They were great they didn't actually do the landscaping job but they created a design for my lawn. I was very happy with the out come of the design. I would use them again in the future.

I purchased a big deal $100 for landscape design and proposal. For a hundred bucks you can't go wrong. R&S called a few days later to schedule. Jon Feldman arrived on time and we began our walk around my property. I don't know very much, if anything, about landscaping so I really needed someone to guide me through the process. He explained why certain plants were in the wrong spot and made suggestions he felt would work better given our layout. Jon came across as extremely knowledgeable and competent so I didn't have any issues with putting our property into his hands. Within an hour or so he had all the information he needed. About three weeks passed and I still hadn't heard anything about my completed proposal. It took a bit of phone tag to finally get a date when Jon would come back and show us the plans. We got the date and once again Jon arrived on time and showed us the proposal. Jon's concept for our property included putting in area appropriate shrubs and plants, using existing plants where possible to help keep costs down, grading, edging, and even a vegetable garden. Within a week I had run it by the Mrs. and we decided to move ahead with R&S. Jon again came by to mark out the work the crew was going to do and we were set for the next day. Jon's crew showed up the next day at the agreed upon time and went promptly to work. Three men, Lionel, George, and I'm sorry to say I forgot the third gentleman's name, were fantastic. Within a day they had completed the entire job, cut down a tree that was not in the plans, and moved a nice tree to my father in laws house, reseeded where necessary and cleaned up. The property has been transformed. Two neighbors came by within a few hours to comment how nice it looks. I couldn't be more happy and ditto for my wife. R&S will be my go to for any landscaping work I need. I would highly recommend them to anyone who is searching for quality work.

They called me and emailed me soon after I bought the Deal with what they have to offer and to set up an appointment. I ended up getting a refund on the Deal just because I cannot afford another big project at the moment, but I will keep them in mind for future projects. They were polite, friendly and professional.

They have been okay to work with. It took a while for them to get back with me on a landscape design. We may use them in the future.

We have a few problem areas such as water drainage, yard-to-yard screening, over-grown shrubs and bushes, etc. R&S took all of this into account when they furnished their landscape plan. It covered both the front and rear yards as well the sides. When we met initially we walked the entire property, taking time to note the areas of concern mentioned above along with a discussion of our likes and dislikes in all areas. The final landscape plan was amazing. Full of color and easy to understand, very professional and extremely detailed. A detailed quotation was included for each area and included a breakout price for separate items e.g. irrigation and lighting. The plan includes a listing of plants, shrubs, trees, etc. all keyed to the plan. It includes drainage and a lawn irrigation system. The hardscape plan includes a new driveway with Belgian block border along the edges and an apron at the street. The plan includes a new walkway and front entrance steps along with a resurfacing of the porch. I recommend that when this special offer is once again available to take advantage of it.

Dave was great. He had a lot of interesting ideas for our lawn and came up with a great design proposal. I didn't want to spend quite as much money as his initial proposal would have called for, plus I was mainly interested just in updating our backyard (and not the front), so I asked him to make some changes and scale back the proposal a bit, and he was accommodating. We've been focusing on other repairs and improvements around the house, so we haven't actually gone ahead with anything yet, but we're holding onto the plans and will definitely consider them when the time comes.

They came out and provided a very nice design for landscaping. I have been in touch with this company because I plan to take advantage of their design and have the work done, I am just waiting for my current landscaping contract to expire with another company. I was very impressed with the attention to detail, follow up/communication and in-depth understanding of the industry.

After I came back from work, the lawn looked virtually untouched. So I took pictures and call t R&S landscaping. They told me that since there were two people that they can only stay for a hour, which they didn't. My brother girlfriend was in the house and she told me that they weren't even there for more then a half hour. I call the company for a report and recommendations. Never got email or a call back. Call them back again, this time they told me I would get it by the end of the week but never received anything. I know it only 45 but I can't image someone paying full price for this service. Also, if you have a new customer shouldn't you bring someone that knows what there doing ?

I contacted R & S and immediately received a return call to schedule a site visit. They were on tim for each appointment and professional at every turn - return calls, time frame of work, etc. When we decided not to engage them for the major work (we simply did not have the work done at that time) Richard was appropriate and if/when we have te project done, I will use R & S.

It went very well. They contacted me a day or so after I bought the design plan, and scheduled a visit to review what we wanted. He came when he promised. We had a good 45 mnute discussion and toured the property. He then said in 2-3 days someone would be out to take pictures of the property, and in 7-10 days we would have a detailed plan. I was not sure what to expect for the $99. We got a lot more than i expected. We have detailed CAD drawings of our layout, along with detailed proposals for the work we requested, with everything broken down so we could pick and choose what to do if we decided to do it in stages. Very professional job and the person who came to the house was excellent and very knowledgeable.

I saw the coupon on Angies list. I was contacted right away and set a date to come and discuss ideas for what I was looking for. R&S Landscaping met with me and discussed all of our options. I felt that Jon listened very well to what I wanted and sent a proposal for exactly what we spoke about. The prices he gave were fair and I think comparable to my area. We set an appointment to do the work, they came and did exactly what I asked for. The men were very polite, cleaned up my yard nicely and did exactly what I asked. I was very pleased with the whole experience.

We were very impressed with and pleased with the ideas and proposal R&S Landscaping provided. We did not do the master plan yet because of personal finances but I would contact them when we are ready to because they were so professional and responsive.

the design was thoughtful and appropriate. I did not contract for the work because the price was beyond what I was prepared to spend. Total cost was approximately 22K.

Went well. Won't know for sure until next Spring, and we see whether all plantings have survived the winter. Satisfied with selection of shrubs and trees.

R&S's Robert Schucker submitted detailed landscaping plans for the entire property, plus the replacement of more than half of a deteriorated split rail fence on one border. We decided to concentrate on the front and sides of the house, plus the fence and leave the rear area unchanged. My wife had very specific ideas as to types of plants, colors, etc. that she wanted. R&S accommodated her wishes and provided professional guidance in the final decision making. R&S replaced the the deteriorated portion of the fence some days ahead of the landscape installation. They removed and/or relocated existing plantings, as per the plan. During the installation, we discussed with Robert various drainage problems: a soggy section of lawn at the front of the house and a broken sump pump discharge under the rear deck. Also two downspouts emptied under the rear deck, one at each end. All this water meant that the basement sump pump ran almost continually during wet weather due to foundation seepage. R&S proposed a plan to re-pipe the the sump pump discharge and run new buried PVC piping under the back lawn to connect with an existing drain at the rear of the property. The plan also would tie in the two under-deck downspouts to the buried pipe. In the front of the house, he proposed a short run of buried pipe from the edge of the landscaping closest to the soggy lawn, terminating in a pop-up fixture set in the planted bed surrounding an ornamental tree. This would help drain away excess ground water from the wet section. We agreed to the additional charges required and the work was done. Now the sump pump rarely runs. About a month later, we had R&S replace the rest of the original split rail fence because weathered gray contrasted too much with the new wood. During the summer we communicated by email to fine tune the run times for our sprinkler system. As the summer progressed, several of the plantings did not "take" and R&S replaced them this fall at no additional charge. NOTE: The money spent includes the additional drainage and fencing work.

After your promotion, they took a while to respond, explaining that they had been overwhelmed with responses to the ad. When they finally showed up, they took my info of needs and then again never got back to me. After several attempts to contact them on my part, they finally did get back to me, and I decicded to only have landscaping work done and no paving work---they never called back....
