Roofing expert from More Core (sorry, don't remember his name) located and fixed a small roof leak by caulking it, at no charge. Repair held up for 2 years, so I would say that's pretty good.

Joe came to give estimate - saw the problem could be fixed quickly and did so without charging us anything. It rained since then and so far it has held up. I would use him when the time comes to replace my roof. He was patient and answered my questions.

These guys were the best priced. They even offered an angielist discount. Joe scheduled work at first clear day. Guys were at the house early, wrapped shrubbery and did a very nice job replacing roof. They also did a nice job with clean up. Only knock, few nails in gutter.

Josef from More Core was my main point of contact and he provided the estimate, ordered the materials and managed the the entire effort from beginning to end. Josef was a pleasure to deal with and was in total control of the project throughout. The roofers employed by More Core are skilled craftsmen especially Marshall who was the crew chief and mastermind of the roofing crew. The tear-off and re-roofing was done all in one day and the clean-up was impeccable. The crew that installed the metal roof were even better that the asphalt roofers if that is at all possible. The metal roof installation is a work of art and well worth the investment as it enhances the appearance of our home beyond expectation. The transformation of our home by More Core far exceeded our expectation and you can trust that they will do a quality job with outstanding workmanship. Joe was very responsive, punctual and courteous. He came to the house to estimate a skylight replacement cost. He found a gap in the glass gasket and took the initiative to seal it right on the spot. Great service. Very profesional. I will be sure to call back, if needed.

Howard called and was extremely rude and unhelpful to a first time home buyer looking for help after a home inspection found some work needing to be done. He even asked if we wanted a "patch job" done!? Very unprofessional. Don't bother calling these guys.

More Core Construction did a wonderful job on my steeply pitched roof. Joe is the consumate professional. He spent time helping me choose the best color to match my stonework, and gave me plenty of refences to check out other work he's completed in my neighborhood to double check color accuracy (when compared to samples shown in a book). My roof looks beautful, his team were prompt and very hardworking professionals. Even when I had an issue, Joe did whatever it took to resolve the matter to excellent standards... Would recommend this company any day!

The work went excellent so much so that I referred them to my family and they had them do their roof also and were extremely satisfied. Darren the owner was excellent and very personal He made sure everything was done to our approval and was very approachable. Would have him do more work when we need it.

Working with Darren Mishan was super easy. He was friendly and we primarily communicated using text messages. To investigate a slow, occasional roof leak, Darren and I first met up to walk around the house and visually inspect the roof together from the ground. His trained eye pointed out tiny ridges and imperfections that I had never noticed. He later returned on his own, when the weather was cooperating, to make the repair. He texted a photograph of the specific issue and made a simple repair at no charge. I would absolutely work with Darren again when it comes time to replace the roof.

Project went great Joe was terrific! Everything went smoothly and on schedule. Team was very professional and did a nice clean job. I'm very pleased with the work that was done. We definitely recommend them!

I had three estimates from good sound company's for my roof replacement. I thoroughly researched all three. Two existing roofs had to be removed, the skylight was to be replaced and new gutters. Not an easy job. The Co-owner Joe was very impressive. He thoroughly explained what would be done & how they intended to complete the job. The job took 12 hours in a very hot setting. I was present outside during the entire job. It's hard to believe another company could have completed this job as great as Morecore. I'd say if you use another company you're not going to get the excellent price & quality workmanship that was performed on my home. Not only was it a fantastic job, Joe beat all of the competitors by $600.00 to $1200.00. This company goes the extra mile to ensure the job is done correctly & efficiently. They even put a tarp over my pool so no debris could accidently fall into it. This is a very qualified company & I highly recommend them for your roofing job, skylight & gutters.

They didn’t clean up after themselves in the attic, but outside they did fine.

Joe was able to come out same day and advised the roof was OK just needed a couple quick fixes in a vent and some low lying nails. He did the corrections and said no charge. we sincerely appreciate his professionalism, coming out as soon as we were available (and he) and doing a few things to hopefully fix the issue. Will keep an eye on it for the next rain. but based on this experience alone, we appreciate everything he did for us. we called other roofers prior and got the run around and even some no shows. hopefully we do not need to call Joe again but, if we do, we will not hesitate. thank you!

So far so good. They left few cosmetic issues, came back to fix some of them.

Very well, job was delayed a bit due to weather, but once they got going, it took a day and a half to complete.

The roof job completed in two days as promised. The work was done very well and they delivered everything they promised. The crew and managing partners were very professional. Even the dump truck was hauled away the same day they completed the job. All and all I was very satisfied. What followed is what really impressed me and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone. The professionalism, willingness to solve problems, and care about their customer is pretty remarkable. The managing partner I dealt with is Joe. A few weeks after the work is done, after a good rain storm I found that the newly installed big (8 feet wide, 30 inches tall) skylight was leaking on the corner. I e-mailed Joe with pictures and he immediately responded that he will come by to see the leak. Later he came with his crew and even though it appears the leak is through the skylight structure not the roof covering, he nevertheless tore down and reinstalled the shingles on that section to make sure it is not an installation issue. He asked me to observe and tell him if that fixed the leak. A few days later I contacted him that it did not resolve. He called the skylight manufacture and came with their engineer to examine the leak. The engineer agreed that it does not look to be an installation issue but can't tell how exactly water can get through. He suggest Joe to cap the corner of the skylight and they ran a water hose test and it seems to have fixed the problem. Few more weeks passed by and I did not see any visible leak until a few days of soaking rain, where I see it was still leaking, albeit at a slower rate. So I contacted Joe again ... To make an already long story short, Joe end up having the manufacture fabricate another one and spent another 3 hours to install it. I hope this solve the issue once and for all. But regardless, I am truly impressed with just the way Joe handle this matter. No push offs, no excuses, and not even a delay in responding to my inquiries.

