After a few days the fan wobble seemed to get worse, we were afraid the thing would come down on us. We called Mr. HandyMan. They found the fan had not been braced properly. It had been installed using the junction box that had been used for the original light. They re-installed it and it now works fine. We can use the light OR the fan OR both if we want. And there isn't any wobble now!
Description of Work: We used this company last year and a father & son came out in less than 24 hours after we had a problem with our electrical box. They were great. So when we needed to have a ceiling light removed & a small ceiling fan with light and wall switch control installed we called them. They responded to our call quickly & professionally. An appointment was made & this time only the older gentleman came. He didn't have his glasses so he asked us to read him the directions. He left his clamp light in the truck & so couldn't see too well - he never got the wall switch control installed, we even called the company that made it to get tech support for him but he didn't want to talk to them. He said he thinks parts were missing. He was here from 8:20 AM until after noon. The fan wobbles, he didn't go up in the attic so we don't think any support or bracing was put in. The only way to use it is both the light and the fan have to be on, not at all what we wanted. We told him we'd send back the wall switch, we aren't sure we have all of the parts. We found several screws on the floor after he left. We thought of calling them back to re-do the job but instead we used a Mr. HandyMan from Angie's List.

Two (2) contractors, Father & Son responded to phone call within 24 hours, scheduled an appointment for the same week and arrived on time. They estimated the job fairly and quickly. We agreed on a price and set the date for the work to be done. The contractor arrived promptly, was very courteous and had all the tools needed to do the job. The work was completed within hours and the work areas were cleaned and returned to normal. All work done was done well. Borkowski Electric is a contractor who takes care and pride in their work.
