Description of Work: Days after my initial phone, the company's admin provided a separate cell phone no. to contact one of business partners. He took time to call back, and scheduled a time on a particular day at 5PM. When contacted on 6PM of that day, he said he was at the emergency ward of a hospital. However, he showed up at 8PM with no sign of distress. As I showed him the masonry work needed to repair a wall at the basement along with detailed drawing by a professional engineer, he started a non-stop lecture proposing his way of doing the work and the need to alter the engineer's plan. The project needed approval from the township and thus required supervision or plan from a licensed engineer. A day later, I requested for price estimate for his work as a contractor and informed of engineer's willingness to change the plan as per his suggestion. He reiterated that the work must be conducted in his way, and he would quote after discussing with his partner. Over the weeks, he did not respond to my follow-up calls or messages, and then the very courteous admin informed that there had been some family situation or emergency that prevented them to mind their business! The garrulous partner was all over the map in making initial assessment of the work, and then he maintained total silence. I gave up on them.