If you need siding and/or roofing, Hire More Core Construction NOW !!!! The guys who did my siding and roof were amazing. Their expertise and professionalism were beyond great ! I had absolutely no issues whatsoever with the workmanship and their work ethic. They were here early morning and stayed until almost dark and cleaned up every time they were here. They answered all my questions and concerns. It's hard to find this kind of work these days. My house looks great.

Darren was awesome! He provided us a detailed explanation of what work needed to be done. Even when we decided to go with a different roofer (I wish we hadn't), he came back over to show us exactly what to look for (materials, labor etc...). More core by far sets a high standard for professionalism and respect for their clients.

I contacted More Core Roofing on Thursday, March 23, 2017, with an emergency concern that a flying squirrel was trying to enter my attic through a corner soffit. At 11:00 am that day, Darren promptly arrived. Darren nailed a 2 x 4 wood panel behind the soffit to prevent the squirrel from entering. Additionally, Darren checked all soffits around the perimeter of the house and nailed the soffits that were loose and susceptible to animal entry. He took a blower and cleaned the entire roof. The problem was solved immediately. A few days later Darren called to make sure there were no additional problems, and there were none! Darren is professional, courteous and knowledgeable, and I would highly recommend More Core Roofing with any type of animal-related roofing concern.

The sales rep, Howard Kuker, was great to work with as was Darren, who oversaw the actual job. The crew was punctual and professional . One problem with a sprinkler head was resolved. Cleanup was thorough.

This a contractor, I had an emergency, I had a roof leak and they told me a few times you know I made appointments with them to come out and I made appointments and they just never showed up. Just sort of left me standing outside on different days. All the while, I had a leak that I needed addressed, and I could have had, you know what I mean gotten someone else to do it, and there was another company that actually did the same thing. Both from Angie's List. I ended up having more damage because I waited on these guys and I will probably never use Angie's List again. They were supposed to come out and meet me. It was raining, I made an appointment for them to come out and meet with me the next day after it stopped raining and stuff. I didn't expect them to go look on a roof while it was raining. I went there at our meeting time, and I waited and then I called the guys phone and I just got no answer. I called the business phone, I called the cell phone, and I just got no answer. The one phone I guess his wife answered, and then I moved on. Then I just ended up finding someone else. Keep their appointments and to you know return phone calls. If you're not going to show up, just let me know I'll go find somebody else, it's no big deal but don't make me drive to go meet you. He left me standing around for almost two hours for him.

First of all, I was amazed that the entire job was completed in one day! The dumpster was dropped off the night before, so there wasn't any waiting down time on the day of the job. The installation crew arrived very early and went right to work (unloading their tools , preparing the job site area, etc) The crew consisted of five men. there was not a lot of verbal communication. They all knew what they were suppose to do and they went directly about doing it. As soon as the materials arrived, installation began. Besides an occasional water , the crew only took one break ( afternoon lunch). Hard working, focused and skilled...good guys! Everything, and I mean everything was completed well before sundown. The new roof looks great! The clean-up was impeccable, (even the dumpster was removed from the driveway by 8 AM the next day) Wonderful job! As far as the pre-job discussions went...there were absolutely no "surprises". Every aspect of the job that we discussed came about. Nothing was "forgotten". There were no call backs. There were no extras to the agreed upon cost of the job. A deposit was required, but full payment was remitted only after the job was finished and there was total satisfaction. I can't stress this enough...the price was the price! The two supervisors ( Joe and Darren) were knowledgeable and personable. there wasn't any "high pressure" salesmanship. Joe was the contact to appraise and sign the job and Darren was at the jobsite (not all day, but as needed through-out the day) Both were very easy to speak with and both took the time to explain the scope of the job. I have been around industrial construction for many years. Three things that you look for...agreed upon price versus final price...workmanship at the job site...satisfaction with the final product. More-Core Roofing gets the highest marks for all three!

I received a recommendation of More Core from another contractor who I had used for a bathroom renovation (also on Angie's List) for a roofing and siding repair job. When I called More Core I was told that the owner and the contractor who referred me were good friends and I should call him directly. I called the owner, Ralph, explained what I was looking for and asked if he was interested in doing a repair job (many roofers want only replacement jobs). He assured me he was interested. I told him I had an inspection report with photos showing the problems and he said to EMail that to him and he would contact me the following day. I EMailed the report and waited. Several days later I called Ralph and left a voice mail asking him to let me know if he was still interested. I followed this with an EMail asking the same thing. Approximately a week later I left a second voice mail. No response. This is by no means the first time a contractor has not responded either initially or even after giving an estimate, but it doesn't get less annoying. Is a phone call or EMail saying they don't want to do the job too much to ask?
