Transferring Gutter Helmet was essential as we live in a "leaf-infested" neighborhood. Even though it was there busiest time of the year, their mgr., Debbie (she also has a great sense of humor) made sure to get me scheduled. Cost to reinstall was reasonable as the price included cleaning gutters thoroughly and attaching Gutter Helmet. A big thanks to Ray for making sure the bill was fair and a special call-out to Brian for installing my Gutter Helmet professionally. It's nice to know that they value their old customers!

I would say they have terrible customer service. The roof is good quality but to contact the company and have any problems resolve is very difficult. i would not hire them for roofing.

In 2008 I had Gutter Helmet (Bohemia, NY) install their system on my house and detached garage. The installation went smoothly and by-and-large I was satisfied. The one issue I had were that the icicles that hung from the roof could be considered weapons they were so big and thick! But I lived with that - no problem. In 2012 I contacted the company to ask if they would come and service the Helmet. We discovered a birds? nest on the second floor and, being seniors, we didn?t want to go up that high to take it down. We?d tried to dislodge it in the fall with a hose but were unable to. They took our information and told us to expect a call-back. After a few weeks of phone calls (to all different numbers) the bad weather came and I dropped the issue. The following spring, I tried to follow up but none of the numbers I used before worked. I thought the company had gone out of business. We continued to hose the gutter down but to no avail. In 2014 I saw an advertisement for the Gutter Helmet system. I called the number and explained the problem. At the end of the season, November 4th to be exact, I got an unannounced visit from the company representative. He did a walk around the house and garage and told me that Helmet was having a problem with geographic representation. They were currently investigating a company that appeared promising and that they would be in touch. About a month later, I tried to reach him but the number had been disconnected. In 2015 I again saw an ad for the company and called (it turned out to be a New Jersey location). They said that they would send someone out to look at the issue. On April 15 someone came out. He looked at the situation and dislodged the birds? nest. He proceeded to tell me that the birds had gotten into the gutter by means of a faulty gutter that had to be replaced (although I could actually see the birds flying in and out of the Helmet system). He also said that five Helmet panels were damaged and the tie-ins for the new gutter and panels should be redone. He left me with an estimate of $975 (including my senior citizen discount!). The estimate stated: Replace 5 panels, replace gutter on 2nd level, redo tie-ins, pollen clean (hose down) house and brush clean garage. He also stated that, should I elect to have this done ? and I should decide soon - I would have to go on a waiting list. He explained that geographic areas are lumped together and repairmen are sent out (I assume from NJ) to do the work. The bottom line is the $3,200 I spent for a Lifetime Material, Performance, Transferable, Warranty System from Gutter Helmet is not worth anything. BUYER BEWARE ? LEARN FROM MY MISTAKE.

Work was done efficiently and are was left clean. Sales rep was very helpful.

Nice job. Guards are a little more expensive but hopefully worth it.

Sales call: July. Install: September (I'm just saying.....) Be advised: The installers require bone dry sunny conditions. So if rain is forecast, be patient because they will probably delay the install and then have to re-book a new appointment. Price is negotiable, as is the introduction of random discounts and coupons, so remember to wheel and deal with the salesman. Since the install I have had no leaks, or rain issues. More importantly I believe there is zero possibility for leaves going into my gutters.

I have about 6 corner gutters which are 90 degree turns. When they finished the project I was having leaks on each corner. I have had them out about 6 times. They are very friendly but they just have not fixed the issue. What they are doing is just not working and can't seem to fix the issue.

They were excellent, just perfect. They came right away and the work was done in two weeks.

I met with Joe Trimarco and we discussed the scope of the work to be done and he provided me with an on-the spot quotation which included a $900 discount (half manufacturer and half local installer incentive). I was not aware of the manufacturer discount and Joe could have not included it. The installation team arrived on -site a week later as promised and completed the work in a few hours and did a good job in cleaning the property once they were done.
