I have used this service several times. The crews were efficient and courteous. They arrived on time. They were clear about procedures and pricing.

We have used Angie's List for several years and have relied upon their reviews. Although we live in Kansas, my father-in-law was selling his home in NJ and we needed someone to assist us with the removal of furniture from the home prior to the sale. My husband contacted Junk Rescue and had several conversations with a representative from the company to discuss the items that would need removal and an estimated cost. The final date for the service was to be determined based upon the finalization of a closing date on the home. We were unable to be at the home on the day of service, so we arranged for my sister-in-law and her husband to be on site. In the time between the original conversations of my husband and a company representative, my sister-in-law removed multiple items from the home for disposal. One the day of the service the crew called to ask someone to be at the home earlier than the previously agreed upon time. However, the crew arrived at the original time, even though my sister-in-law called to say that they were at the site at requested earlier time. The workers who came were professional. However the way that the truck was loaded, the price increased (in our opinion) unnecessarily. Following the original post of our review on Angie's List, the owner of the company contacted my sister-in-law to gather additional information regarding the services and the concerns that we had expressed in our original review. "The company was responsive to phone contact, came when expected and the workers who came were professional. However, the way the truck was loaded, increased the price unnecessarily. I only had a choice of yes or no regarding hiring again- i would say "maybe". it really would depend on what I needed and on a firmer price commitment." We appreciated the discussion and the owner agreed to provide a refund of $100. Everything went very well. The young men that came to my home were very nice, professional and polite. They were careful not to mark the walls moving the furniture down the steps. If I need furniture removed again I would hire Junk Rescue again.

They were a great company. I booked them on a Sunday and they were at my home Monday morning around 10:30am. I chose them because they also donate items and when completed they emailed me my donation receipt. The team was so careful about caring items out and not scratching my newly painted walls. They cleaned up, were very friendly but professional and worked hard.

Great Peter and Brandon did an awesome job and ate very nice guys will definitely recommend company and use again!
