We had Wade Odell Wade scheduled to come to our house for a moving job and they never showed up, and never called. When I finally got a hold of them the next day they were not at all apologetic and didn't seem to care. Definitely avoid using them - very unreliable.

Our move from NJ to SC went very, very well. From estimating to packing to pickup and delivery, everyone from WOW worked efficiently with respect for our home and belongings, and the teams were a pleasure to work with. Everything arrived in good shape. These guys know what they are doing, and I'd hire them again without hesitation,

Both the loading team (led by Matt) and the unloading team (led by Leron) were wonderful. We had packed all the boxes, they packed the furniture. We had one antique China cabinet that we were worried about and they took extra care to pack it securely in front of us. The quote given to us by Chris Finno was right on with no surprises. Both loading on unloading was exactly on schedule as indicated. We would definitely use them again for moving but not sure if they would load in Ocean County, NJ. We have not moved before (was in our last home 38 years) and they definitely took all the stress out of the move.

Moving can be very stressful. But I could not ask for a better mover than Wade O'Dell. Their crew handled packing up our household items and furniture with the almost care and deliver to storage for 8 months. And when it was time for our items to come out of storage to North Carolina, they were punctual and professional. Their crew handled our furniture with care and made sure they did not hit our newly painted walls. They also, help me with arranging my furniture for us and would not leave until we were satisfied the way things look. I would highly recommend them!!.

The crew we had in NJ and in NC, same driver, leader different helpers at each end were fantastic, respectful, and treated our belonging very gently. We have so far had noting broken or missing at all, on delivery they were a full day ahead of what we were told at first, but that for us was a great thing!

I have used them three times so far. First in 2010 to move from Tarrytown in NY to Hudson county in NJ, then in 2012 from Hudson county to Bergen county and then last week from one town in Bergen to another. Actually I had a good experience with all my moves and that is why I am a repeat customer. But now I am scratching my head as to why there are quite a number of negative reviews here. They were good on all fronts: quote and estimate, care and most importantly speed of work. During the second move in 2012, it took 10 hours with 3 men: 6 hours at old place (because of a very long passage in the apt complex) and 3 hours at new place and I felt really bad for the movers because that day was very hot (it was 100 degrees something, unseasonal for June 1 week) but even at 6 pm they were moving fast. I tipped each of them generously for their hard work. Most recent move last week with four men took 5.5 hours and not a thing broken. My basement staircase got a minor dent or two but I am okay because the tall elliptical was a beast to move.

The move went fine, however I had some medication stolen and possibly a ring. The agent was great, but the packers you need to keep an eye on.

Horribly this company should be shut down ASAP! They are thieves and don't care about your property!

I moved to a smaller house so we had to sort through the storage spaces to figure out what was coming to the smaller. They were very respectful and careful with my things. They were absolutely wonderful. I pretty much would only use them.

All the communications prior to the move went smoothly- they were very responsive and answered our questions. The movers were great-- took great care of wrapping up our items for storage, packing the truck. They really worked hard and were very courteous. Will definitely recommend and use in the future. Only problem was that they were an hour late, but it was not a major concern for us.

We were happy with Wade O'Dell Wade Padded Van Services Inc. but we ended up choosing someone else. They were very professional and had a good presentation. They were able to fulfill one of the weird requests we had. They quoted us a reasonable price. We had to chose between them and one other company and the decision was made pretty much just flipping a coin.

Move was done timely. Slight problem on each end. If we had not spotted some items still left in kitchen cabinets, they would have been left behind. On the delivery end, We had to put a two pieces of furniture back together ourselves. Fundamentally a good move. We would use them again.

Move went smoothly. I packed/ boxed up our items. They wrapped furniture in blankets, lamps, boxed tv's and mattresses. They were punctual and professional and most of all VERY hard working. They worked all day with no breaks. I had about 4 guys load the truck one day and unload 2 days later. They also gave us some very good recommendations on where to put the furniture in our new house ( there was a sun porch and the lead mover, I forget his name, gave us some helpful tips on what furniture should or should not go in there.) Overall a very smooth move, would definitely use them again.

Their price was reasonable and they were good in services.

WOW was referred by a friend and the initial estimate was in person and the price received was competitive but on the high side. We decided to go with them since the referral was so strong and we wanted someone that we could trust. We were moving 2 complete houses into 1 new house located within 5 miles of each other. The quoted contract based on the in person estimate was for 1 full size vanline, 5 men, 16 hours. We packed everything ourselves. When they showed up to start the move, there were only 4 men. It took 13 hours just to move everything out of the 2 houses because they were short 1 person. The delivery was scheduled for a 1 week hold over at a set price. Unfortunately, hurricane Sandy hit on the scheduled delivery day and the delivery was pushed from Monday to Saturday because the company could not get diesel fuel. When they came to deliver, they had 6 men and it took them 9 hours to unload. When the final bill was presented, it was double the quoted price. The company charged more for the holdover, and the difference between the quoted hours and the actual hours. We were extremely disappointed that they mis-quoted the job by 6 hours. Additonally, ANYTHING that they have to pack up is an additional charge (expensive charge). The contract provided for free wardropes for clothing. We had planned to put the clothing in the wardropes ourself, however, the movers told us they would do it when they were ready (so we wouldn't be in the way). They neglected to tell us that they charge to pack each wardrope. The final bill took my breathe away, but we had no choice but to pay it as they collect a check before they leave. Overall the crew was professional and the service was good. We did have a couple of items that were damaged and we had taken the insurance, but you have to claim the damage before the mover leaves so that they can see it. Unfortunately, the damage was discovered as we unpacked, and moved items into position. Luckily most of the items were minor.

Mover sent packers to box/crate a lot of glass table tops and other fragile contents before the move. Showed up as expected, good service. On moving day the crew came wkith 5-6 staff and packed up the house into their van very efficiently. The crew was very polite, clean and "on a mission". Can't say enough about how they came on time and completed the moving out quickly. Our contents was stored in the Wade Odell Wade storage facility (in Oakland NJ) for three months before our new home in Florida was built. Called the company once we closed on the house and they arranged delivery within 2 & 1/2 weeks later. Driver called day before delivery to notify us about when they would arrive. Showed up on time. Onny issue was that the two crew members who came on the movingv van were supposed to have another "unloading" crew meet them (provided by United Van Lines interstate) at our house. But the moving crew never showed up. Nevertheless, the two delivery men (Wade Odell Wade) worked all day to make sure we were moved in. They did a wonderful job! We have not yet found any issues/breakage. We would definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone. This was a long distance move (NJ-FL) and they handled it excellently, especially considering we had them put everything in storage and then reload and deliver.

They did everything required and even more that wasn't required. They were a very polite and professional group

We moved on two different days and had a different crew on each day. The first crew was excellent except they charged us for more hours then they worked. A credit was issued after bringing it to the company's attention but I needed to make several phone calls to get the credit sent to me. The second crew was rushed, did not take care to protect floors and walls and over all very unprofessional. They damaged wood stairs, doorways, and a wall unit which they were not honest enough to bring to my attention. They left a sectional sofa half way put back together which I did not discover until sitting on it.The company representative was unresponsive and has not follow up with me about my concerns with his crew. I did call several references and received good recommendations from them but I would be wary to hire them again since the quality of their crews are not consistent and there is no follow up

We have used them in the past and this time we packed everything ourselves. Specifically, they loaded everything up and then unpacked everything at the destination. In total we had 25,000 cubic pounds and the price includes the insurance. I thought they were absolutely fabulous.
