Eric and his team were great! There were a lot of moving parts to the lighting and electrical project, and they handled it with expertise and professionalism. They were very punctual with time and were very flexible with how we wanted them to attack the project. After the project was complete, we had an issue with one of the switches in the project, but I told Eric that it is okay if nothing can be done. However Eric said he would have one of his guys there the next day to make sure everything is working as it should. He was very responsive with the follow up and the switch is now working perfectly. My wife and I highly recommend using MC Home Improvements.

Our experience was very good. Eric was very responsive to emails and phone calls during the planning phases and throughout the project. One of the main reasons we went with him is because he offered a lot of suggestions and seemed to genuinely care about the project and giving us a fair estimate. The price was about in the middle of the various quotes we got. The work was performed by Chris who showed up exactly on time every day. He asked good questions and his quality of work was great. All inspections were passed the first time, despite having to make major modifications to bring everything up to code. I feel like the quality of work and the overall experience matched the price. I'd classify MC Home Improvements as a medium-high grade contractor - the bathroom remodel was turn-key in terms of work done, but we still had to do a lot of homework ourselves in picking out the right fixtures. Our only complaint was that despite their efforts there was a significant amount of dust that spread throughout the house. They tried to manage the dust by putting up plastic sheets, but for whatever reason the dust still spread. I would suggest if you are sensitive to dust that you request some extra care in this area. Overall, I would recommend MC Home Improvements and would consider them for significant future projects.

We could not have been happier with the work done or the manner in which it was performed. Eric and his crew were knowledgeable and helpful in the planning of the remodels. Eric made himself extremely available to discuss any and all questions or concerns throughout the entire length of the job. His crew was extremely considerate, prompt and tidy every single day. Both bathrooms have been completely transformed and look amazing. We would definitely use MC Property Management and Home Improvement again and highly recommend them.

It went fantastically! Eric has done lots of work for us in the past including a basement finishing and bathroom renovation and this most recent work went as well as before. He and his crew are easy to work with, show up on time, keep the place clean, and are clearly experts in their field. All the work was top notch. We plan to use their services again after we move into the new house. Thanks to the great work they did, our house just sold for $9000 over asking price!

It went well. I was very happy with how the project moved along as well as the final product. I enjoyed working with the whole team. I do not have one bad thing to say. I will use this company in the future and will recommend them accordingly.

Eric initially came for the estimate and was very professional and knowledgeable. He worked to get our job scheduled quickly and completed within one week. The project manager/contractor, Chris, was at our home promptly every day. He was very helpful and willing to answer any questions or address any concerns that we had. Throughout the whole process Eric would check up and help us feel at ease. The bathroom looks beautiful, particularly the tile work done in the shower. We are planning to use MC for replacement windows and future home projects. I would highly recommend MC!

The process was a success. I have dealt with many contractors in my life, But MC Property Management & Home Improvements takes the gold. I was completely satisfied with every aspect of the job from start to finish. They did everything you would look for in a contractor (On time, worked full days, communicated, knew their trade, job was finished on time, assisted me as needed, explained when needed). I will no longer look for new contractors as long as MC Property Management & Home Improvements is around to help me.

I am so happy with the experience. I have heard so many horror stories when it comes to contractors. We did our due diligiance when searching for a contractor. We called referrals, looked at pictures of the contractors work, and was able to see on going and past job sites. We finally Choose MC. Eric was very personable and easy to talk to. I feel I made a new friend. Francisco was the main person that ran the job site and he was as easy to talk to as Eric. You can tell that Francisco really cares about his work. He is a master craftsman in my opinion. He pays attention to every little detail. The rest of the crew was great too. They helped with design, gave me their opinions, and had me thinking out side of the box. I will recommend them and this company to everyone I know, I have already passed their information to my neighbor and family members.

I called, and when they didn't answer, just figured that I would call back later in the day without leaving a message. Later on, they called me back, as they could see my phone number. I didn't remember which company I'd called, so I asked them if they could hold for a brief moment. While this happened, I could hear a lot of cursing in the background. I wasn't sure if it was directed at me, or someone else. At that point, I realized that they hung up on me. I was unhappy, and thought this was very unprofessional. I do not want to be contacted by this company.

MC Property Management & Home Improvement are the most professional contractors I have dealt with. On time, responsive, professional with expertise in their skills. I had old tile removed and replaced with new ceramic tile and grout, along with paint, faucet and lighting updates. All done in a very reasonable amount of time. A+ communication and craftsmanship.

