See above...NUMEROUS PROBLEMS, despite numerous calls and emails, MC REFUSES TO RESPOND to call or emails..... DOES NOT TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR THEIR SHODDY WORK!!!! I HAVE POSTED A PICTURE ON THEIR FACEBOOK PAGE UNDER REVIEWS....a picture is worth a thousand words!!! T his work was done on my daughters house, Michael and Kristin , across the street from me, I am her Mother and a member of Angies list, so no, I am not taking this review down until this matter is settled!

I met with Eric at the old deck to discuss the configuration of the new deck. He made several key suggestions that made an important difference on the final result. He prepared a contract describing work to be done, the cost, completion date, and scheduled progress payments. All of these commitments were met. All permits were managed by the group. There were no surprises. Most of the construction work was done by Frank. He went to several building supply companies to find pressed lumber without defects. He corrected some defects in the attachment of the previous deck to the house. He is obviously very experienced. He did an outstanding job. Frank said building decks is his first love. If you saw this deck you would believe it.

I'm very satisfied with all of the work that was done. Eric, Nick (his painter), and the other workers in my home were all professional, courteous and helpful. They made what was a lot of work needed throughout my home go very smoothly and Eric made himself completely available for any questions I might have had.

Eric's team renovated our main bathroom in early 2015. We reached out to several contractors and Eric gave us the most reasonable estimate. From the start we had a good experience with him and his team, as he was always available to talk to us, had good recommendations for the project and his team kept us informed every step of the way. They did a pretty good of protecting the floors and other rooms during the renovation, and they were very organized with their tools. They ran pretty close to schedule and the only delays were due to inclement weather. Our bathroom looks gorgeous and we would definitely work with Eric and his team again.

The entire process went extremely well and right on schedule. The owners and staff were all very polite and helpful as to answering any questions I may have had. They showed a level professionalism which you just cannot find now a days. Very pleased costumer.

I thought the process went excellent. I knew it would be a bit of an inconvenience, but they did every thing in their power to keep that to a minimum. The process did go over the estimated completion date, but only by one week. I was informed that was due the the towns inspections process being a little backed up. I was warned that could happen before I signed with Eric though. They gave me their total attention and I felt like I was their only customer. They were there every day from the start of the project to the very end. They were on time, worked a full day, and always had time to talk and explain their process to me. Their ideas in layout and design were very helpful. I recommend MC Home to all my friends and family. They did an excellent job. My family and I are so happy with the new family space and we are looking forward to making some new memories down there.

I recently purchased a home and was recommended to MC by a neighbor to handle an almost complete renovation before I moved in. Eric was spot on in keeping on schedule and prompt in responding to any questions my husband and I had. During the construction process Eric's staff was very attentive to detail and did a really great job in keeping dust and debris contained in their work area. The overall job came out even better than expected especially the kitchen which turned out phenomenal. Once the weather breaks my husband wants to build a deck and some other small improvements and definitely will be turningto MC for all of our needs

I had recently completed some re-grading and patio work on my property that included a foundation and slab for a new detached garage. I hired Eric to complete the garage including framing, siding, roofing, gutters and windows. Working with Eric and his crew was an overall positive experience. I called for a quote and got a response right away. His pricing was very reasonable. The job was completed on budget and on schedule with no problems, and the workers were all very professional and pleasant to deal with. They kept the work area very clean and tidy, and Eric was always available by phone or email when I had questions. I would definitely recommend MC Home to anyone doing work on their house and I would hire them again for future projects.

We found Eric and team initially at a home improvement convention in 2012. Our intention was to make use of our existing kitchen space and take up some our garage to increase the working kitchen space. After much research and several emails, we ended up expanding out of the back of the house to more than double our kitchen and move our powder room out as well (to give it space from the dining room and kitchen). NOTE: The space we were dealing with was a 1950?s original kitchen with none of the retro mid century glamor. Indeed, it was a 1950?s blue starter kitchen that some do-it-yourselfer attempted to update without success. Eric was on the spot with any email or text we sent him. He almost always had the answer, but for those time he didn?t, he was never afraid to say he didn?t know off hand, but would get back to us; and get back to us he did without fail. The project took longer than anticipated, but we went into this knowing that time moves quicker than we?d like, and that scope creeps. In fact, I think we were more accepting of the protracted time frames than Eric was (and this is no way an negative reflection on Eric). We are not those types of homeowners who micro manage or get in the way. In fact, we decided if we were going to move forward with Eric, we?d have to have some basic trust in him and his judgments. For those times when we needed to be involved, Eric made sure we were there making the decisions he needed to move the overall project along. We met nearly everyone who touched our project, from the architect to the skilled local craftsmen. Each individual was courteous, knowledgeable, proficient, local, and nailed their tasks as projected by Eric. Any re-work needed for any reason, the work was completed immediately and efficiently. The project is complete. The CO is granted. The kitchen and powder room are exactly as we envisioned and more. We are satisfied clients, and would definitely contact Eric again for any future projects.

