 + 0 more. The initial install took longer than anticipated because the state held things up. We did not need to do anything but we did need to change the date two times. As I have been through renovations before this is par for the course. At least the woman on the phone was apologetic and kept me abreast throughout the process. Do ask for specific timeline and agree on reasonable expectations. The install went great the contractors cleaned up perfectly. Because we had some unusually cold days we turned the furnace back on for a chilly night and realized that it did not kick on. I called the company and Tom came by in about 90 minutes with a new switch. It worked fine.
Description of Work: Tom came over and did a full energy audit on our house. He had meters and machines and was able to pinpoint exactly where we were losing energy / money. Because he is approved in the state program Tom was able to get us a new high efficiency boiler, and insulation with a $4,500 grant from the state and $4,500 in a 0 % loan. He took care of everything and cost me nothing out of pocket. Although, I did not expect anything beyond the initial inspection it made all the sense in the world to do the work and begin saving money.
