It took I had originally purchased the $99 garage door tuneup. Navon came out and assessed the project. Considering that my garage door and motor were 20-25 years old, he suggested replacing both. A patchup of the existing system would have been in the $300-$400 range; an new system was about $1400, which included a new door, new motor, total replacement of springs and rollers. He showed me a catalog with several options. I elected to go one level up from the basic system, which included an outdoor keypad and an internet option. Navon did the work in two stages since he was missing a part, so the work took about a week plus. Navon also replaced some rotting wood at no charge. In addition, he brought a long ladder and cleared some ivy growing way up near the roof, also at no charge. Navon did exactly what he said he would (and a little more) at exactly the price he said he would. I have no hesitation recommending him for garage doors and general handyman jobs.

The entire experience started off very well. Within 5 or 6 hours of responding to a special deal to have maintenance done on my automatic garage door, I received an email from the company telling me to call them as soon as possible to schedule a visit from them. Since it was Labor Day weekend, I told them in my reply email that I would call them on Tuesday after the holiday. When I called that Tuesday, the person who answered the phone said that he couldn't talk with me then since he was on a job but if I could text him my name, address and phone number, he would get back to me ASAP. One week went by without hearing from anyone so I had to call back. The person who answered whom I recognized to be the person who had answered the phone the previous week made no apology about not getting back to me but simply went about setting a date when he could come out and perform the maintenance. The appointment was scheduled for September 14, 2013 at noon. As time dragged on I half expected that no one would show up however lo and behold at 1:20 p.m. 2 workmen arrived. Once again there was no apology for being late or not calling. I have to assume that the work was done although I didn't watch them. When the men were finished they knocked on my door to tell me they were finished and to advise me that I owed them an additional $ 24.00 for 2 additional rollers that were not covered by the special. I certainly felt that this was reasonable so I paid the additional money. Overall while I felt that the price was good, there were just enough issues that I feel would prevent me from using them again.

He broke a Saturday and a Monday appointment and I was working within his schedule, not mine.

Navon called to inform us that he could not make the appointment on the scheduled day. I confided in him about our real problem -he advised us that the problem was with the garage door opener & not with the dooe itself. So we bought a new opener and the problem seems to be solved. If at any time the problem restarts, we will definitely call Navon. He surely keeps in touch which is a great quality in service providers.

This was a great deal, I used to dread having to open the garage doors they made so much noise. Now the garage doors operate quietly and securely. The technician, Navon, also installed safety wires that we didn't realize were missing from the original installation and presented a significant safety hazard. He came out to perform this tune up within two days of my call and he was able to come out on Labor Day which worked really well for my schedule. Subsequent to this job Navon also helped us find the circa 1991 garage door remotes we needed as replacements.

Everything went as planned.

The two garage wood doors were very old and were removed off site by Navon who replaced them with two new 8x 7 doors along with two garage door openers. He worked by himself as his helper called out in the morning. The entire job took him 6 hours. He was very neat and the job was well done. Navon was very professional and he explained the maintenance required in order to keep the doors working perfectly. We are very happy with the end result and we will definitely recommend him to anyone.

The services is good, but the appointment was delayed 3 times due to the busy schedule of the provider. One time he cancelled the appointment without notice, we were waiting. One time he called 1 hours early to cancel it. The third appoitnement was rescheduled again to next day.

It was the first time I had used Angie's list to find a service provider. It was a very good experience. The provider was extremely pleasant, helpful, and professional and worked quickly and efficiently.

On September 4th after I came back from work and parked my car in the garage, my garage door broke down. As I was closing the door, I noticed it was making a weird grinding sort of noise and I realized that one of the cables was loose. After a couple of tries, I could not get the door to open electronically or manually. I had to travel out of state the next day on business; and I had to leave by 11 AM. But now with my car stuck in the garage, I was worried. So, even though this happened late in the evening (around 7:15 PM), I decided to go on Angie's List and see if I could get a hold of some one to come repair the garage door first thing in the morning. I called a couple of companies before I called Navon. He was the only one who picked up the call that late in the evening. He was very responsive and said that he will be able to come in the morning. Once he heard that I had to leave by 11 Am, he said he will try his best to be there and get the work done. As promised, he showed up around 10AM the next day and got to the repair quickly. He was done in approximately 20 minutes. I was pleased that I made the right decision to wait for Navon. I even had the time to write this review before I headed out. Thanks Navon.

Navon from Not Just Doors was great. He called me Tuesday and was here Wednesday to replace my garage door rollers. Everything went smooth and my garage door is much quieter. I wouldn't hesitate to call Navon the next time I need my door serviced.

It was good ; no complaints; has worked as expected for a week.

They were simply fabulous. He just immediately came and fixed the problem. He did it within a few minutes. He had all the tools in his car. They were very polite and respectful.

Hi, I placed an order with these folks and it almost took a month to install it. The installation went fine, however there was a hole between the floor and garage door which allowed for small objects to percolate. Navon came and took a look @ it, rather than informing or checking it during installation. Overall, i would have prefer more clear communication from the vendor Gar

My phone message was returned promptly and Navon came the next day as arranged. He was very courteous and professional and did the necessary work quickly and neatly. I would definitely use his services again.

Due to emergency need, he fit me in before his job the next day. He was here at the time scheduled, did the job quickly. (Replaced broken spring, set back on track etc. Good job, quick. reasonable.

I called "Not just doors" because one of the cable of my garage door snapped." Not Just doors" called 30 minutes before the appointment and confirmed that they will be there. Once they arrived Novan who is the owner gave clear estimates of the time and cost. He had come fully prepared with all the parts for repair. Since the equipment was 22 years old, I requested that it be replaced. I compared prices online and prices are very competetive. Both workers were very professional and corteous. All work was done as per estimate, on-time and as per satisfcation. They even broom sweeped all the debris from the garage and did a very clean job.

We were very happy with their work. I did not like the receptionist that answered the phone but that did not have anything to do with the work they did. The receptionist was not professional at all. He initially installed this garage door opener so we decided to use him again. He was the first person I saw to set up the garage door so that if the spring breaks that it would not go flying through the garage.

I discovered the garage door was broken when I was locked out of the house. Fortunately, my wife was home, so that was a minor issue. The larger issue was finding someone to come the next day to meet our schedule. Navon was helpful on the phone, and agreed to start his day early to meet my need to service. He and his helper called and arrived on schedule, had the required parts and did the job professionally and quickly. They cleaned up, took the broken parts and even did some minor trim repair that we noticed around the door. They did not try to 'upsell' my on a new doors or openers, although he did give me a quote on the openers when I asked for one. He also said he would call with the name of a good driveway business when I mentioned that the driveway was my next project. He called with that name within the hour of leaving my place. Overall, very pleasant, professional and competent. I intend to give him a good shot at replacing the door openers when that project makes it to the top of the list.
