Description of Work: Plastered and primed and painted 16 hours and 2 men 2 days Angies List ad said 2 men 16 hours for $549 Me Gika charged me $1130 and said Angies List ad was at fault maybe I should call someone else next time and Mr Gika never seen the job to busy!

Description of Work: Gikas was extremely thorough and professional. We chose not to use him at this time because we decided to delay the project to the Spring.

Description of Work: Exterior paint. They sanded 90%of the house. Every time they were done for the day, they cleaned up and left everything tidy. Excellent workers!

Description of Work: They left some painted and some unpainted moldings where they had already started to paint a room, the rooms also needed a second coat, I guess they were hoping we would rehire them to finish.

Description of Work: 6 rooms had the ceilings prepared and painted. We had had a number of lighting fixtures replaced as well as having had central a/c installed which caused some damage to the ceilings. They were very good, they covered the walls and everything below in plastic and cleaned up completely when they were finished. Quality job.

Description of Work: This was the best deal I purchased to date. George from Gikas was great. He climbed my steep roof, repaired several loose shingles, corked an area that could have leaked in the future, cleaned gutters and inspected the entire roof. He was informative and took pictures while explaining everything. I would highly recommend them. I'm a Realtor and try a lot a contractors between myself and my clients. Gikas is one I will use again and refer.

Description of Work: Placed order on line. Got a return email from the agent indicating that I was to call them and then they would call me. I called on Tuesday, MArch 17 in the am and again on Thursday, March 19th in the am, Did not receive any return calls. Waited until Friday, March 20th in the afternoon and called your agent to advise and cancel my order. If the agent does not call to schedule an appt with a customer than I am assuming I am going to have problems with service as I go forward. I would rather use someone else on the List. I explained all of this in detail to your call center yesterday.

Description of Work: They did a great job painting one room, I would rate lower because I hoped to accomplish more for $500/16 hour. Last time that room was done it cost $350, so this price was not as good. I hoped to do the adjacent hallway and some trim elsewhere, and spoke with the painter about it but I was never contacted with a quote or to pursue. Left me feeling I'd paid too much for too little work. That said, it was well done, they were professional, and cleaned up. No complaints about the work itself, just the amount of work for what should've been a 'big' deal - didn't feel like one. They paced the work and were more or less done by 3:30, gone by 4:30 leaving as much as 3 hours of work that I paid for (between two workers) not done.

Description of Work: They sanded and painted the entire home. They repaired and replaced the eaves which had been covered by aluminum siding and required replacement due to rot. The project took longer than contracted but completion date was not a concern.