One word: "Excellent" Before embarking on the kitchen remodeling project, we had talked to a few contractors. Eric was the most responsive, thorough and prompt in discussing the project. We wanted flexibility in the choice of kitchen material and appliances. Eric was very supportive. He also suggested to talk to him once we got the price and maybe we could save some $$ if we went with his preferred sources. For cabinets we went with our choice but for the countertop Eric's price was the best. The entire design of the kitchen was my wifes brainchild and Eric worked with her step by step to realize the dream. The project started on July 13 and demolition was completed in two days. Throughout the project we were lucky to get Frank as the main project owner. Frank is Eric's partner and depending upon the schedule you may or may not get him. We hit the jackpot with Frank!! Then the tiling began. We had selected the tiles but once the tiling began, the pattern was not what we wanted. We immediately got in touch with Eric and he was very understanding and laid out the pros and cons of delaying. In the end, Eric worked with the tile guy so that some of the most offending pieces were under the cabinet and the overall look was perfect. Eric the electrician was also very professional and thorough. I added recessed lighting to the project scope and they were able to accommodate it at a very reasonable price. During the installation of the cabinets, we found that one of the cabinets was not deep enough to fit the microwave oven. We called the cabinet guy and he promised to work with us but was not able to deliver the new ones in time. So in the end, Frank designed an extension to the cabinet and made it look even better than before. From the demo to cabinet installation took about 3 weeks. The countertops went in on the 4th week and then the hood, backsplash etc. that took about a week and a half. The guys that worked on the project were very respectful, clean, thorough and prompt. they took pride in the craft man ship and it shows in the finished product. There were some hiccups during the entire project but Eric promised to send over his guys after the project was done. He got back to us with a few dates but didn't work out because of the schedule. An outstanding job! Very punctual and worked efficiently. Our bathroom looks amazing. Couldn't be more happy with the work. A broom was brought to the job site to clean up everyday. Precautions were taken to ensure that my furniture and living room/kitchen did not get dirty due to all of the dust/debris. I am more than pleased with the work overall.

No work was performed due to scheduling conflicts and we decided to cancel our contract. Our deposit was immediately refunded without hassle. The process up to that point was rather straightforward and seamless. Eric showed up on time at our house to provide his estimate and was quite responsive via email on all our follow up questions. We appreciated his professionalism and more importantly the transparency throughout the process on potential hidden costs associated with the type of tile design or bathroom doors we consideres.

Eric (owner) came out to give me a quote and made many suggestions for the project. He is very thorough and takes great pride in his projects. He is easy to reach and very accomodating. His team is efficient, hard working, and dedicated. The work is high quality. If a problem does surface the entire team is anxious to make changes to satisfy the customers. For example the upper cabinets were installed and it was discovered that one of the doors couldn't open all the way because of a ceiling vent so Francisco (the installer) removed the cabinets and moved them down 1/2" to accomodate the vent. I am very happy with the results - my dreary kitchen/laundry area is now a bright inviting laundry room with great storage. I can't say enough positive things about Eric. He also did a large job for my daughter in redoing 2 bathrooms and installing new interior doors. You won't be sorry you chose Eric.

We were immediately impressed with Eric from our initial meeting. He wasn't pushy in any way and seemed open to our ideas. We had a lot of questions for him and he had very honest answers with excellent suggestions. When he left, we felt very comfortable with this company. We made our decisions on the project and communicated our decisions with Eric. When the bathroom supply company delivered the wrong vanity, Eric was very flexible and just reworked the schedule. John gutted and remodeled the bathroom and was an excellent worker. He was neat and did great work. Eric and John were extremely professional and we were very pleased with the finished bathroom.

MC did a great job. Our laundry room went from a junky, overcrowded eye-sore room located in our family room to a showcase that we're proud for visitors to see. An amazing transformation to a modern room with great storage, space and efficient use of the available space. And, I'm looking forward to no longer freezing in my favorite bathroom from drafts coming from the outer facing wall and window. Eric Couper is pure customer service. He's focused on helping you achieve your objectives rather than tasks. Very accessible and he brings a ton of experience and good ideas. MC has a great team that you'll enjoy having in your home - Frank is the master craftsman, Nick does the painting and Joe/Eric are the special teamers. Best of all, Eric has a portfolio of only the best product providers in NY/NJ Two pieces of advice: 1) Let MC manage the entire project from start to finish. It's the most efficient approach. We had other ideas at the beginning and it probably cost us some efficiencies by not trusting Eric to do everything out the gate. 2) Stop reading this review and call them before it's too late to get on their schedule. You've read enough of their A reviews. These guys are growing fast thanks to a great team and unbeatable customer service.

