We hired Monk's to do a 300k remodel of our basement because we decided to move my mom into our home permanently. The end result was more or less perfection. From start to finish, the team worked tirelessly to ensure our satisfaction. I'd like to specifically commend Jared who was extremely thorough by getting us started in the process; Joey B., our project manager who was available to us whenever we needed (there was never a worry that he wouldn't get back to us via text, addressing any needs that arose), and was on-site nearly daily. He seemed to take a personal interest in the project ensuring our overall contentment. And the workers...WOW...nicest guys...and skilled! I cannot compliment their work enough. I highly recommend Monk's Home Improvements; we are definitely going to use them again.

We had our staircase refinished by Monk's, and are very happy with the results! The project entailed both refinishing the railing & painting the risers, spindles and moldings, which required using 2 different crews. Monk's was the only company we contacted who had the capability to provide both services, and to coordinate the 2 crews, which they did seamlessly. Everyone we dealt with at Monk's was knowledgeable, professional and concerned with making sure that we were 100% satisfied with the end results. We would definitely recommend Monk's and would hire them again.

The Monk’s team was terrific! Ward - the Project Manager - was a pleasure to work with and made sure that each element of the plan was executed to our satisfaction. Jason Solomon's crew at Monk's did a fantastic job of power washing and staining our large wooden deck. They were quick, detail-oriented, and responsive. The deck looks wonderful and the price of the job was very reasonable. I highly recommend Monk's Home Improvement.

The Monks showroom had lots of flooring samples, and Mike Drohan was great to work with. He explained our options clearly and helped us understand what considerations to keep in mind as we made our decision.

This is the second time I have invited Monks and Ward to quote a project in my house. Previously Monks painted and installed flooring in my house which turned out fantastic. This time we wanted to convert our covered porch into a mudroom. After receiving his quote (which was very reasonable) we met Vince as Project Manager and his foreman, Alonzo. Vince coordinated the project including inspections. Alonzo and his crew built the room. Start to finish it was a great experience. I would recommend Monks and will recommend Monks to my family and friends for all of their renovation.needs.

Monk's is exceptional. I was so impressed by Alberto and John's professionalism, flexibility, communications, and how they managed their crew and the timelines. They minimized disruption for us as much as possible. The final product, after a month of sanding, scraping, priming, carpentry and then two coats of paint, is truly extraordinary. My two hundred year old home looks brand new! I am so grateful for their work, the attention to detail was unparalleled, and their willingness to do things even outside the scope, like fixing my gate latch, have put them in a class all their own. Alberto was on site almost everyday with the crew, responding immediately to my questions or requests, and ensuring my voice in every decision being made. They also stayed on budget despite all the unforeseen issues that needed to be resolved so I was really thankful for that. Overall, they exceeded my expectations and I am so thrilled to know my five-generation family home will be set now for another 25 years. Thank you Alberto and John!

Mike and Victor have been fantastic. Mike is responsive and accommodating. Victor and his crew do great work and are always professional. They have been back several times over the last two years to paint the entire house inside and out. They also did some exterior repair work and refinished our kitchen cabinets. My husband and I are very happy with the work Monk has done for us.

Matt and the crew from Monk’s Home Improvement did a great job with our kitchen renovation. They finished job on time, on budget, and left our home clean after project was complete. I would definitely use them again if needed for another project.

I received absolutely amazing service from George and Ziggy. My little project was there for a few years but I wan never able to find the best team to do the job. With the team from Monks, it was completed in 2 days with 120% satisfaction!!! It was easy, efficient and great quality, I can only recommend the team with nothing else! Working with Monks was an absolute pleasure. Our full bathroom renovation needed to be completely wheelchair accessible, so we’re very happy we chose Monks! Starting in the design showroom, Lucia Mastronardi carefully hand-selected several styles of tile and coordinating cabinets to help us narrow down our overall design, all the way down to the accessible hardware. Her 3D renderings illustrated the project beautifully, which made any further choices so easy. Once we’d decided on our design, we loved that our project team came back a second time to double-check all measurements before ordering materials or beginning demolition. We also agreed to a very thoroughly priced out invoice prior to starting work. Joe Corticada headed up project management along with Jose Roca. They were both so helpful and very respectful of our home, keeping us updated throughout our project. We had a few unexpected changes to the project scope due to our slab foundation style, but they handled those issues quickly and efficiently. We were able to live comfortably alongside construction as the team made sure to lay down drop cloths, tape off closets, and clean up each day. Every time we had questions, Joe was easy to reach and always put our minds at ease. Our finished bathroom is everything we’d imagined! We have a gorgeous roll-in shower and accessible floating vanity with beautiful modern tile and accessories throughout. We will absolutely call Monks for our next project!

We have used Monk’s for about a decade now and we are always pleased with their work. They are very responsive on the phone for scheduling, estimates, etc. and they do what they say they will do. We have used them for a wide range of projects including carpentry, drywall repair, beadboard, door repair, door replacement, handyman-type projects, etc. Very highly recommend. George is great to work with.

We had 2 and a half bathrooms remodeled and are extremely happy with the final product. Bill Buckner was the project manager and was great to work with. He was responsive and kepy everything on schedule. The crew cleaned up at the end of every day and we could not be happier with the final product.

We used Monk’s to gut and redo our daughter’s bath in New Jersey from our home in Florida. Despite working remotely, the entire project went smoothly. From the design by designer, Amanda Cook, through the construction, overseen by Joey Valerio, the responsiveness, communication and work was excellent. The job was started and completed on time as predicted. We definitely recommend them and would use them again.

I am thrilled with the job Monk’s did on our powder room and hall bathroom! Cortney Tripodi guided us through ordering all the items that satisfied our needs, style and budget. I don’t think we could have done it without her expertise. And she was pivotal in seamlessly resolving product issues !! Our product manager Vincent Pileggi always came by the job to resolve any issues and keep the job going. The workmen were also great, skilled and responsible.

We went with Monks based on all the great reviews. Interesting was afterwards speaking with folks who were not pleased. The biggest issue is once they are gone they do not respond. That is our situation also. They go dark. No sense going into details on our bathroom. We are not alone

We just remodeled our main bathroom with Monks. We are so happy with the outcome and with the entire process from design to construction. The staff at the showroom and on the job site were professional and respectful and did great work. We live in an older home with some challenges and attention was paid to details. We will definitely recommend them to friends and family and look forward to future projects with them.
