Contracted Kurt Becker at Monkâ s to do a small repair and repaint of my foundation, mostly to cover pipes and fasteners from a Generac generator installation. As was done on a previous job, this was finished exactly as I expected; on time, on budget, zero hassle. Would recommend to anyone.

Monk's completely remodeled two bathrooms, extensively renovated our kitchen, and performed minor updates in another bathroom. Marien N. and her team, led by Rafael, executed the project developed with Amanda C. from Monk's Design Studio flawlessly. Marien's on-site presence and dedication were instrumental in overcoming project challenges. Her ability to find creative solutions, often in collaboration with Amanda, ensured the project met our expectations. Marienâ s strong leadership and technical expertise were evident in her management of the crew. I am confident in recommending Marien and her team for future projects and look forward to collaborating with her again.

We recently retained Monks to update our bathroom. We have found there is often a lot of anxiety associated with a project like this but Monks has a process of discussion that ensures that they and the customer have a complete understanding of the requirements and the costs. On the day the actual work was to begin we met Nelson Santiago and his team of craftsmen. Nelson was the coordinator assigned to us. He kept us well informed about the various stages from demolition to installation through to completion. He would also ensure the quality of the work every day and discuss with us any problems along the way as will happen with a home that is one hundred years old. He also scheduled the electrician who came in to install the exhaust/heating fan which also required some upgraded wiring. Having one person as a point of contact is the best thing about Monks service as he is your eyes and ears and Nelson made us feel quite comfortable that nothing was overlooked. We were very happy with our Monks experience from the selection of materials to the high quality of workmanship and the excellent communication.

It takes a special type of character to be an estimatorâ patience, good communication skills, and knowledge of all products and construction. Roberto is that special person. I have total confidence in him and his team. He is a great person to work with. Looking forward to our next project â a bathroom.

As a realtor, I have referred Kurt Becker from Monk's to many clients over the years. I finally was able to ask him for assistance to help with my own home, and he gave detailed and thorough estimates for the scope of work. The foreman and his crew were polite, professional and did excellent work. They painted the floors and walls of our very old basement (among other things) and transformed the space. I would highly recommend using Kurt and his crew and hope to work with them again.

I needed a kitchen ceiling restored after water damage. It was a fairly small job but Monk's treated it the same as a full house project. Project included replacement of kitchen ceiling drywall, spackling and sanding, painting kitchen an adjacent dining room ceilings as well as kitchen soffits. From Kurt, the project manager to Huibel, the foreman, and his team to followup from the main office, I was impressed throughout the project by the skill, patience, and professionalism shown by Monk's. I would definitely recommend them and look forward to working with Monk's in the future.

The experience working with Mike Mina and Monk's was nothing short of excellent. It was a smaller roject for us...We had a relatively new deck with a portion roofed over, and we were looking to install screens to "enclose" the area. Mike came in, spoke with us about our vision, took his measurements and had a quote to us within a couple of days. We were fortunate enough to be able to schedule the work the following week. The job that was anticipated to take 4 days took two...Mike checked in with us at every step of the process. We could not be happier with the result. Would absolutely recommend them to anyone!

Monkâ s replaced our attic ladder at the top of our basement stairs. They were awesome to work with. Great communication, on time, work was done fast, all good things. So glad our ladder is safe and sturdy again. We went with Monkâ s because we wanted to ensure that it was done right. Thank you!

We recently used Monkâ s for a guest bathroom gut and re-do. We decided to go with them, as our neighbors used them for a master bathroom and were quite happy. We called them and they were immediately responsive, making an appointment to come over for an initial walk-through. From there they provided an extremely thorough and detailed estimate. Based on that, along with our neighborâ s review, we decided to use them. Well, we could not have been happier. Their communication was excellent and clear. Everything was documented. The amount of information provided to us was incredible. There was nothing left to the imagination. It was all extremely comprehensive and transparent. Any questions we had were answered immediately and clarified. There was also no problem if we wanted to buy some of the materials/fixtures ourselves (which we did). Zero pressure to buy through them, although anything bought through them they would guarantee. They were extremely prompt, always arriving exactly when they said they would. They were courteous and kind. No question of ours was too trivial, too dumb, too naïve. Everything was treated with respect. Issues identified along the way were IMMEDIATELY corrected without question. This was truly a partnership, and they went out of their way to make sure we were happy. We were consulted throughout the project for anything they were unsure of or for anything needing further discussion. We left them alone in our house without reservation and felt at ease in doing so. They covered floors and cleaned up every night after themselves. The project manager, Chris, was our go-to guy throughout the project. He approached our questions and concerns calmly and ensured our issues were immediately resolved. He knows his stuff and shared his knowledge freely. He took an active approach and checked in frequently with us. Our crew was headed up by a gentleman named Ivan, who could not have been more respectful, helpful and willing. He and his teamâ s work was meticulous and any issues that arose (yes, issues will always come up in large projects, so donâ t freak out!) were dealt with and corrected immediately with no questions asked. We felt all the way through the process that they had a vested interest in the success of our new bathroom! Lucia was the person who kept all of our finances in line. She was meticulous in her communication and extremely detail oriented. I felt confident that every penny was properly accounted for. In fact, weeks after the project was completed, she contacted me to let me know I was due a $39.00 credit! Nothing escaped her keen eye. All in all we could not be happier with our beautiful new bathroom and we look forward to using Monkâ s in the future.

