I was surprised to read the bad review. I've been using American lawn Sprinkler for about 10 years. They actually installed my sprinkler system. I did have some issues after the installation, but they were fixed. They have been charging me the same price for the winterization for years. I have 15 zones. They were always pretty good.

Overall, this provider was more interested in selling me up new services than they were maintaining and getting my system to operate correctly. On the initial inspection they tried to sell me all kinds of things I didn't need (verified with another sprinkler company). I did have issue which were valid and they fixed them. I sprang more leaks and they came out to fix and the worker had no idea of the work previously performed. He said one zone was not working and then left with the system off and door to the controller left open. I had them back and the zone was working only to find several other leaks. I spent over 1,000 dollars and the system is still not owrking and I don't have a plan to fix it. I don;t trust them because their first visit with oversell and the fact they charged $107 without telling me before hand it was chargeable. The office behavior was the same. They were in their process and main focus was to sell me more repair work. I don;t blame them for the issues with the sprinkler system. It's probably old. I do blame them for poor communication, lack of a big picture solution and the slanted emphasis on the part of the field reps and office staff to selling more fixes with no end in sight. I cancelled my final close because I am getting another company and I didn't trust them to handle it. I will never use them again.

We scheduled a date in August and the service man could not confirm how many heads needed to be replaced nor what zones. The service man from the June visit did not document any details in the invoice (which I got my hands on in August). The August Service man could not even find the zones and wanted to perform all kinds of expensive investigatory work in order to locate zones. He then told me that most of the heads where over 20 years old and that is not so. This is a company that had been servicing our sprinkler system for about 8 years. I will never use them again and do night recommend them.

American Lawn Sprinkler Company has provided me with exceptional service in the initial installation of my irrigation system and it's annual closing and opening service program.

THEY WERE A GOOD COMPANY. I LIKED THE WAY THEY WORKED. THEY WERE VERY CAREFUL TO MAKE SURE EVERYTHING WAS DONE RIGHT AND NEATLY. THEY ALWAYS CLEAN UP AFTER THEMSELVES.
