Castle - The Window People

If you are looking for a complete window unit replacement which includes new frames and exterior casing do not use this company. This is what I wanted but is not what I received.

The new windows are wonderful! I went from wooden or broken windows that didn't open, to new, easy to use windows. The installers were quick, clean and courteous. The reason for 4 stars is that, one of the windows was measured incorrectly. The new window wasn't installed until the proper size window was available. I was given a 2 week timeframe which ended up being 2 months. Alls well that ends well.

The installer John was excellent . Friendly and did an excellent job installing and cleaning up .

I thought they did a great job. They were profectionist and very clean. No mess. The windows and doors look Great!!

Some confusion when original estimate was lost but after completion, work quality and efficiency was top notch. They stayed the whole day until completed and even helped re install missing soffit at no charge

The Castle install team was very professional. Removed all debris before they left and made sure i was happy with the install.

UPDATE 7/3/19: Do not be a sucker like me! I went with Castle, in part, because of their service guarantees. They certainly were not the cheapest option for new windows/doors -- not by a long shot! But, when I needed their service -- they were terrible. They initially told me a week to 10 days for a replacement patio door. It is now over 6 weeks -- and I still do not have a replacement! I took time off for a scheduled appt on 7/1 -- only to be called on that morning & told the door was not actually in. The door is FINALLY in their warehouse -- allegedly -- and they told me they do not schedule any service calls at the shore on summer weekends. Funny -- never mentioned this restriction during the sales pitch! Taking another half-day off on 7/10 for installation. Will be 8 weeks since initial call til I have a replacement patio door. The quality of the product and the installation crew were fantastic. The initial sales call was kind of high-pressure and sometimes the customer service people were not listening to me when I had questions or made requests - but overall it was a good experience and I would use them again.

We had 17 windows replaced together with the front door and the sliding door at the back. We have no problem with the installation of the windows. They are great. Had issues with the front door missing the peep hole. It took some time to have it installed. The guy that came back for it did not have a drill. Then, he did not have the correct peep hole finish. Finally installed it on the third try. Sigh! Had issues with the front door not balanced and always closed. Contacted their customer service but they said there was nothing that they can do. It was because of the house. This totally different from what their sales guy said when they were still doing their sales pitch to us. Oh well, lessons learned.

Review by Ingrid ,PA Project: front and kitchen exterior doors and storm doors replaced. The installation team was excellent They listened to our concerns provided remedies on the spot or contacted customer service right than and their to help us . The peephole on the front door had a flaw This will be replaced 9/24/18. In my opinion the flawed peephole was a quality control issue and should not have passed inspection. All in all we are happy with our doors. I’ll get back to you in one year to let you know how the doors are holding up against the Mount Pocono PA weather.

The sales representative Brian was very through in explaining their windows, the warranty and the installation process. We are very happy with the job done by Castle.
