Kathe organized our extremely messy garage in two days. I mean it went from a cluttered jumble where you were tripping over bikes and boxes to so organized that I want to move into the garage! I cannot rave about Kathe and her team enough!! They always showed up on time, they cared about the small details, they were cheerful and helpful throughout the long days and time-consuming projects. They helped me set up my home in a very user-friendly, organized way, making my life so much easier. I recommend Kathe without reservation to anyone who needs help organizing or decluttering or moving!!! She set up PODS storage for me and was the liaision with them, really helping us deal with moving things out of the house for both staging and moving.

I had been meaning to get our basement family room filing system organized for the longest time. From the moment I met Kathe, she put me at ease. No judgement just asked me what I wanted to get done and then we just got to it. There is no magic involved here, and yes you probably could do this on your own. But if you haven't done it yet, then you probably need help. Where Kathe comes in is giving you a place to start and keeps you from being discouraged. I had 2 four-hour sessions and 1 three-hour session and the time flew by. We talked and laughed as we organized my space. She made sure that the system worked for me and was sustainable. I now go down to the family room and I no longer have that feeling of stress. I highly recommend her.

My downsize move went so much more smoothly and with so much less stress, within a very short period of time, than I ever imagined it could have. I owe it to the professional services of Top to Bottom Organization and Kathe Roberts.
Description of Work: I was downsizing from a very large home and needed to organize my stuff and simplify my life. I had to figure out what to keep and what to sell, as well as move and configure storage solutions in my new, smaller home. Kathe Roberts and her associate at Top to Bottom Organization were of the utmost help! Not only were they professional and efficient and effective in helping me organize my possessions, but they provided resources for helping me to move, and hold a home sale to sell things that I no longer needed. Once I got into my new home, they helped me organize my space to accommodate what I had brought with me. I would not have survived this intense process without their help. Top to Bottom Organization truly helped make this major life change so much less stressful and manageable. My only regret is not having contacted a professional organizer sooner. In addition to being a working mother trying to juggle a house and paperwork l have struggled with ADHD my entire life. Kathe is so warm and friendly. She was so non judgmental and professional and she showed me how to turn a messy pile into order step by step. Not only was I left with a new filing system and an organized pantry I was also left with the strategies and self motivation to transform the rest of my house, not to mention my office and job. Kathe followed up with me to support my sticking to it and I have. If you are on the fence about getting organized I recommend giving it a try. It's very reasonable financially and worth every penny of investment in your way towards a more orderly and meaningful life.

It went SO well! I could not be happier with the service Kathe provided. She is really an organization whiz! She is never lost for a solution - no matter the problem, she says, "Here's what we'll do." She completes several phases of the project at one time - it's ingenious ! I was really marveling at her skill the whole time we worked together. She also left the place neat every time we worked together, even though the first two times we weren't yet done with the project overall. To finish, she called the Vietnam Vets charity to pick up our donated items - which were many! … Let me also add that Kathe is SO pleasant, so wonderful to work with. I could not have asked for a better experience … and yes, she is coming back to help me organize other areas of my house!

Originally I reached out to Kathe to help me organize my house to sell. Because I procrastinated, that didn't work out. I rented a POD and decluttered my old home so I could show it and sell it. After I had moved into my new home and was ready to get down to business, I reached out to Kathe. We spoke and I sent a few pictures. Kathe scheduled my to have my POD emptied and she and her team came the netted day. They took charge and emptied and found homes for and organized my kitchen and dining room. After I had been answering emails in my office, I came out to find them ready to move upstairs. While I didn't know where to start, they just went into work mode. My teenage daughter came home from school and Kathe even helped her with her messy room! What Kathe and her team did for me can not be put into words. I was living with numerous boxes thruout the house and just didn't know where to start. Now....I am box free and enjoying my new home! I hope to have Kathe back to set up my home office when my furniture arrives.

