We used Anthony from the neighborhood handyman to replace our light fixture in the kitchen. We have used this company in the past for other services. They are wonderful to work with, starting with Rose who schedules the work. Although this was a minor job, we were scheduled very quickly. Anthony is friendly and talented. He quickly and neatly completed the work. We highly recommend them and plan to definitely use them again .

The Neighboorhood Handyman are awesome! They came out immediately to fix the plumbing and electrical in my first home! They are super reliable and extremely friendly. I would recommend them to anyone looking for home improvements.

I was made aware of The Neighborhood Handyman from my son, who recently bought his first home and hired them for numerous tasks, which he was thrilled with the results. So, when my wife and I recently moved into our new home we hired them, too, and we couldn’t be more thrilled with their work. We are especially ecstatic with the results of their idea on how to re-hang a door to make it functional again. We have many more tasks upcoming for The Neighborhood Handyman crew (Anthony, Dylan, Steve and Rose)!

Great , I had a quote with in a couple of day's. Work started quickly after quote was accepted. Mike did a great job cutting angles for a tricky stair well in the basement. He is very neat and clean. The Neighborhood handyman was very easy to work with, They helped accommodate with our families crazy schedule.

I reached out 10/12 and spoke with Rose who scheduled Steve to come out 10/22 (10 days later). Steve never showed and never called. I would not recommend using this service at all.

The service isn’t available until January.

FANTASTIC! Had it done 6 months ago. They carefully leveled it, mounted the drywall, and primed/sanded it so it was ready for painting. My painter was working on other parts of the house and he said it as equal to the best he has ever seen. Recently, he hired them to do drywall in his house. They will be the first person I call when we are ready to redo our kitchen.

I brought my home a year ago which had an encased 30ft exhaust line, which clogged and rotted. The guys re-configured pipe (made it less than 10ft), re-used some of the old wood with new wood peices to encase the new pipe. They also replaced rotted dry wall. The guys did a great job, were easy to work with and creative in getting the work done!

Steve and his crew did a wonderful job. They installed all the windows and even did some very nice detail work in the dining room where the bench seat under the big window needed to be replaced, They came up with a nice solution to make the new window look perfect even though it wasn't exactly like the 50 year old window we were replacing. After discovering that one of the windows had been broken sometime during delivery, we had to schedule another visit to install the last window. They were able to install it within days of the new window being delivered. Rose does the scheduling and she was a pleasure to work with. All in all, a great experience.

These folks actually return phone calls, show up for estimates and the actual scheduled work ON TIME. They installed/painted 2 pre-hung bedroom doors, 3 sets of closet doors and replaced damaged ceiling sheetrock in preparation for selling our home. The business owner, Steve, is extremely knowledgeable and friendly and helped me find various items throughout the house that would need further attention prior to listing it for sale a few months from now. We'll be scheduling further projects with them as we progress closer to listing. Rose handles the business end in the office and handles all the phone calls, billing and scheduling in a friendly, helpful and timely manner. The crew that came to perform the work were on time , extremely personable, knowledgeable and professional...they were an absolute pleasure to have in our home. They did outstanding work and then cleaned up meticulously. I would (and will) hire these folks again... in a heartbeat, as we move closer to selling our home.

From the first day the process went smooth from start to finish. I had water damage that required the removal of ceiling in two rooms that had fans and lights. While they were working I added on kitchen back splash and they did not mind and added a couple days to the project. I had Mark working on the projects and I must say that he is extremely professional and knows his stuff. He was very polite and easy to talk to about any concerns. He was very insightful about different ideas. Mark made sure that this big of a project went smoothly and that my day to day was interrupted. I would recommend Mark and the Neighbor Handy Man.

I have hired The Neighborhood Handyman three times this year to install flooring, replace wood spindles on my porch, and other handyman services, Each time was a great experience. The work was completed promptly and I was very happy with the outcome. I will use The Neighborhood Handyman again.

We needed the work done at short notice and on a deadline. They were particular to accept the job only after evaluating and giving us an estimate. The price was not cheap but not unreasonable. The job changed and grew in scope as we discovered things to be done but they were very flexible and accommodated us the best they could. They were punctual, competent and respectful. All in all a pleasure to deal with and I wholeheartedly recommend their services.

Steve provided a great quote. Mark and Mike did a great job removing the damaged drywall and replacing it with new drywall. They were polite, worked hard and cleaned up the area nicely. Mike did a great job sanding and finishing. I'd recommend them and would use them again.

Beautiful tile work. Had my kitchen backsplash replaced, under cabinet lighting installed, and the walls skim coated after wallpaper was removed. Mark and Josh did a great job and they cleaned up each day before they left. Very professional and respectful of the items in my kitchen to make sure they didn’t damage anything. They checked in with me along the way to make sure what they were doing was what I was expecting. I need more work done around the house and will call them first.

Reliable, professional, fair pricing. Rose and Steve were a pleasure to deal with. Mike did the work and cleaned up so nicely afterwards. I will definitely hire them again!

Anthony came to replace my bedroom ceiling fan. The original repair date was 4/29. I got a call yesterday asking if they could come today. That was great news. Anthony arrived on time and started the job. He told us that the ceiling fan we had installed was not grounded. That was good to know because that fan could have caused a fire. Anthony did a beautiful job and we love the finished product. Anthony has done other jobs for us. He is such a nice young man. He cleans up and gives you suggestions for other jobs you ask him about. This contractor has worked for us for 4 years. Every job has been done according to the estimated work and on time. We have never had an issue. All the work done was done beautifully. We have had plumbing problems, they have done deck work, replaced a toilet, and several other jobs. Top notch handymen.

Steve and crew from the Neighborhood Handyman did an excellent job diagnosing and fixing a water leak in our dining room and garage. We had 2 separate leaks that needed to be fixed and the drywall repaired. The project required them to open some exploratory holes in the drywall, replace small sections of a vent and water pipe, then replace and repair the drywall. They also completed some other drywall repairs in the house. The guys were on time and professional. They also always cleaned up before they left for the day. I would use them again for my next project.

Our two-car garage was already partially insulated and drywalled when we bought our house, but we wanted to finish up the insulation and make it a more usable space for hanging out. Also, the door from the pass-thru laundry room to the garage opened the wrong way, in my opinion (why would you want both doors to the laundry room opening into it? You can't move in there!). After getting several outrageous estimates to do this, we found the neighborhood handyman. We asked for pricing by line item so that we could pick and choose what we wanted completed, and they delivered on that front with very fair prices. We ended up being able to complete everything that we wanted done -the garage was insulated, the drywall was finished, the walls and ceiling were painted, and a new fire door from the laundry room to the garage was installed. The guys who did the work showed up on time, and were so polite and knowledgeable. Rose, who called me to schedule the work and give the estimate, was so sweet. Steve stopped by often to make sure the work was done to our liking. They did a great job, and we love our new space. We will definitely hire again.
