Renewal by Andersen of New Jersey - New York Metro

1) Renewal by Anderson doesn't show up on time. 2) Renewal by Anderson doesn't provide correct instructions for the homeowner. 3) Renewal by Anderson cannot measure correctly. 4) Renewal by Anderson cannot install moulding correctly. I work from home and can't "stand-by" waiting for a crew to show up late. I had asked what had to be done prepping for their arrival and I removed all window coverings and shades and anything within 3 feet of the windows. Pets were secured. I was told nothing on the OUTSIDE had to be removed. Well I had to remove the 3 flower boxes from the OUTSIDE of the front windows. Two different people from Renewal by Anderson measured the windows but the oak moulding was incorrect. Take a look at the photos of when they finally installed the oak moulding. The windows from Renewal by Anderson are great...everything else they do is terrible.

We have consistently been told Andersen are some of the best window. The sales guy came in and continue to beat that idea into our heads like a dead horse. It was so over the top and wasteful of our time, we considered bailing. Then he hot boxes you at the end to make a decision or else they walk. It's really an uncomfortable sales process. I would recommend getting other quotes first and then these guys if you want to consider them. Once we signed, the salesperson was really a disappointment. It was evident he really didn't know much about the install process. We never saw plans, as an example, ahead of the installation. Our original install date that was in the contract was also missed. Questions around permits were never fully explained. The team showed up to the install with two roofs for one window and not project manager and little command over the English language. We had to call in a troubleshooter from Andersen to sort it all out. The window is in and it looks good. For the amount of money we spent on the "top team", the level of customer support was average at best and the support we did get, we had to hound Andersen for. At several points during the process we questioned if this was even a legitimate process or if someone was just trying to take our money. The installers were fantastic and they did a professional job. They went out of the there way and I feel bad giving a bad review because of them...but leading up to the install...there is a real problem here.

Extremely happy with the product & installation. The A&A crew members, Pat & Chris were very professional, friendly & worked very efficiently. Sometimes installers will say “we’ll clean everything up but either don’t or do a sloppy job of it. In the case of Pat & Chris, their clean-up was very thorough & you would not have known they just finished a big installation. GREAT JOB Pat & Chris.

The process went smoothly, from the salesman, to the technician (proper measurements) to the installation performed by Greg Construction. I would specifically like to commend Greg Construction for a wonderful installation. The crew were polite, professional, clean and meticulous.

The contractor, Michael Kane, was on time, completed the work in a few minutes and left a clean area. The overall experience with Renewal by Andersen has been excellent.

Top notch performance, from start to finish. Window is so Spectacular; just what we ordered & more. So professional & preparation & clean-up outstanding. The Crew Name, Window Doors & More, LLC with Shawn Installing was just so “perfect” Could not have asked for more. Would recommend whole Heartedly.

Excellent. The crew of A. & A, Pat and Chris, were punctual, curtious, professional and friendly. They provided good information, and answered all of our questions. They were so neat, that when they were gone you wouldn’t even know that all of this work had been done, if not for the new doors and window. Very well done.

I have no complaints. Our windows look amazing. It looks beautiful. If possible, an A+ for them. If I needed them again, I will definitely use them. When the man came for an estimate, there was no hard selling made. The work people were nice, courteous, and very respectful. They got the work done quickly in just a day and a half.

Shawn an Mike worked professionally and their work habits were very neat. They did a great job and we were very pleased. They are very skilled workers. The doors are beautiful and we are very pleased with the product.

3 hours of high pressure sales tactics and offers of discounts that would vanish if I didnt sign contracts that day. This is very insulting to intelligent consumers. I was convinced the product is good and the work would be done correctly, HOWEVER, the price was outrageous....85,000 for 17 simple casement windows , discounted to 70,000 if I signed that day. WHOA! Had I done my entire house, including 3 bow windows, the DISCOUNTED cost would have been 120, 000. Somehow they calculate that using their windows should cost you 10% of the market value of home....??? NO THANK YOU

Alvarez & Sons did a perfect Job. 100% professionals. Clean proyect. They made aware of the job to be completed on time. Very Clean, like nothing happen. They replaced my old windows for new ones. Very pleased with the job Done

The process was flawless and the professionals who measured the doors and installed the doors were excellent. They completed the work timely and left the premises in excellent condition.

Was great! I love the quality of my new windows. I was lucky enough to get a coupon for previous customers that I took advantage of. My installation crew was very friendly and professional. Vito and Jose were great---even battling the recent snow storm to get my windows in without an issue and in a timely manner. I highly recommend them.

Sales team was pushy until the sale was finalized. Once order was placed, I coudn't get a response for weeks and only after multiple attempts to multiple contacts at the organization. Never recieved information I had requested. Never recieved confirmation on install date/time, but luckily had decided to hang out around the house on the day they had mentioned as a possible install just in case the installer might show up, which he did nice and early so that was good. The actual installer was fantastic, so he is the only saving grace for this entire transaction. If you do buy from this company, ask for Sean to do the install. However, the sales/measuring team sent him with the incorrect trim for the interior, so he had to leave the project incomplete and returned a week later with the proper materials to finish the install. Product is okay, probably appropriate for the price point. Install is good. Sales and Customer Service is beyond terrible. Would never recommend this particular center to a friend.

Very professional, efficient, neat and cleaned up after completely

Not to good, only have 3 windows replaced, 1 incorrect window and missing frames for the others. The other 4 windows is suppose to come in 3 weeks

They were excellent! They did a fantastic job on every window in the house including the ones in the attic. Our bay window gave them some issue but they called a supervisor who came right out and got that window installed. We did have a small draft issue this winter but they came right out and resolved the problem. They put down plastic to protect our home and wore little booties as well. They showed up on time, were extremely professional and cleaned up well. I just can't say enough good things about them.

Efficiently performed installation with exquisite results!

The workmen were OUTSTANDING! The were EXTREMELY professional and at the same time, friendly and approachable. They answered all of our questions without hesitation and when an issue occurred (wrong window sent), they quickly identified the problem and alerted us to it. They were very careful to protect our home from damage and cleaned-up after themselves exceptionally. Can't say enough about our installation team.
