We are a local Female & Family owned & operated contractor who has been serving the South Jersey area for over 30 years in all their Electrical, Heating, Cooling, Solar and Generator needs. We perform both light commercial and residential Electrical, Heating, Cooling, Solar and Generator installations, renovations and upgrades. We train our team to not just have the technical skills needed to do their jobs well, but how to help customers get to what they want for both comfort AND budget. Services we offer

All Electrical residential & light commercial, heating & cooling - generators, indoor/outdoor lighting & solar installations. We are knob & tube, aluminum wiring and rewiring experts as well as solar installation & repair experts. For HVAC we are experts on a full NJ program analysis for all available programs, rebates, incentives and loan programs. We help customers qualify for as many as possible and work to meet their comfort AND budget needs in the process. Its not about how fast we can get a customer to work with us, it's about how well we work with you and your needs and goals. We are here for the journey from start to finish and after.

Services we don't offer

We do not maintain or service oil HVAC systems. We only assist customers in the best programs for converting them from oil to gas, electric or propane systems. We also do not work on nor install Geo-thermal systems.

We have been very pleased to use Raynor Services for installing new outlets in our home as well as yearly service to our heating system and electrical inspection of our electrical systems. Bob E. just left after inspecting our electric and offering some options for projects we plan next spring. The attention to customer satisfaction from Raynor has been exemplary. We can always reach a live polite person by phone, receive immediate attention, and on-time respectful technicians that clean up after they are done working. Bob E. was professional and yet cheerful and friendly in explaining options and costs to me this morning. Who could ask for anything more? We do pay $19 per month to insure our HVAC and electrical systems are safe and effective. Raynor is our trusted "go-to" company.

Raynor appealed to me because it was a family run business and they seemed to always show up. They are very pricey, $500 hr. (good luck finding that published on their website), so I was hopeful to get what I paid for.
Description of Work: I have 2 zones, and over the past year or so spent I was sold several thousand dollars of on "coil cleanings", "condenser cleanings" and also told I wouldn't to spend that much if I joined their "tune-up" service plan for several hundred a year. As it turns out their Spring and Fall "tune-ups" as not nothing more than an inspection service. that afforded Raynor with aplace and time to come into my home and upsell me some other service. The short of it is there's was always a different tech, along with a different opinion and a new story on what I needed. I could never get the service that I needed, let alone the services what I was paying for. All Raynor wanted to do was sell me new systems (currently have Trane that is less that 10 years old). Like this last week, instead of vacuuming out the elements of my Clean Air Effects, they wanted to me to spend $2000 on a similar system to replace it. So when all was said and paid, I find myself doing tune-ups.

PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS VENDOR, IT WILL SAVE YOU THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS. We hired this company for a simple commercial HVAC install, however they did not adhere to the guidelines dictated by the town which is preventing our company from receiving a Certificate of Occupancy (CO) for this building. In response to our inquires to rectify the above issue, the owner (Tom) has been grossly negligent. He has refused to work with us and the town to fix his errors which is completely unprofessional. This company has cost my partners and I thousands of dollars of lost revenue and we are now in a situation where the owner does not return our phone calls. How can a company which states on its website that it provides “top quality service with professional, knowledgeable, trustworthy and highly skilled technicians that make sure we treat your home and business as if it were our very own” under-deliver on all of the above qualities? Don’t let the same thing happen to you, find another professional company to work with.

I highly recommend engaging Raynor Services for your heating/air conditioning needs. Our technician, Matt, was very friendly, courteous and efficiently diagnosed and planned the remediation of our heating problem. He took the time to point out what was wrong and provided some extra measures we could take, should we decide to, in the future. No sales pitch, no pressure to add additional costs. Extremely satisfied with Raynor’s friendly service, quick response (less than 1.5 hrs from my call) and low costs to return our heating system back in working order. We will continue to call on Raynor Sevices for all of our heating & ac needs.

Very happy with our solar panel installation! Raynor services was excellent throughout the whole process. They did all of the necessary paperwork and guided us through the entire process. They came out on time and completed the installation within 2 days. They left no mess at all and were very polite and respectful. We love that we have already seen a major impact on our electric bill! Kyle and Tyler were very professional and worked hard to get the job done right. We highly recommend Raynor Services and we would definitely call them again.

Received $11000 project quote for a solar panel installation with 0% finance. The quote was attractive, and I decided to go with this company. Applied for 0% financing card and got approved for it. However, after receiving permits, the company changed the contract to 6% financing option. The company insisted that the contract was originally 6%. After much discussion, it provided me with a very ambiguous and small fine prints as part of the contract. The installation was done cheap. The guys used cheap plastic pipe to get the electrical work done and also made a hole in the roof to run the electrical line through. All of these works were done without discussing it with the owner. After receiving the payments, no help or guidance for setting up SREC. You get what you pay for. I regret that I chose this vendor for solar panel project.

