Arrived on time, ran into many 'issues' with the old furnace and the previous installation - was essentially patch work. This is issue we have found in other areas of our house - so not surprised to hear it about the furnace too. John and Frank removed old unit, had to fabricate extra fittings and duct due to previous work done by unknown contractors. Worked efficiently and never gave me the impression they were rushing. Stopped to explain details of any questions I had and made certain all was running properly. Surprisingly clean removal and install being this is an oil furnace. Got to use it last night - temps around 40 - works like a charm. We have always been very happy with Dixon regular service and their oil delivery. This was first installation and it was as promised, professional, pleasant and clean. I would rate them higher than an A if possible.

I ended up with them when my provider went out of business without notice and left me stranded. They heard the word and came out and I've had them ever since for about four years. I like their service the best, but I don't know if their price is bad because they offer a full range of programs that I've had to vet out myself. I was in the wrong program for awhile with a budget plan where the price is higher per gallon of fuel, but they accommodated me by allowing me to just put a credit card on file and then they still monitor the paper audits and give me the [10:59] price. They put a plan together that let me stay with them. I'm 55 years old and I've been through every problem there is with oil delivery and their service is second to none. They started with me in an emergency situation because I had a budget plan with a company where I had prepaid for a year and had went out of business. They came and asked how much credit the other company owed me credited me in full in that first year, so I've been loyal to them ever since. I had a problem with one of the country's biggest gas providers. They were having service failures that was leaving my business without heat and Dixie came in and put their tanks in place in the middle of a snow storm and have never let me run out again since.

They are unreliable and their prices are really absurd.

Dixon helped me through the process, talked to the tank insurance company, Proguard, and recommended a company (AIM) to pull and remediate. All this was done very professionally, and I now have a new tank in my garage. The sales people at Dixon were very accurate about the pricing and knowledgeable about the building codes.Dixon Energy has delivered my oil for at least 10 years, and I always get great service and honest pricing.
