Tri-State Brickface and Stucco Company

This company is nothing short of AMAZING! Having been a homeowner for over 30 years with multiple homes in different states and many contractor (many battles), I feel qualified to say that these guys are the most conscientious professionals I've ever encountered. Since Mario's pleasant and informative first visit for an estimate to the gorgeous end result, this job progressed seamlessly and even came out under budget. The old-world style of their craftmanship, but in a very timely fashion, was something I wouldn't have believed existed. The impeccable stone and stucco work they did is outstanding. I consider myself a perfectionist but they gave me some serious competition! They even cleaned up after finishing every single day including hosing down our cars in the driveway! On top of all that world-class technical stuff, each and every polite and professional worker was a pleasure to have around (even had a few laughs). Honestly, I have been considered picky (difficult) by contractors in the past but if I tried I couldn't find one bad word to say about Tri-State! My only regret is that I didn't find this wonderful, family-owned company years ago!

The team did an excellent job and completed in what was considered to me, remarkable time. I've read the other reviews which were negative just before I posted this and was shocked to hear they experienced the kind of issues they were claiming they saw. The team that came out to my house were punctual. Day one was at 7:30AM in the morning, which entailed setting up scaffolding, removal of siding, applying the rainscreed, stapling the metal mesh, applying the scratch coat, and installing the moldings. They brought an army of people. They all seemed skilled at what they were doing and lots of "shouted coordination" happened which was fun to watch actually. Yes, noisy but warranted for the work they were performing. Day 2 was at 7:45AM, and involved painting of the moldings and only involved 2 people. Day 3 was at 7:15AM, and was an army again. The team coordinated themselves so each had a designated section of the house and applied the stucco for the scratching of creating the brickfacing. This was all completed by 12 noon at which point they began to apply the paint to the bricks to give it the textured look we were after. By 3PM, they were done. Essentially, it was 3 days total. I couldn't be happier. SO, also, as a bonus, they re-wired my front porch lighting so instead of one porch light, I can install 2 to give it a nicer bolder look. They went out of their way to keep the lawn and shrub areas clean and tidy at end of day. Only thing, just as a heads up, these guys love to smoke (chain smokers) so you'll probably see a few cigarette butts here and there but to me, it didn't bother me since my mower will pick 'em right up. But figured I'd let everyone know just in case you were picky. They are very consistent and work as a team to coordinate by yelling over to each other so if you're not used to the noise, get used to it - it's a good thing that they kept communicating as it helped make sure things were consistent from a shape/color/standards viewpoint. The only thing I regret now is that I didn't do all sides of the house. Their pricing was fair and they really hustled to get everything done perfectly. The one side of my house would have been only $9k more but I figured I could save the money and do a few things landscaping-wise to help with curb appeal. All-in-all, great experience and would gladly hire again and recommend to others.

Patrick and Mariusz Zygaldo are highly unethical and corrupt contractors. It is a disgrace that they are allowed to offer financing through GE Capitol . Patrick comes across as a very low pressure sales person, Tri-State will come in cheap,beware. Google them , they were indicted for selling stolen vehicles on Ebay and took a plea bargain with the NJ district Attorney to avoid going to jail . Ask Patrick about that and see what he says . The bottom line they took my money and did a thoroughly crappy job on my house , not a day goes by that I don't look at my building facade and just shake my head. They did about as big as a rush job as they could have and made only a modest attempt to correct the job. To be honest the only remedy will be to eventually tear down the stucco and redo both facades. These guys are real bad news and should be avoided at all costs. Had I not been dealing with a newly diagnosed Autistic Child I would have definitely pursued litigation against them. I will gladly provide more info should anybody desire to hear more. In closing they completely Stuccoed a front and rear facade in only a little more than two days. The workmanship could not be more shoddy and was mostly performed by day laborers. The house is cold in the winter , never was insulation bought up . We had a lot of issues with water damage , the idiots at tristate stuccoed over the weep holes on my windows, any guess where the water went ? To this day , they were the worst contractor I have ever encountered and I still wish I could sue them.

I couldn't be more happy with my experience. From the price to the quality to the smallest detail, everything was great. Miro and his team (which includes his two sons, brother and nephews - a true family owned business) arrived the first day as scheduled at 730am with two trucks and got right to work. They set up the scaffolds and removed the existing siding and disposed of everything. They cleaned up the entire site every day after they were done for the day and didn't leave a trace of a mess. They went above and beyond by adding some light fixtures for me before installing the brick and by replacing my chimney cap. They were very meticulous with every detail and went out of their way to make sure that we were happy with the color before finishing up. Too often you hear stories about contractors who just want to get in and out and take your money and don't care about satisfying the customer. I can tell you that this was the complete opposite experience. They explained the whole process, were very timely and clean, and they quoted us a price and didn't charge us a penny more than their quote (even with going above and beyond by doing some extra finishing touches for us). For me and my wife this was a big project and Tri-State treated it as if it were their own house and we are so happy with the results that we would recommend them to anyone we ever come across who is even thinking of bricking their house. I never write reviews but I am so happy with this project that I am making it a point to leave reviews for them everywhere!

Patrick was easy to work with, not high pressure. I got estimates from 4 other contractors for the same job and Tri State was the best price. I watched the work being performed closey. There were some problems that came up but were addressed. The house looks beautiful. They did a great job. The weather was a problem but they came every day they could work. I was very surprised I was able to reach Patrick by phone on evenings and weekends. He always called me back.

Not satisfied with quality of their work. I had a major leak that wasn't there before these guys worked on my house. They somehow unaligned my gutters from the trap at the roof line and its caused me to have a leak and water damage. When I contacted Patrick about the writer damage, he admitted that he is not a roofer and didn't know much about replacing gutters. He told me to call the roofer to fix the problem that he caused. They are not knowledgable about waterproofing but stucco work wasn't bad. Hire at your own risk!!!
