Elite think they know more about what the homeowner wants than the homeowner themselves. They are rigid and inflexible. Even with 40 days of no rain, they want to show up and mow the lawn. They do an excellent job with cutting the lawn but they want to do everything their way. The billing is problematic. They send it to a very busy inbox that sees a lot of junk mail. It is difficult to sort out. I would prefer being notified by text message. After they did their fall clean-up, my koi pond was full of leaves that I had to dredge out. I am just going to trade in my old lawn tractor in the spring rather than having to deal with lawn services.

I had a very good experience with them and would recommend them to anyone. Fairly priced, reliable, professional and personable. A good operation:

HUGE THANK YOU TO ELITE GARDENS!!! We have been using Elite Gardens for about 9 years now for landscaping and snow plowing â always reliable and do great job. When Tropical Storm Isaias landed our neighbors 100 ft walnut tree on our roof trapping our cars in the garage we called Elite to ask if they could help. Within 30 minutes of call Jeromy the owner came out personally to inspect. Within a few hours he had crew at our home removing the tree â Jeromy stayed on site to oversee the work for the some three hours it took to remove. What a relief and so grateful to Jeromy and his team.

The service was very good. They did everything I asked for. Clean and crisp work.

Jeromey Smith, the owner is quite knowledgeable about lawn care, landscaping, and other such issues and was responsive to our needs. As long as things keep going the way they are right now this could turn into a long term relationship.

The driveway was plowed within 30 minutes of my inquiry and subsequent conversation with the owner. I am very, very, pleased.

When you can get them to answer the phone (almost never), respond to an email (what�s less than never?), you may get some work done reasonably well (don�t get too excited about this one). However be prepared for them to not finish, stop showing up completely without informing you, and be completely unavailable for months by every means of communication. (Although to be honest I didn�t try carrier pigeon.) And also be prepared for them to show up unannounced after 3 months, perform work you didn�t ask for and charge you full price. Great service

The quality of Elite's work matched their tremendous responsiveness. I needed someone to start mowing the yard on our new house. It hadn't been touched in many weeks (since the prior owners left) so I need the work done fast. Elite gave us an estimate that day after viewing the property and mowed and trimmed as soon as the weather allowed. The lawn looks great and I've already reached out for them to do additional work.

Had an emergency that required us to get out of the driveway/lane. Spoke with Jeromy and his crew was literally there in 30 minutes. The task was monumental (we have an extremely long/steep driveway and 300 feet of private lane, all encased in ice) and it took his crew about 90 minutes with a truck/salt spreader and a few guys to completely clear everything. It wasn't cheap, but I didn't expect it to be...I was prepared to pay for quality and speed, both of which I got in spades. Highly recommend them and would definitely use them again.

What he did was great, however it was only 1/2 done. As in my first e-mail I mentioned I had a U shaped driveway. Only 1/2 was plowed and the snow was piled in front of my main entrance to the house---the snow was piled on the top of the U shaped driveway. Why was it left like this? Thanks, Gabe R.

He did a thorough and professional job. Clearly he takes pride in doing good work and meeting his customer's needs. He met me before doing any work to go over the costs and my requirements. I was impressed with how he handled this.