I sent Kathe an email - she asked for photos and we spoke once or twice before we started. I decided two days worth of work was what I wanted to book her for. Based on the photos she thought I might need more but we scheduled two days worth of time. She sent me an email in advance of my appointment asking if I needed any storage bins or other materials in advance of her arrival which she offered to pick up for me, I said I thought I had all I needed. She arrived right on time and we got to work. First we walked the basement and discussed what I wanted to do and what her thoughts were for the project. We got to work for five hours straight and made a huge impact. 15 bags of garbage and over 25 bags for donation and we had quite a productive day. My husband could not believe how much we got done - especially since he couldn't understand why I had hired someone to help me. She came back for a few hours the next day and we finished the project. My husband was even more impressed. He told me we should have called her sooner. From him that is great praise. I was totally impressed by her - she helped me get 10 years of cleaning and sorting done in just two days. To be fair - I am quick to decided and donated many things. She offered other tips and ideas along the way. She was easy to work with and even very sweet to my three boys who were home during the purge. I would definitely call her again - Maybe to unpack after we move' Thank you

Kathe comes about once a month for so many hours to get me going on overwhelmimg disorganization. We ve moved 4 times and I think we took everything with us! Now its time to pare down and eventually move , but we have to totally declutter the garage,basement , Christmas decorations etc. Kathe doesnt know it yet but if we move to Colarado , shes flying out to set us up properly ! Description of Work: I've hired Kathe many times in the last year and she is really helpful getting to the problems of disorganization , plus the actual GOING thru STUFF with you. I just didnt want any important papers tossed, and none were . After 37 years of work , I had collected a mass of papers , phine contacts , JOB contacts ,medical insurance stubs etc. We are streamlining the process for future work events. Hire Kathe to organize yourself for Cobra , Obamacare insurance, To Do Lists, ( my favorite ). and cd collections Kathe figured out my Fsa healthcare papers for reimbursement as I was overwhelmed with retirement papers. We found a stock certificate that was missing for 8 years! Unfortunately , it was a replacemnt so worthless, but she found it, not me ! Very personable , trustworthy and smart ! Well worth the money . You save time and adjita !

It always goes well. I have hired Top to Bottom many times and have recommended her to my friends. Kathy can be relied upon to: #Use what you already have for storage when she can, thus repurposing and saving you $; #Always be professional, showing up on time, working extremely hard, following through on your needs; #Help with the decision making process; #Be friendly and have a "can-do" approach; #Help you feel less overwhelmed and gain control over your space; Additionally she has abundant resources at her disposal (ranging from donation pickups, handyman and product recommendations). I am happy to recommend her with no hesitation!
Description of Work: Kathy helped me purge two large drawers of files, throwing out unneeded records and items I had saved that must have seemed important at the time😄. More importantly, once tossing and shredding were completed, she reorganized my filing system by creating major categories and sub categories. For example I now have a Credit Card major category in which there are subcategories, such as Outstanding Credit, Paid Receipts (only for major purchases), Identity Theft info etc. I no longer have to guess where my Tax file is!!!

Kathe responded to my email within an hour of sending a message/leaving a vmail. She was very accommodating, attempting to figure out how to help me within the time constraints I had. She worked out what time she felt she could provide within my limitations, how she would proceed, asking a lot of good questions. The only reason I did not go with Kathe is I had reached out to several people, and 1 other person could accomodate me across the full 3 days I was looking for. I felt so strong about Kathe approach and personality that I will consider her for other organizing projects I have for the house after this urgent one is complete. I will have her on my short list to use in the future, and provide as a recommendation to others. Her rate is very reasonable based on my earlier discussions with over 8 people - not the lowest, but at the lower end of the range, and what I thought was appropriate. She also indicated if shopping for organization, charged less. I thought it was great she would do the shopping for it.
Description of Work: I was in a pinch and needed someone who could step in last minute to get me organize a room for home office, on the weekend.
