Our second floor bathtub was leaking through the ceiling on the first floor while the tub was being filled. The first plumber that I called said that he couldn't find the leak and couldn't fix it without tearing up the ceiling on the first floor. I decided to get a second opinion, and found Matt through Angie's list. Matt was able to repair the leak without going through the ceiling. He was prompt, professional, and pleasant, and the repair cost was reasonable. We were very pleased to have found Matt and would definitely use him again.

VERY pleasant experience all the way around. We had a toilet overflow the other day which resulted in a large amount of flooding to our home that damaged flooring, carpeting, etc. We DID feel that we had the situation under control, ie. there was no longer a backup/problem etc BUT we wanted a professional to look at it (before we put new flooring down) because we wanted to make sure there was nothing we had missed that would allow this situation to reoccur with all the accompanying flood damage, etc. When I called, Matt himself answered the phone and was friendly and responsive. When Matt came for the appointment, he was punctual and professional. He assessed the situation (which in my mind = performing a service) and stated that it was fine and there was nothing that needed to be done. At minimum we expected to be charged for a service call and would have happily done so but he did not charge us anything. We are planning renovations to our home in the future and will gladly use Matt Barron. Could not be happier with my first experience using a referral from Angie's List.

Matt did an excellent job in fixing both of these issues. This is the second time I have had work done by him and he has always been prompt, thorough and provided good value for the money.

Matt was very professional and got everything done in a timely manner. I first had him remove and replace a sink. I was hoping to re-use the existing faucet but that didn't work out after I purchased 2 new faucets, Matt came back and installed one and removed the old one and installed the second he even cleaned up after himself!!! He was on time, he knew how to work on older faucets which saved us money. He replaced what he had to but fixed what he could fix as well. We had a house full and he worked around us so that was very nice!

It went very well. We were very satisfied.

The sewer pump was fast, clean, and efficiently done - he even went above and beyond and problem-solved a couple of obstacles, like moving our piano out of the way. When the hose faucet was leaking after because of a product defect, he came immediately on Monday to fix it, and did so beautifully with a patch kit. Highly professional, and also very responsive answering service. The cost was fair and market-rate I think, these things are just pricey. It is worth it, however, to go with this consummate professional.

Who is not happy when he tells me to keep my money and made me comfortable that he was right. He showed me why I need not do it now and why it would be a big job because of poor access to pipes.

Returned call in timely manner, however although Angie's list shows he works Morris county, he felt that Wharton was just too far to go. Wharton is lots further north than most of Morris county...

I called Matt Barron because he is local and was listed on Angies list. His office answered the phone and took my information. Matt called me back the same day and set an appt. to look at the problem.. He scheduled the job and did an outstanding job. I have a pretty good background in the service industry and I'm a pretty good handyman but plumbing needs to be done right by a licensed plumber...IMO! Matt was terrific from the first call till the finish. He truly exceeded my expectations. He explained everything in detail and the finished job looks great. I highly recommend him and will use him in the future. If you want a high quality plumber that will call you back and show up. Call Matt....plus he does great work

While replacing my basement ceiling, I noticed that whomever installed the kitchen sink drain did a really poor job. It wasn't supported at all, had a bow in the middle, and was sloped wrong. I called Matt Barron to come out and take a look, and see what it would take to re-run the drain correctly while the ceiling was open. Matt came right away, and took care of the replacement ON THE SPOT! He did an outstanding job, re-routed the drain so it would have the correct amount of pitch, supported it correctly, and made sure it was 100% safe, secure, and proper. Excellent work Matt! The price was very reasonable for the work done, the job was completed to perfection, and I couldn't be happier. Matt's now my go-to plumber for sure. Thanks for a job well done!

He was terrific. He was on time, professional, and efficient. I referred him to my older sister who was also very pleased with his work.

Overall the work went much better than I expected. I had called him to come by and give us an estimate on 2 jobs, 1 was fixing the leaking main shutoff valve and the other to replace what I perceived to be a faulty mixer in the shower. Matt came by the next morning and he gave me an estimate on the spot for the main shutoff valve and offered to go ahead and do the job right then and there - to which I said yes. He was able to do exactly what we needed and did an excellent job replacing the main valve and installing 2 more that we clearly needed. For the estimate for the mixer replacement he instead directed me to get a better replacement part ( a new cartridge for the hot water valve ) and suggested that would be a far better route for us to take for now than to engage in the expense of replacing what really is a pretty good mixer. As a side note, another plumber, the one we had used as our regular plumber until now, took over a week to get an estimate back to us. While rate for the water shutoff was comparable, I wasn't happy with the price to replace the mixer in the shower and he didn't even provide an alternative option to save us money.

Matt is a very nice professional. I had a clogged kitchen sink and tried to fix it myself with a power snake. But I was not successful and even worse, I lost the bit of the snake somewhere inside the pipe. I shopped around for a plumber. Some quoted me a ridiculous price due to the lost bit in the pipe. Luckily, I found Matt. He came the next day after I called him. He was in time and quickly estimated the work and recommended a solution to me. More importantly, he quoted me a very reasonable price. He made several cut on the pipe, trying to find the lost bit. After two hours, it is not found. Matt concluded the bit may be stuck somewhere in the vent pipe. Anyway, he cleared the pipe and put them back. The kitchen sink was back to function. Matt spent two hours to fix my problem. It will be much faster if I did not lost my snake bit in the pipe. I am very happy with Matt's work. I am definitely use him again in future.

Matt was able to come out in a timely basis. He assessed the situation, left to get a replacement valve, returned and replaced the valve within a few hours. Then the next day the hot water stopped working. We thought it was another valve that broke. Matt came back out and determined that the valve was stuck closed. He was able to correct the valve so it worked properly. He didn't charge us for the extra visit or the time he spent correcting the valve. He was timely, thorough and professional. Highly recommend him!

I had a deck done in my premises recently and there was a faucet outside. I had him remove that to make way for the deck. He did a little bit of servicing of my kitchen faucet. There was also a leak there that he fixed. I had used him last year too. He is pretty good. He knows what he is doing and is very efficient. The pricing is also good. I would recommend him.

First Matt came and gave me an estimate. He called to confirm and was one time. I got 3 estimates and his was the best price and he seemed very trustworthy (he was). We booked him for the job and he showed up on time. He replaced the garbage disposal and rerouted the small pipe that went to the ice maker. He left the kitchen area neat and clean. He did a great job and I would highly recommend him.
