+ -1 more***** service.A window film installed by a now defunct business ripped. I called Marco and he told me what information I needed to provide to him so that he could replace the film. He came the next day and told me that the film was most likely under warrantee and he would call the manufacturer. Marco took care of everything for me. He called and told me that the manufacturer would honor the warrantee; he ordered replacement films. When they came in, he called to make appointment to install. He arrived exactly on the hour appointed, installed the film-all at no charge!! He gave me the most professional service without charging me anything. I would recommend East Coast Window Films in a minute. Don't bother looking elsewhere.
Description of Work: Marco installed window film provided from the manufacturer of a previous vendor. He gave me the same service as if he was covering my entire house with windows. He was great.

He not only made the work look easy, but installed the window film quickly and was very caring as to the floor and curtain around the window. Marco also was informative. + -1 moreMarco returned my call almost immediately and we discussed the job and options. He came to my home to measure and showed me the different tints available and prices for each. Once I chose what I wanted, Marco took a check for half and ordered the materials. He called and was back the day the material was delivered to him and installed the film. Marco was easy to get hold of and returned all calls immediately, keeping me up to date on delivery and installation. He was polite, easy to talk to and did the job quickly taking care not to make any mess at all. The windows and doors are all oversized so the cost was a bit more than average but well worth the cost. I no longer have to close blinds to keep out the sun. The film he recommended keeps the heat out and lets me enjoy my view without having to worry about fading and using extra AC. All in all, an excellent experience. I would definitely recommend East Coast and Marco Ortiz.

After doing research on the types of tint and knowing this was going to be more expensive than your typical (regular) tint, I called East Coast to come by and give a quote. When it comes to things like this, it's not all about who can give the absolute lowest price. While I want a fair price... the quality of the work is more important. It's my house, so I want a quality job .... one that looks good and will last for a long time. Marco came by on-time and after discussing the various options and providing a quote, I decided (on the spot) to move forward. A week later ... again right on time ... Marco came by and applied the tint to the windows. After a few weeks, I re-inspected everything and saw that bubbles was on one of the windows. I called Marco, and he came back and replaced it ... no hassles, no asking for more money ... just a smile on his face and a replacement (which looks great.) As I was very happy with his work, I had them tint my automobile - also a great job at a fair price. So, all in all -- I am a very satisfied customer and would recommend them without hesitation.

+ 0 moreAll went very smoothly. Marco arrived as scheduled to discuss options with us, was prepared, patient, and knowledgeable, all without being pushy. He came out to apply the film the following week. He had the correct film, all he needed for the job, and the measurements - all very professional. He worked steadily, carefully and efficiently, even worked around the "animal-location-shifting" that I needed to do. The film has only been up a few days (which have been mostly overcast/rainy) so I haven't yet had much chance to enjoy the heat reduction, but what I have been able to see is that he film's application was impressively neat & exact, and the view has not been impaired, which was one of our original concerns. + 0 moreWe purchased the Angie's Big Deal for window tinting from East Coast Window Films. Marco was exceptionally professional and had a number of options available for us and was very knowledgeable about the differences in costs and benefits for each sample. Marco also provided before and after pictures from previous installations, which was extremely helpful. The film selection process was very easy and Marco was to schedule the installation within a week of the selection and quoting of the work. I actually had to make a change to the windows that needed to be covered, and Marco was able to accommodate without any issue or delay. He arrived at the scheduled time with all of the equipment that he needed. His time estimation for completing the work was accurate and he went right to work. We couldn't be happier with this purchase - the Huber Optik film has dramatically improved the comfort of our living room which has a bank of south-facing windows. We are currently budgeting to have windows on our second floor covered as well, and will use East Coast Window Films complete this work.

+ 0 moreMarco was wonderful. I called to request information on the services he provided and he was helpful and knowledgable about answering all of my questions. He immediately scheduled a time to come out and provide an estimate and show me the different options we had. He arrived on time and walked me through all of our options. We decided to get the frosted film that would allow light in but prevent viability into the garage. He immediately got to work prepping the windows and scheduled a time to come out for the installation just a few days later. He was very flexible on the time and worked around my schedule even when I had a last minute change. He had to cut the films to fit the individual panes and did a fantastic job. The windows look great and you can't even tell they are white frosted from the outside which was important for us because of HOA guidelines. We would definitely use his services again!

Marco's years of experience quickly became quite apparent as he steadily progressed from window to window within my home. Marco was very considerate of my home and even laid down a work tarp beneath the window he was working on to catch all the trimmings. He was very careful to thoroughly clean the glass, my window sills, and to clean up each work area before proceeding to the next window. Marco's attention to those little details made sure there was no big mess left in my home by the time he completed the last window. The installation went steadily, very smoothly and with very little disruption to household routines. The difference with the Infra-red Heat Blocking film was immediately apparent. The difference could be felt as the sun streamed into my home through adjacent treated windows and as yet untreated windows. By the time the last window was completed, my home had not heated up by mid-day as I had come to expect previously. Everything was left in as good and even better condition than when Marco arrived. I fully expect to continue to reap the future benefits of not having the blazing Florida sun battling with my utility bills to keep my home comfortable. Marco takes a well earned sense of personal pride in his craft. In these days that is a rapidly vanishing commodity. When I asked him about whether a trivial sliver of untrimmed film on a pane would affect the performance of the film, he replied that "he would personally know about it" and he proceeded to lift the film and trim the film to a clean edge. That is the pride of a true craftsman. I would highly recommend Marco's professionalism, experience, and attention to detail to anyone wishing to improve the comfort level of their home.
Description of Work: Marco responded very promptly by phone to my online request for a Free Estimate. We arranged a time on April 2 for him to come out. He arrived on time, which is very important to me, and he did a very thorough job of measuring all window surfaces that I wanted to have protected with Infra-red Heat and UV blocking film. He was very experienced with the properties of all the various products available. He asked detailed questions and made suggestions based upon my requirements of utility costs savings, appearance, installation time, and duration of any expected disruptions to regular household routines. After discussing all my special considerations, Marco gave me a very fair estimate of the cost and time it would take to complete what I wanted to have accomplished. After the detailed installation agreement specifying all window surfaces to be covered was completed, I made a customary deposit for materials costs in order to schedule the installation. The coupon was $129.00 for 250 sq ft. I had to pay an extra $30.00 which I found a bargan. Gave him his check and he left. Very nice person. I recommend Marco to all.
Description of Work: Very pleasant experience. Came on time. Did a clean perfect job. Windows look great. This is spring not real hot yet. Won't know how good the tinting is until summer. This is south Florida.
