Both aspects of the job went very well. George coordinated his work with the roofer and that was seamless. We weren't sure the siding could be replaced once it was removed but George was able to replace it. The porch repair turned out to be more extensive than expected. Once the exterior wood was removed, there was more water damage to the corner of the porch than anticipated. This could not have been identified until the exterior wood was removed. The drain on the flat roof needed to be replaced which needed another contractor to repair. The schedule to complete the job and the scope of the job had changed- and we worked together to re - arrange the schedule and worked closely together to determine the best plan to make the necessary repairs to the porch. The plan to make the necessary repairs to the porch was easy. George takes great pride in his work and it easy to see that he wants the repairs done the right way. We have had a lot of work done on our 200 year old house and we know when someone is taking short cuts. George explained various alternatives and we always agreed - no short cuts. George was very good at communicating throughout the project. He is an excellent craftsman and a pleasure to work with- I highly recommend him.

He has never disappointed and always been responsive, respectful and fair. Would use him anytime and everytime. He is the first person I call when I need something done.

In mid-2015, we decided to re-model our master bathroom. Given that this was going to be an extensive under-taking, it was very important to us that we found the right contractor to complete the job. We were introduced to George through our designer. She had just finished a project with him and told us that his work was impeccable. We are firm believers of word-of-mount referrals, so having a referral from our designer was a great start. We spent the next month working with George on the new bathroom design. After two re-designs, we finally had our layout. We were very impressed with the time George spent with us to make sure we got exactly what we wanted. At this point, we were totally sold on using him. When work began, George continued to impress. He walked us through the stages of the construction process and kept us informed every step of the way. At the beginning of each day, they would put tarps on the stairs and walkways to insure nothing would get dirtied or damaged while they were moving material in and out of the house. At the end of each day, they removed the tarps and cleaned up after themselves. When George brought his sub-contractors to the house, he was always present. This was comforting as we were not home for a good part of the time when the work was being done. Obviously, there is a level of trust you must have with any contractor, but George made us feel we had absolutely nothing to worry about. The best part of the project was the quality of work. When you talk about “attention to detail”, George shoots for perfection and accepts nothing less. It had to be perfect! Overall, George is an exceptional contractor who is competent, trustworthy and fun to be with (the Australian accent helps!). We would highly recommend George for any home improvement need.

George has done incredible work for us! He did such a fantastic job remodeling our kitchen, we also had him remodel our two bathrooms, powder room, install a beautiful carpentry hutch, and also installed new floors. He handled everything from the drywall to the electrical and plumbing. The work area was always kept clean, and was also cleaned every day before he left. We were very pleased with George's professionalism.

Excellent, George is detail oriented and provided a quote and he listed everything on the quote and did everything he said he would do. The price never changed, he worked with me on picking out the materials for the project. Before the work started he gave me great ideas on how to set everything up. Everything came out exactly how he said it would.

George and his professional craftsmen, plumbing, and electrical team did an outstanding job with the kitchen install. They were there when he said they would be and completed their jobs in a timely fashion. George’s careful preparation made all operations move along smoothly. From the outset, he worked to find out what our needs and concerns were, so that we would be happy with the end product. He was exacting in all measurements. All cabinets and trims are properly aligned and perfectly leveled. George was dedicated to our needs and always there for help. When an unexpected problem occurred, which would affect the installation of our hardwood floors by someone else, it was George and his craftsman who saved that project by offering to fix the problem immediately. Because of this, the floor project stayed on track and was completed on time. George’s impeccable attention to detail and planning was also evidenced in the installation of the backsplash and an additional book shelf we needed built. Because some of the backsplash tiles had particularly beautiful color and grain George made sure that these were placed in prominent spots. The custom shelf turned out exactly as we requested. We also continued with Aussie Home Remodeling, when we decided to install ANDERSON windows and an ANDERSON sliding door at a later date. George always responded to all of our questions and concerns.
