Description of Work: We had to juggle dates because we weren't always home. Finally clicked. There were a couple upcharges because we didn't get the estimated # of windows, skylights right, but the charges were reasonable. Windows looked great. Workers were friendly, didn't feel uncomfortable with them in the house. We'd call them again.

Description of Work: Cleaned interior and exterior of all windows of the house. the deal purchased was for 20 windows, however paid additional for over 20 windows. They did an amazing job, and windows and casings were spotless. They arrived on time and were courteous and professional. Would definitely use them again.

Nothing earth shattering, but enough for me to be uncomfortable with the process. Window cleaning deal did not include storm windows, which is fine...but after we were told that, we received a considerably higher quote than a competitor quote I received, which made me wonder about the competitive process of the big deal (no bidding process, upselling, fine print, etc). Not a big fan of the whole Big Deal concept.

Hi [removed member name], I agree with you in regards to the "competitive process" of the Big Deal. We are normally a company with straight-up, simple pricing. The Big Deal takes a lot of the "control: away from the business owner, and subsequently, the homeowner. In some business models, that works well for ease of service... in others, not so much. Either way, in an industry with literally no price regulation, the options can be confusing. At the time of posting, our price-per-window comes in slightly lower than the Responsibid national average of $13.14 for a double hung window. I have seen window cleaning companies in our are charge between $4 and $25 for the same window. I always guessed that beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and each individual business owner's financial needs are different. Yes, there are some outfits out there that are uninsured / tax evaders etc. that charge less because they can pocket the profits and pay minimum wages, but there are also legit companies who do a great job and happen to charge less. That being said, there are also guys that charge an arm and a leg for a shoddy job (another Angie's member that I serviced today had a horror story about another company who did just that) As a small, niche company (we only do residential), our goal is not to bait and switch, but to provide an all-inclusive service at a fair and transparent price. We probably could charge a lot more, but there's a fine line between fair price and highway robbery that I personally would have a hard time ethically crossing. Either way, the Big Deal was a winter experiment for us, and in some ways it worked, in others it didn't. Whether we run another one remains to be seen, but we will always have a 20% off deal running on our Angie's List page. I'm glad you found a window cleaner that could do the job for a better price, and I hope it works out well. If you never need anything in the future, feel free to call me. AMAZING! Chris was phenomenal. We bought this house about a year ago and some of the windows were NEVER cleaned- the house is almost 30 years old! But Chris and Nadine's hard work made them all shine. It only took about 3 hours and I think my house is transformed due to the cleanliness and all the extra sunlight coming in. Perfect spring cleaning! Chris was professional, personable and very thorough. I highly recommend and am definitely planning on calling them again next year.

Service was great. Chris came out prior to the work being done, counted the windows and called with a quote. Chris and his team showed up on time and worked the entire day cleaning all the windows. The windows now look awesome. Chris also pointed out that 3 screens were ripped. He took them with him at the end of the day, repaired them and brought them back on Saturday to put them back in the windows.
