Nice guy, great work, fast response, good price. He is my new plumber. You can't go wrong with him.

Matt came promptly, took one look at the kitchen sink faucet and said oh it's just a matter of this piece being tightened, you don't need a new faucet.. As for the toilet that I was told had to be replaced, Matt said you don't want to get rid of this toilet, this is a great toilet it just needs a small part. He was friendly, knowledgeable and in the end he probably saved me $800 in parts and labor. I would absolutely use his services again and recommend him to all my friends.

I didn't dislike anything. He also put in a water heater for me around the same time. So, everything is running together and I don't have my bills in front of me. He's done a number of things here. The water heater, the gas pipe, he did some toilet work, so I've had him a number of times.

We have used Matt before, and as always, he was great. Very responsive to initial call and setting up a visit. There was a very minor problem after the kitchen faucet was installed, and he returned promptly to fix it. Very highly recommended.

Mike was very professional, showed up quickly and didnt event charge me for the appointment... he referred me to a specialist for my problem.

Matt came out and looked at the water heater. He told me it was a good water heater and he inspected it thoroughly to see if this was a plumbing or an electrical issue. He told me that all looked good from the plumbing side so I should call an electrician. He was correct that the problem ended up being an electrical one. Matt refused to charge me for his time. I am so grateful to him for his integrity, wisdom and professionalism. Thank you again, Matt!!!

Fixed the valve to the outside faucets to prevent leaks, cleaned up the flapper to get it to seat properly and provided guidance on things to try with the bathroom sink before additional repairs. The toilet issue was resolved, but the sink solution didn't work. He said it might not. He assessed the situation and took care of most pressing problems.

Called Matt mid morning. Returned my call within an hour. I asked what he could before end of day (Friday). When he realized this was our only bathroom, he said he'd see what he could do and call back. Short time later he called and was at house 30 minutes later. (Another plumbing company told me the lead elbow/drain had corroded -- though the source of leak could not be seen from above or below. They said drain must be replaced ($1,500) and the toilet reset. Total would be $1,855 plus $75 initial visit fee.! This drain was completely accessible in basement, easy to get to, and is a 15 inch elbow directly into sewer riser.) Matt said lead elbow looked good from below. He decided to pull the toilet to look at drain from above. Elbow and flange also looked good... No corrosion anywhere! Wax seal was the only thing left.

Excellent! On time. Was very, very fast, competent and honest. Could have told me that much more extensive work was needed, but showed me the least expensive way to fix problems. Stuck with his estimate and was a pleasure to have in my house. What more could you ask for? Highly recommend Matt.

As usual, Matt fixed the drain perfectly. He had to dissemble the drain and investigate the cause of the blockage. He then used an electric snake to unclog the drain and gave me advice about the best way to clean the hard water deposits without damaging our plumbing fixtures. Matt is always kind, helpful and professional. Thank you so much again, Matt for all your help!!!! We are so grateful!!!

I found Matt here through Angies List yesterday 8/24/15. He is local to my home and we arranged to meet within a few hours. He called to say he was on his way and I confirmed I was home for him. He arrived on time and quickly assessed the work. The work was to move the cold water line to the water heater and the hot water return. They were run at ceiling height within a foot of the rear foundation wall of my home. To make room for a new structural beam, the plumbing run of about 15' needed to be moved inward toward the center of the house about 18". He quoted me on $500 the spot, including the 10% off he offers Angies List Customers. Though I told him I needed the work done by the end of the week (within 4 days), he agreed to come back the next day (today) to do the work at 9:00. Well, that turned out to be a lifesaver, because the contractor doing my structural repair (another Angies List find) pushed up his work schedule to squeeze in my project today as well. They worked together, sharing the basement work space. The work looked clean. He replaced old copper piping (which I said he could take for the minimal scrap value) with new PEX plastic plumbing piping. He used blue for the cold and red for the hot, helping me understand the plumbing in my own home a little better. Matt completed the repair in a timely fashion, cleaned up his waste and was set to move on to the next job. My wife reminded me that one of our bathroom sinks upstairs had a faulty drain stopper mechanism. Matt took the extra time to adjust and fix the component before leaving without adding a charge for the minor service. Saved me having to call someone else to take care of that (or listen to my wife complain about it). The next time I have plumbing work done in my home, Matt will be the first call I make, and I would recommend him to my friends and neighbors.

The services went very well. He is very reasonably priced. He is a competent, pleasant person.

Replaced a Hot Water Heater with complications. A couple of years ago I installed a new HVAC system. The installers of that system claimed that they had to use up some of the space around the water tank but that it was sufficient to remove and replace the tank as needed. This was not the case and to add to the problem the tank manufacturer had made improvements that increased the dimensions of the identical tank. Needless to say, it was necessary to remove gas pipes and replace them during the installation which took about 4 hours and was totally successful. I would be remiss if I didn't mention that I have a service contract with the utility company for the Hot Water Tank. Prior to calling Matt Barron, I called the utility company and was told that they were all booked up because of AC problems and that they would put me on stand by without anything more specific. I immediately called Matt Barron and he replaced the tank on the same day. Thank you Matt !

Matt answered my call, and told me he could come over that afternoon (this was not an emergency) to replace two rusted valves (washing machine hoses attached to them). He was at my home about 3 hours later, and quickly replaced the old valves with new ones. He was very friendly, and I consider the price very reasonable.

Matt was an absolute pleasure to work with. He was on time and called before arriving. He was very fair in pricing for the amount of work he did at the house. He came with his truck that had tons of items for what seemed like any job needed. I had a pipe leading to an outside faucet that had frozen and burst. I had Matt fix the pipe and we turned the water on and it turned out that because of the freezing cold weather, I had a second leak which was spraying water all over. He began to try and find the other leak, but it was buried behind the wall and this was turning out to be a bigger job then expected. He promised to return the following morning to continue the job. As promised, Matt and I talked on the phone in the morning and he arrived an hour later. I ultimately decided to have him remove the outside faucet completely and cap off the pipe because this was the second time we had a leak and I didn't want to risk it busting again next winter. He cemented the hole on the outside and was done. Job very well done!

My shower arm was broken at the pipe treads inside the wall. I was very impressed that Matt was able to remove the broken threads and replace the shower arm without removing the tile. Matt was very professional and showed up at my home in less than two hours after calling him on Saturday. If I would have had to remove the tile to replace the shower arm it would have been expensive and hard to find the exact shade. The opposite wall to the shower pipes is another tiled bathroom. Fixing the shower arm by removing the broken threads was a substantial savings!
