Description of Work: Horizon Pest Control sprayed the inside of the house for pest control.

Description of Work: Cleaned gutters front of house. Serviceman Juan Maldonado of Horizon Pest Control did a very thorough job as contracted. He was very professional and very personable and I would certainly recommend his services.

Description of Work: In May we signed up for the Home Guard Plus service for the year which included insect and pest control as well as termite monitoring service. The cost covers a full year of visits (4/year). They provide a discount for returning customers. In the spring we have had issues with carpenter ants and in the fall/winter it is the field mice. They spray for the ants and insects on each visit and then check the mouse feeding stations. The feeding stations are meant for the mice to take the bait and then exit the house in search of water. We have noticed a decrease in activity since joining the service.

Description of Work: The attic of our garage was infested with squirrels, which had ripped out the soffits. Before we replaced them, we called in horizon -- they created a tunnel/funnel OUT of the attic to the outside and blocked all other holes. After10 days the device was removed and the soffits replaced (a separate contractor). No more squirrels -- and no guilt

Description of Work: Picked them as recommended by Angies List for pest control problem (mice and termite prevention). They seemed to know what they were doing and were professional. Not in a position to judge exactly what they did as not a trained professional. But I'd use them again. Only complaint was I spent a lot of time with the first guy who came out explaining my situation but had to repeat all this to the next guy to come who actually performed the service.

Description of Work: Had squirrels in nest in aluminum sided over-hangs near roof. Put cage to empty nest. Came back 3 weeks later but squirrels came back into nest. Blocked off. So far no squirrels. Workers professional, neat, competent and on time. But It would be more reassuring if estimator came with ladders and checked out problem instead of me having to tell him I could not see too much. The house is up on a terrace and 3 stories high. Also put in chimney cap. Good job on that.

Description of Work: I’ve had with trouble carpet beetles entering my home, so I contacted Horizon for help in May of this year. I’ve always been very pleased with Horizon Pest Control. They resolved the issue with carpet beetles for quite some time, and I was happy with their service. Their employees were professional and helpful. Unfortunately, I just discovered that the bugs are back. I’ve contacted the office about this earlier today, and I felt that the receptionist wasn’t concerned about my issue. At first, she said they weren’t able to schedule an appointment until next week. However, when I mentioned Angie’s List she placed me on hold, and moved my appointment up to Friday.

Description of Work: I had a handy man come in to fix some items before I get the house painted. The handyman noticed that we might have carpenter ants. I looked in the yellow pages and found that Horizon is closest to my house. I checked their rating on Angie List and they have very good grades. I called and set-up an appt. immediately and they came looked over the house in the evening. I received the quote for service for the year. They came on a Saturday to fit my schedule. They called to say that they would be delayed. The serviceman was polite, thorough and neat. He found I also had carpenter bees under my mail box.
