He was very thorough in providing our house with an estimate. He investigated all around the house to ensure accuracy.

Provider was thorough in inspecting all areas of the house, inside and out and sprayed according to findings. Prompt with scheduling follow-ups and re-application of pesticides to prevent re-infestation.

It went well. The bugs seem to be dead. They left everything the way they found it. They will come back in two weeks to spray again. They emailed us a detailed report of everything they did and the products they used on 6/29/13. We are very pleased with their service so far.

They assessed the house, gave us a fair price, and installed the termite stations and did a follow up. I thought they were thorough from start to finish. The only thing I didn't like were the people on the phone I spoke to. They were a little rude. Other than that it was good, and the people who came to the house were great.

Michael Drozdick,(pest management consultant) was punctual and pleasant. As I walked around my home with him, i felt re-assured that I was dealing with a professional. No "hard selling". Michael explained the options available to me , and gave me time to think about what i want to do. I would highly recommend him to my customers and colleagues.

The technician place traps, but was not able to catch anything. He left the traps no charge, which i will check, and gave me tips on how to prevent incursions. Great company, super service. We are now considering using them for a regular pest prevention plan.

I had a very large amount of ground bees in the front and side of my house in addition to a bird living in the roof near my back door so I called up Horizon and although it wasn't cheap they did exactly what they were paid to do. The bird hasn't been back since that day and I haven't seen any of the bees either. The employees were friendly and very knowledgeable so I even learned a decent amount about the various insects attacking my property (ground bees, carpenter bees, termites, etc.) while they got rid of them. I definitely wished it was cheaper but they definitely got the job done well and were easy to work with. I did get an estimate from them for gutter cleaning which I sorely needed but didn't have that done since $160 sounded pretty steep for a small home like mine. I got another estimate from a different company for $50 which then got reduced to $0 since I was also having them do some repairs to my garage roof.

I had a really amazing experience with them, I never thought I would be saying that about extermination. Everybody I dealt with was really good, first Glen came out to give the estimates, he is excellent, he looked at our needs and worked with us on our time frame, because I had to have flooring put in, so he was able to move up our appointment. There were issues that we had, but those were because of the nature of the situation, it wasn't the company but they were very good about that. He assessed the needs and tailored it to our house and he was just very knowledgeable and good to work with. He was there right away whenever I called him with question, he was really professional and we had a very good experience with them. Ricky was the tech and even when he came out, he was great, he spent nearly 5 hours just treating the area inside and out, they were very careful that they didn't drill in any space which had pipes and down. They went above and beyond and they covered everything and it was a really good experience.Their pricing was competitive, they weren't the cheapest but they were on the reasonable side. They are doing something very good and all their employees are very good. The girls who answered the phones were very good and patient and I am going to give them a call and thank them because they do a great job and I really appreciate it.

A rep came out, inspected, sat down with my wife, drew a detailed diagram of where they would drill to drop pesticide and gave us an estimate which included the Angie's LIst discount. We schedule for today, the appt was for Noon - 2 PM and the rep showed up at 12:30 and got right to work. He was done in a little over two hours. Now let's see if they got the little bastards! Horizon came very highly recommended by a friend of mine who's a realtor. Nice to have confirmation outside of Angie's List.

They did a really good job. Especially since a previous contractor we used didn't do such a good job.

We called Horizon to help us with a sugar ant invasion. What started out as a minor nuisance turned into a full,blown invasion in a very short period of time. Those lil buggers were everywhere! They had gotten into all of our cabinets, and we had to throw out so much food! We called three exterminators, including Horizon. One gave us a quote over the phone, the second came to our house, looked around for five minutes, and gave us a price. Horizon came to our house, spent about 30-45 minutes inspecting all areas of our home, then went over all the service options they provided. Their prices were reasonable, and they even assured us that their treatments would not harm our two cats, before we even had to ask. It was not a difficult decision to use Horizon. We were so impressed, we even took out a year long service contract with them, before they even did anything! They came back a few days later, worked their magic, and now, three months later, we are still ant-free! The technician took the time to go over what he was going to do when he got there, and walked us through it when he was done. Words cannot express how grateful we are for their service!

I had a private preview of how they handle things which distinguished them. I have no complaints with the others I did not use them, just that the approach from Horizon was better. I signed up with them for one go around for carpet beetles around the whole house. That was one separate spraying and then an annual service contract for my wife’s peace of mind, first time in 45 years since we have been living here. The service contract is around $600 and the one time spraying was about $400. They were good. We needed to have them come back to take care of something and they did it immediately. They did it all very fast. They are good people. They said what they were meant and meant what they said and they said what they were going to do and they did what they said they were going to do. That is the kind of thing that you want with any vendor. The staff was fine. They were good, courteous and did what they were supposed to do. Price wise truly we don’t know. The first thing we were talking and trying to get straight was the mission they were there to accomplish and the price was secondary. We were satisfied with the mission and we thought the price was reasonable when compared to some of the others so we did not bother much with it and we just paid it. Probably we could have got it cheaper. I was more interested in making sure that my wife had peace of mind than whether it was 100 bucks more or less.

Our first service from Horizon goes back over 10 years ago when we had already dealt with a number of exterminators regarding a recurring bee problem. The Horizon team listened, checked the entire home and made recommendations. Long story short, their service worked where others had not. We've since worked with them on a preventive plan since then. Very happy with the team.

I liked them. They were pretty good because, even though they knew it was raining and the treatment might be washed away, they still came and put the treatment in and it was actually effective. So that was quite a good experience for me. The staff was very friendly.

The tech returned 3 times, until the issue was resolved. Very professional. Courteous and neat.

Bed bugs found their way into our home, and I found Horizon on Angie's List. We could not have been happier with their professional and competent service, and I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone in need of an exterminator. Glen came to our home to do the initial inspection, and he was meticulous and considerate. He took time to answer all of our questions, and thorough explained the treatment and cost of service. He also walked us through the appropriate prep steps we needed to do before treatment to get the best results. Ours is a two-family home, and we had to treat the upstairs bedroom, office, and living room as well as do a preventative treatment downstairs. Then Sandy hit, and like many other businesses in New Jersey, they were closed. Glen reached out to us via cell phone, and once the office was up and running they called us to reschedule. They were very accommodating and considerate of our schedules. We worked with two exterminators, Johnny and Jose, and both men were prompt, efficient and professional. They both took time to answer our questions and put any and all concerns to rest. Horizon has removed the pests from our home and will come back in a few months for a follow up inspection. The staff at Horizon made us feel at ease, and I would use their services again, although I hope I won't have to...no one wants bed bugs.

needed to have someone find out what the scatching noise in attic and walls were. I also needed to rid the outside of the house of bugs.the tech came and it turned out that they do not do removal of any animals, just set traps. I got an estimate for a whole house extermination for bugs. the estimate seemed reasonable. however at this this time we did not choose to exterminate.

The people who come to the house to do the work are excellent, professional, dedicated and caring. The only complaint I have about Horizon is the phone service or the office. It is difficult to get through and when I finally do, I am always told they don't cover stink bugs which is what my original contract was for. I even left them for a year because of that. But after the window issue, rehired them and have been very pleased with the work and the results. The office still gives me a hard time but not as bad as before. Advice: Make sure everything you want exterminated is written in the contract.
