The sales experience was positive. I called and spoke to Joseph, who recommended that I go with the Bosch unit over a more expensive KitchenAid model and explained in detail the pros and cons. I thought he was forthright and appreciated the honest opinions. Unfortunately, that's where the good experience ended and the bad experience started. My original delivery/install date was for a Wednesday. On Monday I had something come up that required I reschedule, which I did on the same day. The woman kindly rescheduled me for the same week on Friday. Again, no perception of any issues or problems thus far. Friday arrives, I take off a day from work to clean the area and prepare for the delivery. I was told that because I'm in Brooklyn, i would most likely be the last call of the day for the delivery team so expect it to be end of day, and that the delivery team would call me about 30 minutes out to give me a heads up. By 4pm I'd not heard from the company or the delivery team, so I initiated a call to the company and spoke to a customer service rep. She explained that they are "just going over the bridge from Manhattan" and will probably be an hour or so behind schedule but they were coming. Again, no issues. Shortly after 5pm I receive a call from the company, a different customer service rep. This person proceeded to tell me that the delivery team tried to make delivery but "no one was home", and that they had tried to contact me at the number provided (the same number she was calling me on) but "no one answered." I told her I was home all day, and made it a point to not leave my home after 1pm. After a long pause for her to "find out what was going on". she came back and proceeded to tell me that in her "notes there was a note that my original delivery date was for Wednesday" and there was "probably a human error." I found this excuse appalling and was deeply offended by her amateur attempts to shift blame to the customer. What did the original date of the delivery and installation have anything at all to do with what she said originally? Here's a tip for all liars: pick a story from the start and stick with it. In my opinion, the front end of this business is slick, the sales team know how to close. However the back end of the business is severely lacking and shows a lack of integrity, honesty, and customer service. These three things are at the top of the list for anyone looking to do business with a retailer, particularly when purchasing high dollar value appliances. I was prepared to, depending on the experience of this purchase, spend a significant amount of money for new appliances because I am in the process of remodeling my entire house. They lost a 5 figure sales customer because their delivery team is disreputable and their customer service team are amateurs who are more interested in blaming the customer than actually solving a problem. There are many many retailers out there who deserve the business more than these guys, If they were honest about their mistake it would be one thing, the fact that they tried to shift blame and deflect criticism as readily and easily as they did just proves that my experience wasn't the first time they've mishandled a customer, and certainly won't be the last time. Go elsewhere. I work hard to make my money and i deserve better service than what Designer Appliance attempted to provide me.

They delivered it and broke the fan while installing it. They installed it in the wrrong place. Also, some pieces arrived bent and defective. The installers ledt and said they were coming back with new pieces to complete the installation. I called them repeatedly and emailed them repeatedly and Metin Ozkuzy kept telling me that they were coming back and that the pieces were on order which was not tru because I never heard from them again. SO now I have a broken fan without the pieces ....I am fighting it with AMEX and will also take them to court. DON:T DO BUSINESS WITH THIS ONLINE WEBSITE. They attract you with low prices but it is a scam!!!
