou was an employee, and now he's the owner and never showed up to fix it, and washed his hands of all responsibility. I wouldn't hire him to change a light bulb, as you would be in dark for ages.

It went great. Quality work, excellent price.

Everything went well - no hassles

Entire job took 4 days. The crew was great, cleaning up each day before leaving. The whole process was well thought out and well executed. We were extremely pleased and have recommended them to several friends.

No Call back...... Doesn't matter how busy you are not to call back a potential customer.

They were excellent. It was 5 men and they worked really hard for 3 days. They left the place immaculate and were very nice people. I don't know how much the roofing job costs, but everybody told me it was perfect. They put copper slashing around the chimney and the roof looks great.

We had a leak in our sunroom and I called 3 roofers from Angies list. We told them we did not want a new roof, we only wanted the problem patched up for now. One company gave me a quote for patching up and an addtl quote for a new roof, they told us we had rotted wood, and a whole story about what we needed. Another company gave me a quote for a new roof only and said that was our only option. Louis from Mountainview Residential was the ONLY HONEST COMPANY who came. He came by to look at our roof the same day I called. He informed me that we would be ok for a few years without replacing our roof. He was surprised the other 2 companies did not inform us that our gutters were overfilled and that was the only reason we had a leak. He proceeded to get up on the ladder and did a quick gutter cleaning for us so we wouldn't have the problem again. He did not ask for money and he wasn't doing this to get work in the future (but I will definitely call him for my future roofing needs). We have not had the leak since Louis came. I was so glad he gave us honest information (over other companies that got good ratings on Angies List).

The whole thing was done quickly and well.

Mountainview did a full roof replacement. I was impressed with their work. Lou was very knowlegeable and provided a lot of advice during the estimate, was present while the work was going, and in the cleanup and walkthru. The final results look good and holding up well so far after a few thunderstorms. Time will tell. Cleanup was thorough although I did get a nail in a tire but I think caused by landscaping blowing astray one from the lawn to driveway a few days later. Overall was a very good experience which I was worried about especially for a big job. The price was spot on, actually better than others. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

My overall judgment about the work was that things went well. I would rate them highly and would use them again in the future if necessary.

Overall, the service went well. The roof has not had any problems/leaks. It was done a little bit slow, took a while to complete the project (two or three months). It was not a pressing job, but I did have to bug him a couple times to come. They did clean up properly, no trash, and didn't tear up my wife's plantings around the house.

It went very well. We had called several other providers, but none of them worked out. He came the same day he received the message and arrived on time. He assessed the problem and then repaired it within 20 minutes of his arrival; very prompt. He didn't charge for this service and he told me that if it were to ever leak again, he would fix it.

He's very good, but he is a small operation, so one of the problems that I had with Russ was that a few of his workers got sick. Because of that, he couldn't come out when he committed to come out. He's not a big shop, so if he's really busy, it might be hard to get him to do stuff in a timely fashion, but he's responsive. He kept me informed and the work was reasonably priced and done really well.

He was recommended to me by somebody. He did a great job and I was pleased with him. He came out quickly and he assessed the situation. He found out that there was a problem between the two layers of the roof and he fixed it.

i asked russell to remove our old tv antennae, no problem, did not charge me extra. he also removed the old vents that i had on the back of the roof, and repaired the wood sheathing below [5 old roof ventsremoved] and did a ridge vent along the top of the roof in its place [more effective roof venting and looks better than that old metal fan on the top of the roof

It went very good. We did have a problem with a spot that was leaking but they came out and fixed it right away. When I called them they came right out. They cleaned up every day when they were done working so at the end of the job you couldn't even tell they had been here.

Never showed up despite numerous promises.

MOUNTAINVIEW ROOFING COMPANY WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND DID EXCELLENT WORK. THEY WERE ALWAYS ON TIME AND CLEANED UP THEIR MESS AFTERWARDS. I WOULD HIRE THEM AGAIN TO DO MORE WORK.
