I recently had Michael & Sons handle the installation of my EV charger, and I couldn’t be happier with the service! From the start, the team was professional, knowledgeable, and responsive to my questions. They walked me through the installation process, providing clear explanations and recommendations tailored to my needs. The technicians arrived on time, worked efficiently, and were incredibly respectful of my property. The installation itself was completed perfectly, with all wiring and equipment set up neatly and safely. It’s obvious they take pride in their work. Michael went above and beyond what I asked for. He added 1 or 2 lights that I didn’t know I needed. Will definitely hire again.

Initially, it went great because(name removed) had a charming personality. I even left him a great five-star review because I thought he was a great guy and I was genuinely happy that now I would be able to charge my car at home. He also texted that I could waive the taxes keeping the total at 3650 if I paid cash. I was just happy to have a charger I paid him the full amount in cash anyway. My wife however was not too happy. They left a mess which I later cleaned up and thought was not a big thing, but my wife thought was very unprofessional. My wife was also very unhappy with the hole they patched up which is now an eyesore next to one of our home’s entrances and the other inside the close. I do agree they look very sloppy. I moved forward with scheduling an inspection which (name removed) said I was guaranteed to pass. The inspector said they were a bit sloppy and they should have known better that this inspection would fail. This is when I started feeling like this person took advantage of my kindness when another professional criticized the work and then failed the inspection. Nevertheless, I informed the electrician right away on 11/19/2024 through text. He messaged back that he would come back and fix. There were several attempts later to follow up, through phone and text. My phone calls were ignored but did get some responses through texts. For example, after failing the inspection a few weeks later in December, I followed up and he stated that the inspector was wrong and would follow up with the office. I received no response and in January I tried again to follow up. He sends a search result to Google arguing his point. I think I have been patient enough and asked what is the next step, do we dispute this? I feel like I have been had and taken advantage of. I paid a bit more than we initially agreed on, even though he left a sloppy job and I had to clean up after them. I was okay with all of this but to be left waiting for more than 2 months to clear my inspection is disappointing, especially when considering how patient and nice I have been about all of this, even though my wife was unhappy from day 1.

Excellent experience with Mike. Mike answer my call right away. He was able to come in person to evaluate my panel and provide recommendations. His quote was way lower than others. He did not try to upsell or do unnecessary work. He is very pleasant and knowledgeable. He completed the job in no time. Highly recommended.

Unnecessary panel upgrade. Cost me thousands and a broken garage door. I would not recommend this electrician.

Such a great experience with Mike, he was very professional charged very reasonable, he advised what needs to be done for my panel upgrade. The work was very clean and neat. Post finishing and handover, he follows up to check whether everything is going well. One of the best professionals I have worked with, I am very happy customer and recommend him for all electrical work.

Mike and his assistant installed a ChargePoint 50 kW EV charger and two plug points in the garage today. He confirmed his time of arrival and adjusted the timing per my request. He came right on time, confirmed the spot where it will be installed, and finished the job in about 3 hours. Mike cleaned up after the job, and patched up the holes he had to make to draw the wires. The installation looks solid and neat. Mike said that he dropped off the permit at the township before the job. No power was shut down. I installed the ChargePoint app later and connected the charger - very easy process. Waiting for the town to inspect now. Overall I am very happy with Mike’s work and professionalism.

Mike was very professional. He let me observe the entire installation and was very responsive to all the questions I had. During the install, he was meticulous in making sure all the wiring was clean. I would definitely hire him again for any electrical work that I might need in the future.
