Jersey Steamer

Jersey Steamer from Neptune did a super job, well beyond my expectations. The white grout was so bad it was just about black before they started. When they were done, it was as white as the tile. The two techs that came were incredible professional, but down to earth. Before they started, they explained what they were going to do and how I should maintain the tile and grout lines afterwards. They also told me how to repair some missing grout in a few spots and how to find a good color match. They even wore shoe covers the entire time they were in my house.

My kitchen floor looks great....However, my 2 bathroom floors are TERRIBLE!. I called them to advise I had a white cloudy film left on both bathroom floors that I couldn't remove. The woman who took my call said it happens, they will fix it. It appeared that dirty water had dried on the tiles, but I could not get it off. They were very responsive and returned a week later. They scrubbed with heavy pads, and some type of paste. After they left and it had dried, it was better, but STILL had cloudy film on tiles. I also noticed several tiles were now chipped from all the scrubbing. I called again, they made another appointment. The day before the appt., they called to reschedule, claiming the manager wanted to see the problem, because they were always able to fix it after 1 try. Manager can out with a crew and they tried something he called industrial remover. He closed the bathroom doors when done, and told me not to walk on it for 30 minutes. He also told me I shouldn't walk on the bathroom floors in bare feet because the oil from your feet can mark the tiles!! ARE YOU FOR REAL- THESE ARE BATHROOMS!! I waited the 30 minutes, and realized why we felt they closed the doors and ran out. Nothing was corrected. My 2 bathroom floors-only 7 years old are now chipped in several places, and look like dirty water is dried on most of the tiles.. I emailed them, and to be fair, they did issue a full refund. However I think it will cost me a lot more than the $149 deal price to have all the damage repaired.

First of all - the results- my 15-20-year old tile and grout looks like it did when first installed. We have hand-made tiles with a natural stone look in our kitchen and an irregular surface that had accumulated dirt over the years. I cannot believe how great it looks now. Second - the service: two technicians came to our house, arriving right on time. They put tarps down on my wood floor and rugs to keep the, clean. They wore "booties" over their shoes. They were pleasant and professional. The individual who answered the phone when I called was also pleasant and helpful. I am very pleased with the service and will use them again.

They came on time, picked up 2 rugs, kept them for 6 months while the house was renovated and returned them in terrific condition.

It went very well. They're competent and very polite and went right to work. They did what they came for and the tile did look better and I couldn't imagine a better people to have had in my home doing that. I was very pleased with the timing. The price was what we agreed upon. I was very pleased. They're very professional and they were right on time.

Nice job and quite satisfied. They were able to squeeze us in at the last minute based on our tight scheduling needs (right before moving in and after other contracting work was wrapping up). Good price, good service. Will use again in the future. Thrilled to have been able to find and use a great local business with better rates than the large national commercial chain that drives around in yellow trucks :)

They didn't address the grout issue in fact i was told by the men who showed up that they did not do grout at all. the service was not what i ordered and the way they advertised the service was misleading and way too much for what they did.

This company was very responsive to my phone call, the quote was provided over the phone and service was scheduled within a few days. The gentlemen arrived on time, and quickly got to work. They spot cleaned and steam cleaned the carpeting, moving the light furniture as they worked. They worked well as a team, were professional and efficient. The carpeting looks fantastic.

Jersey Steamer is pretty good. The price was good. It was a special. The service was excellent. There were no problems, whatsoever. They were very prompt. I would tell a friend that they're good.

They were great. There were some deep stains and they got them out. They are very reasonable and professional and I am definitely happy with them.

I bought 300 sq ft. for .50 a square foot and then to finish was another 270 sq. ft. at $1.00 a square foot. I was very pleased. Didn't realize I had so much square footage, but I thought they did a great job.

The technicians were on time and extremely professional. Both technicians introduced themselves.. I was informed as to what was going to be done to the floor before they began, and when finished, told how to maintain it. Made sure the wood floor in the family room was covered so it would not get wet. The technician was very thorough in making sure all of the water on the floor had been removed. You could see that they really took pride in their work. I had only requested my kitchen be cleaned, however since the price was to clean 300 square feet the technician asked if he could clean the laundry room floor as well. I immediately agreed. I also said I would pick up the carpets ,etc. but he said they would do that for me. (Some companies would have just cleaned the kitchen.) I was very impressed with them.

Overall good job as noted above. Some confusion over what we wanted and what they offered. When we replied to the offer and talked to them over the phone we thought they would pick up the carpet but when they came they said the deal was for in house cleaning only. Taking the carpet out to clean essentially doubled the price but it was still less expensive than some other services were quoting so we went ahead with the higher price.

I made the payment back in April and contacted via phone the provider. I asked could this be done for Kitchen and 2 bathrooms if within the 300 sq ft and was told yes. I explained I lived in Eliz NJ and the provide said not a prob. I gave my condo apt number and they said would be able to come once I knew date. I scheduled for June 13 and on that day I got a call from the provider. They person said they could not do the job as the vacuum that is within the van could not reach my floor? Nor could they park in garage area without issues. I was told to just get a refund. I have contacted Angies list and they mentioned the due date for refund is past. But the provider is the one who could not do the job. Not sure why the provider did not specify they could not do condos? Or could they but not with the van they had ETC?

It was a very good experience starting with the phone representative who was very helpful with scheduling the work and arranging for the most efficient use of our Angie's prepaid service. In addition, they were available at short notice. I was concerned because I needed the work done within a short time frame and the previous vendor - contacted through Angie's list as well - could not do the work within my time frame. So I was very pleased to learn that Jersey Steamers would be able to do the work right away. The day of the scheduled cleaning went smoothly as well. They showed up right when they said they would; assessed the work, pretreated the carpets with stain and oil removers and did a nice job with steam cleaning and deodorizing the carpets. The work was done promptly and efficiently by two young guys who were very courteous and professional. Our rooms were easy in that there was not a lot of furniture so they were able to do the work in record time. The price was spectacular - we got an Angie's List special price for 4 bedrooms for $99. -the stairs were extra - approximately $36.00. The other thing I was impressed with is that they used totally green products, safe for children, pets, and the environment. We will definitely use this firm again and recommend them to friends and neighbors.
