Energy Aide, Div. of Coastal Windows/Doors/Exteriors

Do not use Energy Aide for replacement windows! The rep that came out to measure my windows measured incorrectly by one inch. He assured me that they could build out that one inch space and that it wouldn't be a problem. The piece of wood they placed in the space below every window has rotted out. In addition they did not seal and insulate around the windows. So every winter I have to jam paper towel into the tracks on the sides of the windows to try to keep the cold air and wind to come through the windows. I had siding replaced and the contractor showed me this shoddy work. I have a lifetime guarantee on the windows from Energy Aide that states. "Energy Aide guarantees all workmanship for as long as you own your home! All guarantee work is 100% free covering both the cost of labor and materials. We will repair or replace anything found incorrect due to the original installation." I called and the owner refused to fix the horrible installation workmanship! Horrible service! Do not use Energy Aide for replacement windows. Not only did they install the windows improperly, they DO NOT back up their work! I am now replacing my windows with Anderson with a professionainstaller.

The replacement of windows in my condo was PERFECT. We decided to use them again, due to being trustworthy and their craftsmanship. That was the worst decision I've ever made. We decided to complete the roof first. Energy Aide failed to inform us that they hired a subcontractor to actually perform the roof. They used poor judgement in staffing, and only had 1 person on my ~2500 sq ft roof. I was away on business, and they failed to tarp the roof before completion. There was a bad rain storm, and no surprise we had significant water damage. To skip the details in between, it still took them longer than normal to complete the roof. There was several instances I had to call them back to tarp the roof because they failed to complete it in a timely fashion. I am having a minor issue with the roof now (thank god no interior leaks.) Energy Aide fired the subcontractor, and they're "not on speaking terms." So it's up to me to hunt the subcontractor and have them fix the job. To make matters worse, I'm having some issues with my skylight. As they were hired to do my windows, they inspected the skylight, and found it in good/like new condition. To inspect it, I am getting the run-around. For the window replacement (21), it took them 5 days. The original job was slated for 1-2 days. I had to call them back, to fix several issues, as they were uneven, and not caulked properly. All in all, DO NOT USE ENERGY AIDE. They failed to complete both jobs properly, and failed to meet their deadlines. They made poor decisions in staffing and management, and as a result, my residence incurred significant damage. To be fair, they were honest and cooperated with the insurance investigation. In conclusion: should you use Energy Aide? ABSOLUTELY NOT. Honest? Yes. Trustworthy? 50/50. They don't take ownership of their failures. This review is honest, and not embellished. As a repeat customer that has spent quite a few pretty pennies, this experience was horrific.

The repair went amazingly well. I called Energy Aide on Memorial Day 5/27/19 (Seriously! A HOLIDAY!) I left a message and within a few minutes, Tony called me back. I didn't get back to Tony until the following day, 5/28/19. He told me he would be able to go see my rental property the next day (5/29/19.) On 5/29/19 Tony called me and, as promised, he had been to my property, assessed the situation, sent me pictures, and provided the cost immediately. He said he would do his best to get out there soon because he understood my concern for the safety of the tenants in the building. On 5/30/19 Tony called me to let me know the project was COMPLETE! REALLY! What company actually does what they say anymore? And a 1-day turnaround time?! Unheard of! Tony is a man of his word. He made me feel at ease, heard my concerns, and took the steps necessary to make things right at my property. I cannot stress enough how pleased I am with Energy Aide and with Tony personally. I would recommend Energy Aide, and Tony to anyone looking to do work on their home, You can bet I'm going to be calling them any time I need work done.

If you’re looking for a company to side your house, look no further than Energy Aide! From the first meeting with the owner, Tony, I knew that this was the company I wanted to go with to do my job. Tony met with me and answered all of my questions very thoroughly and patiently. He even told me that we did not need to replace the gutters, soffits or fascia. Since they were still in very good shape, we only needed to power wash them. He stayed in touch with me throughout the process to update me when there was a delay with the start date due to bad weather we had had, which delayed the job prior to mine. When the job began, the workers were on time, proficient and friendly. They worked hard and I always felt comfortable going to them with any questions I had because they were very polite and never made me feel like I was bothering them. From start to finish, Tony was there every step of the way. He was patient and professional. He took so much time answering my questions so I knew what to expect through every facet of the project. He was also available evenings and weekends via phone or text. Glenn was the site supervisor who lead a crew of courteous professionals who were perfectionists. They worked hard through the day and barely took breaks. Glenn suggested that if I was planning to change light fixtures, it should be done during the project, which saved me from hiring someone to do it later. Overall, this company provides high quality will excellent customer service.

The representative inspected my two attic spaces to determine if I would need their product. After answering many questions as to whether or not I needed to do anything to my home to minimize heat loss in the winter and keep cool in the summer, the rep concluded that I didn't need any work done on the house. He then inspected every external area to determine if there were any trouble spots and he found none. His honesty and integrity was very impressive. I've hired many contractors that either didn't do a quality job or added work to existing jobs in order to pad their profits. This contractor didn't want to perform unnecessary work even if it meant his only profit was a consultation fee. I'd highly recommend this company.

I hired Energy Aide to blow-in insulation in my attic. Andrew was on time, professional and very easy to work with. The price was very fair and the results of the added insulation were felt immediately. I would highly recommend Energy Aide for anyone looking to add warmth and comfort to their home in this especially cold winter.

Provider finally contacted me and did the inspection. They suggested installation of additional insulation over existing insulation. I felt it to be expensive. In additional the insulation is blown in and I am not sure about that type of insulation. I chose not to have the work done. The representatives from the company were very nice and not the least bit pushy. I appreciate that.

Tony, of Energy Aide, knew the particular shake we needed. (Nailite, I think). He's been in this business for a long time. He knew there was a mold saved! And he knew the person, at the company, who saved the mold! Energy Aide was able to find our out of date shingle & match it to our existing shingles. Tony told us that the newer shingle would have a pinker hue & would weather in time. (To match the older shingles) They did the replacement & it matches perfectly! I'm an artist, so I know color. You would never know that we had a door & steps there! The color matches perfectly & the alignment of shakes match perfectly. (We still have to fix the cement foundation) The team of men, who completed the work was great. They were on time & very nice. They cleaned everything up & removed all of the trash. This company was great & I found them on Angie's List. I recommend highly them. We are very happy.

The job started in few days after we signed a contract. It was completed in 10 business days. Everything we discuss were installed and connected. We are very satisfied with new siding and doors. It is a pleasure to deal with Tony Leone. We are defenetly recommend this company for siding and doors replacement projects.

I am very happy with the job that was done. My house looks like new. Tony from Energy Aide was very good to work with. Explained everything in detail throughout the whole process. He was also very good with communicating during the job.

The father owns the business and the son did the work. They were both good. We asked a lot of questions over the phone and answered all the phones. They blew the installation in the attic and it was not done properly, but they came back out and drilled new holes and fixed the problem. They explained what we should do in the following years and never tried to sell us. I am thinking about using them again for windows.

Tony and his team did a full analysis of all possible places for improvement from the basement to the roof, some suggestions that I could do myself to save money! In the end, after opening existing access ways of my upstairs walls and looking at my ceiling (a few inches below my roof) the assessment was that the walls were sufficiently insulated and while the roof could be further insulated doing so would not retain any more warmth than present. I will not have any work done. It's time to paint the room!
