We signed the contract for plumbing in 2011 it is 2013 and plumbing is still go on. Yes we had some set backs however the plumbing should have been completed. When I confronted him recently he has the audacity and nerve to say the house has been sitting here for two years. This showed is true color being he was very professional until I understood the reality. He decided to wait until more work or something to complete the house. I was under the impression all the plumbing was completed except for the valves. He repeatedly said that is all that was needed. In addition he kept blaming the builder for the walls. He received everything and then decides to start in the basement. After further investigation he is far from completing the work. Three weeks ago I asked when will it be done and he refused to give a deadline. In addition he comes to the house once a week if that . He recently blamed the job delay on construction access and not having a portable toilet. We got into an argument the one day he was here and told him I am voiding the radiant heating contract being it is more then twenty days. Again he says I couldn't. Do not use him!!! You would think $50,000 should be promptly and efficiently. Let see.

This plumber was subcontracted to do all plumbing for a kitchen addition in the summer of 2009. He was not the plumber my contractor told me that he would be using when I signed to original contract. The plumber ignored the kitchen designers drawings & had to move a few water & gas lines, and incorrectly installed a gravity drain for the ice maker - so he had to do a lot of things twice. He ignored the detailed instructions for the installation of the shut-off for the high end built-in freezer's ice maker, and I had to insist that the machine actually even get one! In the end everything was installed and hooked up. Not long after completion of the project we noticed a small leak coming from the ice maker unit in the bar area. As there were a lot of other things going on in completing the details of the kitchen, I ignored the leaked & hoped it would go away...Of course, it got bigger. I called the general contractor & he sent the plumber. The plumber said, while making the appointment, that if the machine was at fault & not his work, then he would charge me the service fee. Well, he determined quickly that the machine was at fault & charged me $75. When he left, I dried up the mess and took a closer look myself, it was clear that the leak was at the hose connection, which is a plumbing issue, not covered by the unit's warranty. I called the plumber, who was still in his truck & told him what I had seen. He refused to come back and fix it that day, so I got upset. He even told me he didn't want my money, but guess what, he cashed the check! My husband used a Saturday morning to do the work that he had paid the plumber to do. This makes a guy cranky! He repaired the leak - it wasn't difficult. While he was repairing the ice maker, he saw just how it had been connected and jerry-rigged to the water supply. We are nervous about what else will spring a leak! Patco Plumbing does not provide reliable, quality, or guaranteed work. He talked for more time than he looked at the leak. He was polite to the point of condescension until he started to argue about his work, then he became rude and took on a tone he might use with his wife, not appropriate with a female customer. I told my general contractor that this plumber was not allowed back to my house & that I would warn anyone who hired the GC based on my referral not to allow him to use Patco for their project. After complaining I got the service fee back.