On a routine inspection of a rental property I found problems with the bathroom floor. MC dispatched someone to check it out and found the floor needed immediate attention. MC made time and money estimates and negotiated with the tenant to be without the bathroom for three days. They were able to complete the repairs ahead of time and within original estimates. Tenant and Landlord were very satisfied.

I had a fantastic experience with MC Home Improvements. Eric was super professional, knowledgeable, and made sure everything went as smoothly as possible. His team was great, and got the job done in a timely fashion. They answered all our questions as well as went above and beyond our expectations to deliver a one of a kind experience. They walked us through everything they were going to do. Any issues that came up or concerns they had with something a long the way they consulted with us first before going ahead and making the changes. It went well. They Finished my 800 sqft basement. It now consists of a common area, 5x8 bathroom with custom shower, and a 8ft wet bar with all the bells and whistles. I have a heated engineered wood in my common area. Eric and Francisco were my main points of contact and they were a great to deal with. Francisco ran the day to day, he was promptly on time, worked a full day, and was very helpful.

This was our first remodel project, so we were a bit unsure of everything. Eric was one of 3 contractors we contacted about the job. He arrived right on time and answered questions and provided info without getting carried away with crazy ideas. Once we signed on with him to do the job, he helped us find suppliers, answered all of my many questions and was patient as we navigated suppliers to figure out what we liked and wanted for the project. It took about 3 months from contract to the actual project start. John, who did the bulk of the work arrived right on time the scheduled start date. He worked steadily each day to demolish the old fixtures and install the new. He showed up every morning right on time. He went out of his way to accommodate our needs since we only have one shower/tub in the house, leaving it in tact for a couple of days when he knew he wouldn't be working and rigging a temporary shower curtain, once the tub and tile were completed, so we would have use of the shower until the glass tub enclosure/shower door was installed. We did encounter some problems with the materials and fixtures that delayed final completion, but both Eric and John worked with us to resolve those as quickly as possible.

We recently moved into our house and ripped up the carpet in the addition of our house (the sun room). Once we decided we wanted to add tile, we got a few estimates from different companies and MC gave us the lowest estimate. We felt comfortable hiring them because I've seen many pictures of their work and knew they were extremely capable of doing a good job. A few days later, Joe came to our house and got to work. It took him a total of 3 days to complete the job and not only was he extremely punctual, but he was an incredibly hard worker. Once the job was complete we knew we had made the right choice because the tiling was perfectly even, evenly grouted, just beautiful work. Eric, one of the company's owners, followed up with me a few times to make sure I was happy with the progress which I really appreciated. I would highly recommend MC Property Management & Home Improvements to anyone needing any home renovations. I will absolutely hire them for any future projects.

Let me just say that this is my very first review. I read/depend on reviews all the time but somehow never get around to writing one but I think its only fair to share an experience (good or bad) with others that stand to gain from reviews so here I am....with only good things to say about MC Home Improvement. It started with a great first meeting with Eric Couper and as we discussed our project in depth with him, we knew he's the guy for the job. Throughout the duration of the project (which lasted 3 months) he was hands-on in terms of project management, always available, approachable and pleasant. As you can imagine, any project this size is bound to have issues but it was the manner in which Eric handled them, that has me recommending him. His crew is fabulous, punctual, courteous and clean. The crew cleaned up after themselves each day, respected areas of the house outside of the work area and were very patient in explaining each stage of the project. Concerns were explained or addressed in a satisfactory manner each time we asked and no corners were cut with regards to building materials or gray areas in the contract. Frank, our foreman and Eric (Palmer) our main electrician were excellent throughout the job and paid a lot of attention to detail. They both spent the extra time they needed to in order to do the job right and with pride. The effort shows as friends and family that have seen the work have all commented on the little details they cared to do well. So yes, we would use them again and we would certainly recommend them to others.

Phenomenal, I honestly could not have asked for a better experience. Most contractors I have worked with in the past were very unorganized, forgetful and slow. Eric was punctual, knowledgeable and very meticulous with his work. All of his employees were impressive as well. They also took their time educating us on different options within our budget. Very professional with their initial estimates and contracts. Everything was completed ahead of schedule and as expected. We get so many compliments on the quality of work that was done from our friends - I would refer them to anyone! So happy we found them.

I liked how the job came out. I have been enjoying the great deck with my family. The half bath was fairly simple, only a sink and toilet, but came out great. Such an improvement on our outdated bath. So to summarize, it went great.