Project management was very good. They provided a written contract with reasonable costs and a payment schedule specified and there were no surprises. The work was completed in an acceptable time, and quality met or exceeded my expectations.

I'm loving the new bathroom that Eric and his team put in. They took out the old bathroom down to the studs. Added new sheetrock, tile, fixtures, lighting, the works. The work was done on time and without any issues. I was very impressed with the quality: everything is plumb, there are no tiling mistakes or goofs. And I would note I asked for diagonal tiling in the shower as well, which is not easy do. The guys came early every day and stayed all day; there was none of the come-and-go stuff that some contractors pull when they're working on 3 jobs at once. The job was done with a permit and passed all inspections. Eric recommended Maria at Garden State tile to design the layout and she did a great job as well. I have showed off the bathroom to all my neighbors and they are all impressed. I would definitely use MC Home Improvements again.

They were great. They were professional, they showed up on time and they did everything in the scope and a little bit more. They kind of went above and beyond and the quality was very good. They worked with us and tried to make it less inconvenient as possible. They were very responsive. Eric was always available. If I have any question, I can call him any time. They were very helpful in giving us ideas for the design of the kitchen as well.

the job and overall dealings with MC was great.. very friendly staff and very easy to deal with.. i would reccomend them to anyone looking to have work done to their home !

They were amazing. They were thorough, reliable, prompt (answered phone calls right away), skilled, and professional.

They had gotten a lot of responses, and he said that because they were so busy due to the big deal, he'd honor the agreement even though it expired; the work hasn't been done yet. We've been emailing back and forth. He was very agreeable to what he could and couldn't do. When I talked to him last, I asked him about building a large shelf in the back of my garage for storage.

I did receive a call back from Eric initially and he left a message on my voice mail. When I finally did get in touch with him on 7/3, he said he was just heading out for vacation/holiday weekend and to call him back that following Monday. I got the impression that he couldn't be bothered and felt like I was intruding on his personal time. Just awkward. I would have expected him to ask for my number and he would call me back the following week. But nevertheless I waited a day and returned his call that Tuesday. Sometimes people need downtime. But I never received a call back after that and did not pursue it.

Dominick was in charge of this work. He responded promptly to our request for an estimate, visiting us within a week of our first phone inquiry. He immediately put us at ease with his confidence and cooperative, professional style. The estimate was reasonable and within the range of other estimates received. He provided great advice regarding how to reconfigure the bathrooms and how the new closet would look. We chose him because of his expertise, confidence and reasonable price. We also visited friends who had used MC and saw that their bathroom renovation was top notch. All members of the crew were on time. competent, and pleasant to deal with. Questions or requests were handled politely and professionally. They were patient with some changes we requested such as the placement of the door to the closet and location of power outlets. We were always treated with respect. The tiler was patient! We laid out every tile on the floor of the guest room in the exact pattern we wanted on the walls. He graciously followed our layout, even changing a few tiles when they didn't look as well on the wall as they did on the floor! The crew did their best to control the dust and debris, hanging plastic sheeting and covering the floors. They cleaned up completely afterward and hauled away all the construction debris. The completed work is fabulous and exceeds expectations. The bathroom is transformed from an old, dated bathroom into our hoped for "spa". The powder room is very elegant and the walk in closet is a dream. The new/changed walls look as if they were always in place. The quality of the work is excellent. We are definitely going to use MC again in future.

Eric and his crew started on the date we set and stayed on schedule. I found his price very reasonable and competitive. His team were all so nice and extremely knowledgeable, answering all our questions. I was always able to get in touch with him if I needed to.Throughout the construction they made sure they protected my home from dust and debris, which we couldn't appreciate more. The quality of their work was nothing short of phenomenal. They also gave us great ideas and really helped guide me with the overall design. Looking forward to future project with MC and will definitely recommend.

