Description of Work: Ordered laminate flooring for my dining room, living room and hallway. Also had carpet installed on floor. The laminate flooring immediately started to buckle soon after it was installed. Called company and had owner and a rep from the flooring come to the house to look at floor. The owner said it was the way it was installed not the laminate. (It was his installer that laid the floor). The installer came back several weeks later, took up most of the floor, but he said it was not his fault. I felt it was a combination of the installer because he laid the floor over uneven floor that was already there. I think he should have either instructed me to get someone to even out the floor before it was laminated or carpet value do it or tell me it would not work. I also think the product sold to me was inferior. Unfortunately after it was installed a second time it continued to buckle but several things got in the way of being able to continue fighting this battle. Super | storm sandy happened, a relative died, I had been diagnosed with health problems and was consumed with other things. The process started in August of 2012, as of 2014, I have lived, unhappily with a floor I paid a lot of money for. PS. Carpet Value never sent me the warranty for the laminate I asked for, did not return my call, and never attempted to reach me to see how I liked their service.
