Description of Work: The contractor seemed very professional initialy and spent a lot of time going over the requirements and the material that needed to be ordered. We were very impressed with him initially even though he was a little more expensice. He gave us an estimate and a date that he was to start work. The first time we met him was 2 months prior to the tentative work start date. |He sends a text 10 days prior to the start date saying he can't do the job-something else came up and does not respond to text messages and voice mails. Does not even reschedule even after me pleading with him to reschedule. All this after I ordered almost $4000 worth of tile and counter top which is now sitting in my garage with my car parked outside!!

Description of Work: We called Mark at Talpol for an estimate on a major remodeling project at a house we bought back in May. Mark called back promptly, set up an appointment to give us an estimate, arrived on time, and was very professional. He helped us through the process of remodeling two bathrooms and gave us great advice on the best places to buy the necessary supplies from tiles, to faucets, to shower doors, vanities, etc.. He did not miss a single detail. He also gave us estimates for the labor involved for both bathroom remodeling jobs, removing all paneling and wallpaper throughout the house, painting all rooms, replacing all doors with white six panel doors, replacing trim and/or painting existing trim, knocking down a kitchen wall, re-tiling the kitchen and dining room floor, etc. Mark and his assistant Robert worked on our projects for 4 weeks. They were always punctual and they cleaned up the work areas every day before they left. He brought to our attention any areas of concern such as some mold on some sheetrock and removed and replaced the sheetrock and insulation and told us where he felt the problem was coming from. They went above and beyond. We added a few small miscellaneous projects which they were more than happy to help us with. I have to say Mark stuck to the estimated price and they did AMAZING work. The tile work and painting came out absolutely beautiful. The bathrooms look STUNNING. We are using them again - DEFINITELY, and we have recommended them to many other people. Great job, great price, extremely reliable, always on time, and very neat. Who could ask for anything more?

Description of Work: We needed to totally redo a half bath and control a leakage in the basement and gut and redo my small office. Coworker highly recommended Mark so we called for an estimate. He come promptly, looked over whats need to be done and gives an estimate explaining along the way what he will do, patiently answering all our querry and questions. That was already amazing we did not have that kind of experience with other remodeling experts. We were so impressed his honesty and his attitude, right away we set up a schedule for the job on hand. He come right on time and set up the work so he will create the smallest amount of dirt, noise or any inconvenience. That was again a pleasing suprise!.Bathroom was gutted down to the studs. New walls, fixtures: toilet ,cabinet,sink, lights,exhaust fan, tile on floor, molding. In the office wall refinished, repaired and painted. Basement had a french drain but only half of the place. He made a drain in the other half and connected to the existing network. Replaced the disturbed paneling and added wainstcoating. All this in 3 and a half day!
