+ -1 moreOverall it went very well. We called because our furnace went out in March. They gave us a price got the permit and got everything up and running in a very short time. Our water heater was brought up to code and the mess of pipes the previous plumber left was straightened out. It is now easy to see all aspects of the furnace and all controls are accessible. The work was inspected by our town and was perfect. Richard Beard, the owner of Total Source .... did the work for us. We havn't had a problem since.
Description of Work: They installed a new hot water heater and a new gas furnace.

+ -1 moreThis guy is the only guy that did it right and the reason for this report is to RAVE BOLDLY about the service and quality we received. He was a well spoken, well dressed, obviously knowledgable man. He quoted an exact estimate with no hidden anything and performed the job exactly as he said he would. I felt and still feel I can/do and would trust him in my home. I can't remember how long it's been since I could rave about an individual and service and glad I have Angie's List to sing my praises. In fact, having the opportunity to post this report is why I joined Angie's List.
Description of Work: I hired this company to install a new steam system boiler in my home. It hadn't worked well for 30 years. We'd replaced the furnace once before and it never worked well. This guy works with steam a lot and knew what he was doing. We learned since then that many businesses don't know about steam work. I gotta tell ya, this guy did an amazing job. The inspectors after the fact were even so impressed with the proper installation that comments were over the top positive and the difference in the heat in our home is night and day. We are EXTREMELY pleased!!