I was very worried as this was my first contractor i hired. But I am so happy with the company and all the members. They were on time, clean, honest, informative, and so much more. I really enjoyed that we spoke every day to go over status and answer any questions I had. I would recommend this contractor to anyone.

We were satisfied with them. We had a good communication with the price, they gave us a time, the schedule, and were very + helpful. I will recommend them. They will tell where they walk out in your house if needed. They will explain you for an extra price or some remain of material. They explain what was included or not in the price. Overall, they have a very good communication manners. They were very cautious and careful when working in your house for not leaving scratches or something unexpected. You cannot be surprised at the end of the job, because they will be explaining you everything that is being done step by step.

Went well overall. I feel like they could have worked a tad faster. Job took twice as long but the work was very very well done so I can't complain too much. The tiling work alone was beautiful. we didn't have anything too fancy done but you can tell the guys were expert tilers. Great attention to detail was taken in doing our bathroom in the installation of the fixtures and the electrical looked spot on...same with the windows and trim. Only issue was our wood floors needed to be touched up when painters tape removed the finish. The person that did the work messed up the first time, and honestly, it was just fixed and he really didn't do a great job again (missed spots, bumpy, put finish over a piece of hair!). The other issue was that the staff did some electrical work in the basement and had to drill holes in the wood beams. That was never cleaned and my basement is filled with wood bits everywhere. I didn't realize it until after they finished but now that will take me a half day to clean up. Oh well. Anyway, we love the bathroom and the work that was done by the staff of MC Home Management. Very professional staff but not too thrilled with some of their sub contractors.

Project: Frank (co-owner) performed 95% of the work and was on site all of the time. Upon his recommendation we went with a full gut and rebuild with all new walls and ceiling. Exposed ducts and pipes are now hidden providing a much cleaner look to the space. Both rooms had ceramic tile installed on the floor. The new shower (which is beautiful) is tiled from floor to ceiling. A clear glass door enclosure was installed after all work was completed. Finally a double bi-fold door was custom fit to enclose the water heater and furnace. (Again, this was something we thought could not be done due to the low height of the return duct. "What ifs" and "Might as wells" were all addressed and the results are above and beyond expectation. We would highly recommend using this contractor. Timing: The estimated time to complete was 2-3 weeks, however due to minor issues it actually took 3-4. Keep in mind that we did add to the job too. Cost: As quoted! Quality: Excellent - any issues were addressed and corrected. Integrity: I was concerned about leaving an new contractor in the house and not being home. I have to say Frank earned my trust and assured me he would always be there if another person has to perform work in the home. ie plumber, electrician etc., I had no issue leaving a key with the contractor. (This contractor uses in-house sub-contractors and suppliers for all of their needs - so it is people they have done work with before and for years.)

Eric and crew did a spectacular job for us. They showed up promptly every morning and worked non-stop throughout the day. Their work was of the highest quality and they took extra pains to keep us happy. They went beyond customer satisfaction all the way to customer delight. They scrupulously cleaned up every afternoon so that we had the house back every evening without any mess. Some of the intangibles, such as the attitudes and personalities of the crew - were just great; his staff were friendly and it was clear that would pretty much do whatever it took to delight us. It was like having friends in the house doing work for us. Once they were on our job they did not split their time with any other jobs except when there was a wait for such things as town inspections or delivery of materials that we ordered. We always felt that we were their top priority. Their price was entirely reasonable. I can recommend them without reservation and will use them again in a second when we have more work to do.

We met with Eric in June 2013 and agreed to start the project mid to late September; Eric called prior to starting and set up his crew to begin the bathroom; he obtained all the necessary permits and inspections. The workers arrived every day on time and were very neat, always cleaning up prior to leaving for the day. Kelly and Frank did an excellent job in both floor and wall tiling. They took their time, paying attention to detail which pleased us. The other contractors (carpentry, painting) also did an excellent job. The bathroom floor required extensive work, but turned out really well. They worked with us during the 3 weeks, making sure we were satisfied with every aspect of the renovation. Eric arrived to do some last minute adjustments which resulted in a really beautiful bathroom. We are very happy with the outcome and would highly recommend them to anyone.

Domenick and his crew knew exactly what their agenda was each day. They were efficient and worked as a team in a timely manner, following Domenick's lead. We were completely happy with all of the work from start to finish. Our next big job is to have our front steps and door changed, as well as add a deck off of our french doors and have already asked Domenick when he has availability to do the jobs in the spring.
