Excellent! Frank is very pleasant and went out of his way to fit me in for a emergency same day project needed to close on my house sale on time.

Both workers ( Dave and Mike ) were pleasant, hard working and professional. They stayed on the jobs and cleaned up after the work was completed. The painting and floor look great and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again. Rose and Steve were also very easy to work with.

The estimated job was supposed to be just for re-tiling our shower. Unfortunately, we found extensive termite and mold damage in the wall studs once the tile was removed. Steve was very flexible about the added time and expense it would take to get this expanded job completed. The finished product far exceeded my expectations and both Steve and Mike were a pleasure to work with throughout the process.

Steve and Z were both friendly and punctual. They were honest about the costs and any problems that came up while working on the bathroom. The project is taking a little longer than originally expected, but I am very happy with the outcome thus far. We were so pleased with the Neighborhood Handyman that we are getting an estimate for our other bathroom to be renovated. They show up on time, respond to questions, are clean, friendly and do a terrific job! We are very happy with our decision to hire the Neighborhood Handyman.

Even though the project went longer than expected, it was due to the added complexity of the project. Steve and his crew kept to the estimate and did not attempt to charge more.

Made an appointment a week in advance to come out and give me an estimate for a small job ( drywall a 1/2 bath - estimate would probably take 5 minutes. They could only tell me they would be there between 8 am and 9:30 (I told them no hurry, I could wait for an appointment first thing but they said it had to be a 90 minute window). So I stayed home from work and waited. At 9 I get a phone message that they could not make it due to an "emergency". My experience with contractors is that those with " emergencies" seem to have a lot of them so I did not reschedule.

Work was done very well at a reasonable price.

The work never actually got done. I received an estimate that I thought was fair. I scheduled to have the work done but Steve cancelled last minute due to another job running late. I get it, it happens, so I rescheduled for another date however, that appointment never happened either as he was a no call/no show. I called to find out why nobody showed and was told that the job they were at ran late as they were waiting for parts. The office manager (Vanessa) did offer for them to come out on a weekend to work on my ceiling as the missed appointments were their fault. I chose not to reschedule though and asked to have my deposit returned.

Never showed, so it didn't go! Note: price for this review is what another company quoted for work. These guys never showed so can't say what their price would Haag

They arrived on time and were friendly, knowledgeable and personable. They completed the work quickly and efficently.

missed first appointment, waited 1 1/2 weeks for second appointment, then waited another 1 1/2 weeks to get the very high estimate. Then they want to schedule my work for july 1, another month to wait. They did it in step and left me moving into my new home without the safety handles for my mother and no blind on the window. 2 months in waiting time wrong to lead a customer a little at a time. should have told me there would be a 2 month wait and I could have moved on. This company gave no benefit to me belonging to Angie's list.

Steve and his crew were always very professional and never hesitated to answer any questions or special requests that I had. He kept me informed as he was completing the work and made it clear to me that priority #1 was my satisfaction. I would recommend him and his crew.

I hired them in the beginning of October, and they sent some who doesn't know how to do the work (in which he had to call to figure it out). They lied about several things on different occasions. Steve is out to do an estimates and not able to come out. I have called and called for them to come out and still have had no one came. I asked them to fix my garage door and have it come all the way down to the ground. In which then it locked me out of my garage completely. They wouldn't come back to fix it, and I had to cancel an appointment due to not being able to get my car out. I am thoroughly aggravated and very upset that all this has happened and thought the work would get done with such a top rated company. Pricing was very high. Always said they would come and never showed up repeatedly. I just want the work to be finished. I want my garage door to come all the way to the ground.

Steve Crass and his assistant, Carl, did a terrific job renovating both of my bathrooms while keeping one bath always fully available for my use. They were able to come up with creative solutions as unexpected issues developed, and made suggestions that turned out very well. In the master bath I wanted to replace the vanity without replacing the wall tiles, and they managed to do that even though the vanity top arrived with an integrated backsplash that wasn't supposed to be there. Replacing the sink in the second bath unexpectedly required careful reworking of the opening in the existing vanity cabinet, which Steve did beautifully. They also removed old linoleum, installed the new linoleum with lovely molding, removed wallpaper, painted both rooms, installed a new toilet and two new light fixtures. There were delays both to the start of the job and to its conclusion, but none of their making. I will definitely hire Steve again, hopefully in a less busy season.

Initially all my contact with them went extremely well. They were prompt, courteous and very professional. Came out and did the estimate. I received the estimate in the amount of time they said it would take. Also, I found it a little tacky that they said I was a little out of there normal service area and that there would be a $10 charge for the estimate. If I chose them it would get applied to the job. The problems came when I tried to hire them to do the job. My first attempt to hire them for the job I was told that they had an emergency and asked if it would be ok to put off my questions and date of service until after Thanksgiving. I've been calling and emailing for over a week without any return calls or emails. I just don't understand why if there is a problem with doing the job they can't act like professionals and let me know

The Neighborhood Handyman was the fourth contractor we contacted on Angie's List, and the only contractor that made time to give us a prompt estimate. Steve came out and met us after work to walk the house. We had a good discussion about how to address our issues and was able to save us some money as well by suggesting different solutions. Grace contacted us in a reasonable amount of time with a job estimate, and their price met our expectations. They started work about 1 month after the initial estimate and returned twice to complete the job. They were always on time and courteous. The first day, they even stayed later to make sure they got the first coat of compound up. They returned about a week later to finish the wall and stair. We're very happy with the results - the bottom stair is much more secure and the trim is well done. The walls upstairs, now that they're painted, look like they've always been there. The Neighborhood Handyman was responsive, inexpensive, and did quality work. We would definitely use them again.

All in all I was very satisfied with the work performed on my home. It was not a large or difficult job just window caulking. Unfortunately I did not know the mans name who came over to do the job but much to my surprise he was there ahead of time. I consider that a good thing rather than wait and wonder if the person is going to show up. He was a very nice guy and went right to work and wasted no time. I would use the Neighborhood Handyman again for any jobs that might pop up.

Terrific! They called back the next day, came over soon after to give an estimate - and scheduled the work soon after. Quality was very well done. We were very pleased with the work and they were very nice to interact with. We will definitely use them again!

It went very well, they also repaired the cement base for a post on my front patio. They were very courteous and professional. I plan on using them again in the future for other things I need done.

After a sight scheduling glitch (being bumped due to bad weather and other jobs that needed to be done before mine) everything was great. Chip did a great job and was easy to have in the house. He took his time, was detailed, and did a good job cleaning up after the job was done. They were not the lowest price but it's safe to say you get what you pay for and the work The Neighborhood Handyman provided for us was well worth what we paid.

Got a call back within 24 hours after making an inquiry to set up an estimate. Responsive, prompt, professional, courteous, including the work crew and even the office staff. What more could you ask for? Will definitely use Steve and his service for my future needs.

Things went very well. The company was very responsive to our initial request on Angies List and were able to get the job done in a very tight timeline. Chip was great to have in the house, very professional and did excellent work. He also cleaned up pretty well after himself!

Excellent job. I conrtacted the Neighborhood Handyman via email and I received a very quick response back. The Neighborhood Handyman arrived on time. The installer was friendly and conducted himself in a professional manner. He was very skilled and had an excellent knowledge base. They seemed to very much care about the quality of the work they do and I would definitely hire the Neighborhood Handyman for future jobs.

Steve came out to estimate the job, and told me I'd hear back from Rose regarding the estimate, and availabilities to have it repaired. The estimate was very reasonable, so I booked a date. It all went very well!. Steve and his crew were great! I'd def use them again. Kitchen was completed in one day. They returned the following day to repair the railing.