Hello, thank you for your feedback we always appreciate any of it. We know that phone calls are difficult for you and did try and respond to you again via phone but are unable to reach you again. We wanted to help you with this as solar projects are a long project with many many steps in a very precise order and it takes the longest amount of time to go from start to finish with solar projects than any other trade based project. As we discussed your project is not completed yet. There has been no final approval for the SRECs yet to set them up. That is the next step of the project but we would need you to give us a call to do that. As we explained in the initial phase and the second phase of your project, you must have approvals from first the township via passed inspections for the installation, which you have, everything on the installation was beyond code and fully approved by the township. Then approval comes from the power company and then the next approval comes from the state. Once all those approvals are obtained, and they must be in that order, then your SRECs can be set up. There are numbers assigned by the state and only the state that you need in order to get the SRECs to sell. As far as the installation, it was done beyond code, fully passed using the best materials possible. The electric does have to go into the home and anything done on the roof is completely sealed and approved and passed by all officials. We did meet with you several times in person and go over everything, from installation details, material details and the length of the project and the approval process to options for payments so that you could chose what worked best for you. Your deposit was made in cash and you signed for wanting to utilize the cash discount. When you decided to change your mind we moved ahead with the financing option right away. Your project is still finishing all the approvals and final set ups with the SRECs so that is why you were not set up yet. You will be fully completed and everything set up but we do need you to respond and reach out. We are always here for you and look forward to getting the last part of your project finalized when you are ready to. We apologize again that you are unhappy, solar installations are a longer more confusing project but we are always here to walk every customer through it. We look forward to hearing from you!

Bought a house last year that was built in the 40s. Though the service panel had been updated most of the outlets and wiring had not. Called Raynor and they were very courteous and prompt. They kept us informed as to when the technician would arrive. The technician was very courteous and professional as I explained all the work I wanted done; 5 outlets with its own breaker in the room that was to become our office. 1 GFI in the upstairs bathroom to satisfy the CO inspector. 1 outlet in the living room for the TV. 1 outlet in the master bedroom for the AC. 2 exterior outlets for the front and side of the house. It took 2 days to get it all done but it was well worth it. The technicians were very courteous and cleaned up after themselves when they were done. Would most definitely recommend their services.

They made an appointment for 8:30am. They showed up at 10:00 am and sat in their truck for ten minutes. I was told that they would have to do 3 written estimates depending on what work had to be done. They required that I pay $275 before they could guarantee their work and would not do the job unless I first paid the $275 then they would add on the cost of the work. I told them that I would not deal with them and that they were attempting to rip me off. This was a job that require a man with an extension ladder and not more.
Description of Work: I needed my outdoor spot lights replaced. It appeared that bulbs were out. They made an appointment for 8:30am. They showed up at 10:00 am and sat in their truck for ten minutes. Hello, we are so sorry that you felt that way and that it seems we let you down. When we schedule our first morning appointments there is always a window given of 8:30am to 10:30am with a call given by our office when the technician is on their way. We do that so that our customers can go about their days and when the technician is on their way we always call to make sure that it is still a good time for us to come to your home. We listened to the phone call and did here the office team member mention that to you ahead but we are reviewing if there is a way we can better convey that. We never want our customers to be upset. Whenever we come out for an electrical problem, not an estimate for work, but a problem in the residence there is a diagnostic fee to spend that time running a full set of diagnostics to not just find what the problem is, but to also discover what is causing it. There is a fee for that service and often times if its a small non extensive repair we include it in the fee for running the diagnostics. If the problem is more extensive then we always discuss it with the customer and build options that work for the issue and the customer. We are always here for our customers and work hard to make them happy. We are sorry if we missed the mark with you and hope this helps explain things. We never want you to be upset. We apologize again.

Mike, the Raynor technician, showed up on time (and the office kept me very well informed of arrival time). Mike was extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and professional. He explained exactly what was causing my electrical problems and offered four different options (with quotes) for repair. I chose not to move forward because the expense didn't justify the issue (a personal choice of mine), but I must say that I will certainly hire Raynor in the future. Great company!

Will was very responsive, thorough and professional. He guided us through each step and although I feel it was a bit costly to have 1 receptacle changed, 1 closed off and a switch changed out it was well worth it. Matt and Mike replaced our old barrel type humidifier that wasn't working and replaced it with the Aprilaire fan in humidifier, ran a new water line, electric and rerouted the condensation line to the sump pump. They also upgraded the thermostat and relay panel to be able to control the humidity from t-stat. Everything is running perfectly with home humidity at 46%. Also purchased the elite yearly service plan.

