All About Asphalt did a great job on the patch work for our driveway. After months of remodeling work done on our home, the trucks and such had really ripped up our driveway. Red was very easy to work with and was honest and upfront about the materials he would use, the cost, etc. We felt we got a reasonable price for the qork (we had four companies come out to do quotes). I would leave messages and my calls would get returned promptly. He even gave us his home number to call when we had questions. Red doesnt do email so the quote was faxed but otherwise all service was great. I would definitely recommend All About Asphalt and we will likely consider them when we have to re-do the entire driveway.

They did a great job. The job was done neatly. Red the owner was a wonderful man. He and his team did a great job and would have come back if I needed them to fix anything. I would highly recommend.

He was very friendly when he first came. Gave me quote about 3300 for 1250 sq ft driveway with 2.5 inch compressed. Drive way was removed next week, he collected 1300 dollars for removal which was not specified in contract, however he indicated that he missed on that. Also no gravel was put on, since there was already gravel for which he gave me 100 dollar discount. Don't think its right but will live with it. Promised to put the driveway that week, didnot happen. Next week passed, no phone calls nothing. I kept on calling and left him voicemals. He returned call indicating that his truck broke and he will get it done for sure next week. No response , no call , left voicemails. Driveway is removed since 2 weeks, no rain since 2 weeks, however the driveway is not put on and he took the removal deposit already. Only option will be to file a police complain.

Came when he said he would both times-to give estimate and to do the work. was very friendly. returned phone calls in a reasonable time. the best is that he returned calls!

My driveway looks great due to these two professionals. Being a female customer I finally felt like I was being treated with respect and honesty....I will be using this All About Asphalt again in the future when needed. If only all contractors were like these men. -

Bruce called me back the same day I called. He came the next day and measured and gave me my quote. The price was perfect considering we have a very long driveway. He said he could do the job on Saturday at 7:30 AM. Saturday morning he was here right on time but the forecast was not cooperating. We took a chance and he said if it doesn't workout he would be back and do it again. The weather just got worse and the sealant didn't dry in certain areas and then on Monday it poured. The spots that didn't get a chance to dry becasue of all the misty weather over the weekend washed away. I called Bruce and told him what happened he said no problem. He said he would be here Saturday and that he would call me with a time. He did just like he said and Saturday did it again and it looks beautiful. It looked beautiful the first time he did it except for those spots. Our patio pavers go right up to the asphalt and there is not a drop of sealant on any of the pavers. Bruce is meticulous, professional and a very nice person. I highly recommend this company.

I would highly recommend this company. The owner is Red and he promptly responded to my inquiry for services and gave me a very reasonable estimate. (one other company i contacted never responded to my inquiry and another responded but never got back to me with an estimate). Red was on-site for all of the work and he even worked with our township inspector to make sure that the work he was doing complied with the township requirements. (The township required a total of 5 inches of asphalt on the first 10 feet of the driveway closest to the street.) I had questions throughout the process and Red was either available by phone when i called or would call me back within a day. Red suggested lining the edges of the driveway with belgian block which i hadn't thought of but which turned out to be a great suggestion. The final result was beautiful and I received many compliments from my neighbors.

Everything went well. The guy who installed the blocks did a great job. The day of the paving job, Red (the owner) was working along with his employees to insure that everything got done properly. Our neighbor saw the "All About Asphalt" sign on our lawn and wound up having his driveway done as well.

They did an ok job, the only complained is that they didn't stick to the schedule. I had to call them every day to nag them to come do it.

We live on a very busy street, narrow, no parking and a lot of vehicular as well as pedestrian traffic, so he may have been sorry he agreed to take the job. The price quote was half of the other estimates we got and even though we had a lot of mud for quite some time, the gravel was inadequate on first two visits, the overall job was a success. I see a lot of driveways everyday in my career and ours is very well done! I have to patch a couple of holes in my lawn but they had really no room to move the equipment around This was a quality job done at a great price! Very good value for my money.

Red was very professional. He removed the old driveway, put the base gravel and asked us to drive on it for a couple of weeks. This way the driveway gets compacted. Then he put asphalt. Very fast and professional work. I have just one minor issue. The place where sidewalk ends and road begins, there is a a couple of inches of gap. I asked him to patch it up. He said his material is finished now and he will do it for $50 in next week or so when there is some other work in the area. I was hoping this was included in the base price. Anyway, still waiting for him to finish it. I had talked with some other contractors and they were ready to do the whole driveway in the same day. But I read that before putting asphalt, you have to drive on the base for a couple of weeks. I liked Red for this.

Red, the owner of the business, was very responsive, prompt and a pleasure to work with. Unlike a previous contractor, Red did not leave me hanging waiting for the driveway to settle. He can back to finish the job in a timely manner. The finished job is very well done. I highly recommend All About Asphalt and in particular, Red.

