put a silicone seal on the top edge of all the new boards to keep water from getting behind them as well. I couldn't have been more happier with his work and his price was just as he quoted. Very fair. George is not only a true professional, he is also a true gentleman. A quality that is hard to find nowadays! Thank you George!

George responded promptly to my initial phone call and came over within a couple of days to see what needed to be done. He called a couple of days later with his estimate and we agreed that he would start the work the following week. The first day he was here with another worker and the second day he came alone. His written estimate detailed all the work that needed to be done and was what we considered to be a very fair price. When he checked out our home, he suggested ways that some of the work could be done which would look good and save us money, which we greatly appreciated. There was one thing he wasn't able to do while he was here (replacing a part on my oven door) because when we opened the box that GE had sent, we discovered that they had sent the wrong part, so George just told me to call him when the correct part arrived and he would come over and install it. During the time that the work was being done, I had to run out to the store and felt very comfortable leaving George alone in our home. We were very pleased with the work that was done and intend to call George again to do additional work in the near future.

Well, I had the inside wood sills on 2 Bay Windows partially rot from moisture because of outside plantings too close to the house, no sun to dry them. It was a small job, and I wanted a local repair guy, he had to be located in northern Morris County New Jersey. Two contractors delayed making appts to look at my situation, but I called George Ferrera in the morning, he came over late that afternoon. He was willing to take my small job, and quoted me a price just under $ 300. (three hundred!) . The job was scheduled for the next week, he showed up at 8 AM as promised and set up his sawhorses in my driveway. He cleaned out all the wood rot, and cut 2 pieces of new wood for the sill and trim. The part that I knew I could never have done myself was his notching & cutting the new wood pieces in 3 places to carefully fit into the original so that all the window sill lines were smooth. His years of experience showed there. Everything was smoothly caulked, and all cleaned up. The check I wrote was for exactly the price he originally quoted, no surprises. He was finished by 11:30 am. I would use him again for any job involving carpentry, repair, installations, etc. He has a real knack for woodwork repair.

George is a contractor who gets back to you quickly, shows up on time, does what he says he's going to do, and takes pride in doing a good job. If you want a contractor who is reliable, you can count on him without any worries.

Very well. The area was left in a spotless condition. I call George for any household problem; he is the only contractor I call. After I bought the house he converted the front porch to part of the living room, added skylights, and renovated the bathroom. He has tiled the kitchen floor. He replaced the windows in the house. A few years later he did the addition to the back of the house - 2 bedrooms and a Trex deck running the length of the house, with sliding doors for access. I give George my keys and I go to work knowing I can trust him to be in the house alone. He is always punctual (usually early) to jobs, and provides reliable estimates. He's honest and dependable, which is something you don't hear very often about contractors.

He's a very hard worker. He is trustworthy and does good quality work. He makes sure that he does everything the right way and never cuts corners. He has a very nice, pleasant personality.