Raynor Services NJ. I'm addressing my aha moment experience . I wouldn't recommend because of the pricing and what I was I told by Raynor's electricians. Remember I'm not an electrician so I'm looking for someone to guide me, the professionals. During my new life lesson learned January 1st even for a holiday this is high but Raynor sticking by their quotes and will even provide your financing. WOW, you would have to with those charges! Thinking let me go local would be the best, totally wrong. Raynor ask for your credit card up front, thinking back my first mistake. Hhhmmmm.. I have only had a company ask for a credit card upfront when they are ordering a part for me from what I recall. They charged you for walking thru the door, no problem. Then have your sign to review your issue, yes you don't have to I'm told but again I'm not an electrician, did the electrician not know what was going on? I have a 11 year old electrical panel, yup pretty new one would I thought. Well I had no electricity, the guy is asking me it must be something more that is going on I thought , not just the main breaker? I called originally stating the main breaker is not working. The electrician should of stated to me let's get your electric back on with the price prior to seeing if anything else maybe wrong but again you are at my house to see what is wrong? Apparently this was my fault to have someone review my electrical panel which took 10 minutes to do and I was billed $467.09 which included the walk in the door fee. January 1st , my first "got you" clause of the year. I called customer service and spoke to two women at the company and they spoke to me nicely, wanted to give me a free warranty. I'm thinking in my head , for what? Kerri who also works for the company was so nasty to me on the phone, she was the final person I spoke too. I repeated myself several times and received the same story from the company on how you go to the doctors and what my doctor charges me. Kerri even told me her electrician will be right out to pick up their cable and they did. I really thought going off of Angie list I wouldn't feel so taken. Finally I had to interrupt her several times to say what is my bill and she didn't even know and said you will get an email. One of the workers from Raynor even told me the prices are high and yes a lot of people complained about the same issue your are complaining about, OMG!!! The electricians are all young men. I was told by one of the company employees I am handling it well and I'm a very nice person, imagine that. After talking to 3 different people on the phone from Raynor still charged $467.09 and no breaker. The price they wanted to charge me after the work completed is $1,140.26, for service and a breaker, less then 1/2 hour job. They also wanted to sell me a new panel/ electrical system because mine was reading to go and I didn't have quality electrical panel installed. I had water coming through my electrical line, I was like really? It would cost me over $2,000.00 for a new panel and all new breakers, I was informed of this prior to my electric coming back on. I had so many red flags and even called my contractor and he couldn't believe it. As I was told by the company the electrician didn't have to check my service but then again how do you find out the problem? The electrician spent 10minutes to review the problem and 10minute to put my electric on, let say 30 minutes, charged $467.09 and still more money for the main breaker and service. This is the email I sent to the company after talking to 3 people pretty calmly about their charges. EMAIL:.To who it may concern , Please confirm service fee charge, I received a 2nd email but not clear, it states I still owe. It is unfortunate and your employee did come back to retrieve your cable from me today. For a single circuit breaker along with service would cost someone over a thousand dollars is not responsible even on a holiday. To charge someone over $467.09 to step through my door and tell me what is wrong even on a holiday is priced high. We already knew it was the main breaker I addressed this when I placed the initial call and spoke with Chris when he came out. Maybe your guy should of stated to me let's try the breaker first? This was not addressed to me at that time. It was addressed to do a diagnostic test , as a customer I felt that is what was needed. I was also told I needed an entire new system and the outside tubing I think you call it would need to be replaced. My unit is not even 11 years old, insane. Also begins over spoken too by Kerri was concerning. Stephanie and Cheri did speak to me kindly but the high price never changed. I have done business with many companies and lived in neighborhood for over 20 years and I have not come across an experience like this. I would hope the charges will not even come to $467.09. If so very unfortunate and lesson learned. I have never had a company I couldn't work things out with and I have only had one other company complaint in the last 20 years, not bad on my part, we were able to negotiate. I was offered a free warranty package from your company but this was to keep my business but saw no problems with what I was charged? Disheartening. Yes after all this I had a new electrician come to my house and guess what all I need was a Circuit breaker I did not need a new panel/electrician system. Imagine that. No reply to my email and spoke to 3 people. Kerri stated since I was not happy with the service he electrician will come back and disconnect the work they had done and they did. To who it may concern , Please confirm service fee charge, I received a 2nd email but not clear, it states I still owe. It is unfortunate and your employee did come back to retrieve your cable from me today. For a single circuit breaker along with service would cost someone over a thousand dollars is not responsible even on a holiday. Description of Work: Electric back on, no main breaker, just jumped. I was informed I needed a new electrical panel and all new breakers, water was coming through my electrical system from the outside. My electrical panel only 11 years old and told the quality was poor. I was told my electrical panel will not last, you can finance through our company. RED FLAG! This is the level1 Diagnostic I was charged for and believed I should of been credited back. This was totally wrong to informed me of this and make me feel more was wrong then my original request, new main circuit breaker. I had a new company come out the next day to check my service. I only needed a main breaker, my 11 year old electrical panel had nothing else wrong with.

Anytime we see any evidence of rust in a panel we always let a customer know and build many options for the customer so they can choose what works best for them, their home and their family. We know emergencies come up outside of regular business hours and to support our customers we make sure that we have office staff and technicians on call to help! Raynor was very professional, very responsive, and very knowledgeable. they completed the work quickly, were pleasant and cleaned up after themselves! Amazing company!
Description of Work: After a home inspection we needed a light fixture and outlet switch rewired to code during the Holiday week. Raynor not only was able to send someone out the next day, they called with updates letting us know when theu would arrive. Upon arrival they reviewed the needed work, provided a very reasonable quote AND performed the service immediately!