Matt Ayers and his crew did an excellent job gutting a 40-year-old bathroom and replacing it with a new shower, toilet, countertops, sinks, flooring and tiles. They always showed up when expected, worked around my schedule, were friendly, courteous and professional, and did quality work. A few of the workers did not have strong English, but they are very good at using smartphone translation software and there were no communication problems at all. All drop cloths, supplies and tools were removed from the job area each day and stowed away. Matt visited or followed up by phone or email on an ongoing basis. The only minor hitch was that the external tiling vendor sent a box of slightly warped shower tiles. This was corrected immediately with no inconvenience or added cost to me. The job quote was a bit of sticker shock initially but over time I realized you get what you pay for, especially after hearing about negative experiences friends have had with other home remodelers. Overall, very happy.

We were very pleased with the work done by Monk's crew under the direction of Chris Klug, Project Manager. The work was completed beautifully and ahead of schedule. Chris Klug saw to every detail and was always on hand to answer any questions and concerns. Our designer, Kala Rae, also from Monk's, gave us an excellent design that maximized the space with an updated look!

I hired Monks to update my condo master bath â the entire process from design to completion was very easy and Matt Ayers the project manager and his team did a great job. The crew was polite and professional. Admittedly there were one or two minor delays, but Matt did a great job to ensure the project moved along and that I was pleased with the outcome. Iâ m very happy with my new bathroom!

I recently hired Monkâ s to repair flood damage caused to my finished basement from a pipe burst. They cut out and replaced a lot of dry wall and insulation, replaced molding, made any other necessary repairs and painted. We could not have been happier with experience from beginning to end. Mike Mina went above and beyond to ensure the whole project went smoothly and Franz and his team did impeccable work. We have had many projects done on our home- both big and small. I can honestly say, none of them have been so worry free. Pricing was very fair and it was completed beautifully in the exact amount of time and for the exact amount of money discussed. Very neat , timely and courteous

Hello Ty, I know how you value customer feedback and how important it is for running a successful business. I would like to take a few minutes say how pleased Marilyn and I were with Matthew as our project manager. A little background on myself. In my previous life I was a graphic designer with account representative duties. I know how challenging it can be as a liason between clients and the people you work with. You have to make sure the customer feels he can trust you and you have to keep things in line with the company. As stated previously, our kitchen came with a few challenges, some obvious and some no so. Matthew met these challenges head on. Being well organized and prepared Matthew was able to focus on the big picture all the while coordinating with electricians, plumbers, flooring refinishers, cabinet installers, ect. Throughout the process Matthew kept us informed of any possible problems and was always available to discuss any issues we may have. In our experience we believe Matthew has shown to be a very good project manager with strong attention to detail, knowledgeable on the scope of the project and an engaging personality. We recently had Monks completely redo one bathroom, and are under contract for the second one. Their impressive Morristown showroom first attracted us to their company. The finished product was exponentially greater! Matthew Ayers and his crew was very efficient, meticulous, and clean throughout the project. When some unanticipated plumbing and electrical issues occurred, Matthew immediately made contact with the necessary people, and the situations were quickly resolved. Whenever we had questions and scheduling issues, Matthew responded quickly to our phone calls/emails/texts. We never felt stress during the entire process. I am certain that we could have saved a lot of money by using another company to do the work. However, we are convinced that the dollars were well spent. This is why we will be seeing Matthew and Monks again for our next bathroom redo. Our dog Salem is equally excited to see the Monk's crew again, because he got along great with Matthew throughout the project.

I would highly recommend Monks for exterior painting. Kurt was very professional and thorough with the estimate and was happy to answer our questions. Greiven did a nice job painting and cleaned up after himself when the job was complete.

We hired Monk's to do painting and flooring work on the entire second floor at my mom's house. Kurt did a great job of prepping us for what to expect in terms of timelines and process. Our foreman Huibel did a wonderful job of keeping my mom informed on a daily basis of his progress. He and his crew did excellent, quality work and my mom was super happy with the finished product. Monk's has done a lot of work for us in the past in addition to the flooring and painting, including wainscotting, window and door install, as well as a new composite deck. We are hiring them again to paint the interior of the garage and to install some workbenches and shelving for storage. We can't wait for this work to be done as it's going to make a huge difference. Highly recommend them!