Initially I was not happy with one third of the Belgian blocks they installed. It didn't match the thickness of our existing blocks and had to be replaced. Red wasn't happy, understandably so, when I asked him to change them out but he did so by going to his supplier and hand picking blocks that better matched the existing ones. This problem would have been avoided had they started on the day I was incorrectly told, a day which I took off from work to oversee the beginning of this job. I would have specified the blocks had to match but didn't realize, before the job, they came in different thickness. Since the work was done I have had a 23' Airstream Trailer sitting on top of this addition and have hand no problems with cracks or indents. =) Overall I was happy with the way Red handled the situation and the end product.

We have a long driveway and Red was helpful in giving us a prompt estimate and then doing the job quickly and efficiently. Through no fault of theirs, the sealing was done just before an unpredicted rain shower. I called and they said they would do whatever it took to make it right and they did. They came the next available time and essentially put another coat of sealant on the entire driveway. We were quite pleased with the work and even more pleased with the service.

He was very neat, professional and nice, everything you would expect from a local vendor! Bruce is the individual who did the work, and he was recommended by All About Asphalt. I am using him again in a few weeks.

Red was excellent to deal with right from the first phone call. He was quick to show up to provide a quote and was able to squeeze us into his schedule despite the end of the season coming. We had some weather delays, but he was very communicative and is a man of his word. We had 4 other quotes and he wasn't the least expensive, but be sure you look at what you're getting for the money. Several quotes were less because they were using less product or didn't quote the job accurately. He showed up on time, to the minute, every meeting we had. Nothing was damaged during the entire job, which was a concern since one side of the driveway is lined with paver stones. Not a scratch and it's the best looking driveway in our neighborhood and the drainage is great. We HIGHLY recommend Red and his crew.

They drug up the old driveway and there were some pieces that weren't dug up all the way but when I pointed them out he would address it. The new driveway looks very good and I'm satisfied.

Price was excellent. Work was completed ahead of schedule. Would definitely recommend them.

After reading the reviews on this company I called them & spoke to Bruce on the phone. Gave him the measurements & condition of our driveway. He quoted me a price which was lower than another firm I called. He came on July 28th. We told him our concerns about getting any asphalt on our new fence. We had to leave for a birthday party. When we came home that night we saw that there had been a heavy rain storm & all the asphalt had run off. It was a mess. I was worried because my husband had paid him in advace. The next day Bruce returned assured us he would take care of everything & not to worry. He returned the following week & redid the job. at no extra charge. It was perfect. There was not a bit of asphalt on our fence. He was very professional and we were pleased with his work. We have since recommended him & his company to several neighbors. If you are looking for a reliable company with reasonable prices to do your driveway you can not go wrong with ALL ABOUT ASPHALT.

I have a pretty good sized driveway and parking space. There was this one guy who did the work; he may not even have been working for them, I don’t know. He put it on by hand. He did an excellent job; he cleaned the driveway. I have a good driveway so that was good to start with, but anyway he cleaned it up well and he did a even job of putting on the sealing. The only problem we had was that when he left he wanted to leave all of his black buckets in the entrance to block cars from going in. He had no way of disposing of his multitude of black buckets and I had no way of disposing of them either. So I told him to take his black buckets and he didn’t, but that was it. I suggest that if you do hire him, before you pay for the asphalt one should decide what should be done with the empty buckets. It is a little sticky, so to speak, discussing that. I only have another guy to compare the pricing to, who charged me $800 and didn’t do as great a job. I have had it sealed twice. The first guys did it really quickly and I was overcharged by him. I don’t have that much of a reference for the cost. The quality was good. Response was very fast; it was great, no problems. He came when he said he was going to.

"Red" (Donald) and Bruce and their crew are AWESOME! Their top notch quality, integrity and pride in workmanship really shine through! More specifically, after receiving 5 different estimates, Red agreed to match my lowest one and delivered on every promise including but not limited to: the start/completion time, pitch of the driveway, weed kill application, foundation work, asphalt thickness, prep work, and my overall satisfaction guarantee (and I'm a stickler for detail too). His crew is hard working and their pride in workmanship shows in the quality of their work. But perhaps the most telling tale is this - after 2 huge dump truck loads of asphalt was already used and they neared the end of my driveway, they started running short of asphalt by about one wheelbarrow's worth... So what did they do? Skim and thin out from other areas of the driveway? Nope! Skimp on those last few feet? Not even close! No, they actually went back to the quarry and got another ton of asphalt to finish the job the right way! Com'on...who does that anymore? These guys are AMAZING and I would not hesitate recommending them to anyone at anytime!

They did exactly what was promised to me. They worked right through the day and night. They cleaned up and left nothing behind. Everything was put away. Almost a year later, it still looks good. I had no problems with their responsiveness. They came on the date they said they were going to come, and they were done in the three days they said it would take.
